在风险投资中,良好的信用行为和由此形成的可靠的信用关系是风险投资家与风险企业家委托代理关系产生的基础,而完善的信用机制是形成良好的信用行为和可靠信用关系的保障,所以构建完善的风险投资信用机制是风险投资有效运行的关键。     

A joint venture in urban high school reform

This article describes a joint attempt by the federal government, a private foundation, several local social service agencies, and a local school district to revitalize an urban high school and its neighboring community. This revitalization was to occur through the development of an information system that would provide high school students, adult learners, and community residents with data on educational and job opportunities in St. Louis. The information system was to be reinforced by counseling and referral services provided jointly by the school system and by local civic organizations.The intended purposes and potential impact of such a project that aims at urban high school reform are discussed. The paper provides some insights into the potential pitfalls involved in the implementation of small discretionary projects, as well as the promise of providing integrated social services to an urban population.Presently Assistant Vice President, The Fashion Institute of Technology.     

环境与组织因素组态效应对新创企业绩效的影响——基于模糊集的定性比较分析

基于组态理论,探讨影响不同新创企业间绩效差异的多重并发因素和因果复杂机制。利用模糊集定性比较分析方法对237个样本企业进行分析,深入探究由环境层面的2个条件与组织层面的3个条件组成的不同组态与新创企业绩效之间的关系。研究发现:①高创业机会识别、高创业拼凑和高创业学习都是新创企业产生高绩效的必要条件,缺乏高创业机会识别、缺乏高创业拼凑是非高绩效产生的必要条件;②新创企业产生高绩效的驱动机制分为4条路径并概括为3种构型模式;③抑制新创企业绩效水平的路径和促进绩效的路径具有非对称性的特征。

在经济社会中,信息在投资决策中的作用越来越受到广泛的重视。一项投资决策的产生,或者会给一个企业带来丰厚的利润,或者会使一个企业濒临倒闭,而一项决策的优劣无疑取决于对真实可靠的资料和信息的大量占有。然而未来市场会受到诸多因素的影响而千变万化。本文把未来市场状况作为随机事件,依据高等数学中的概率理论,对未来市场和信息公司的水平作出分析和评价,从而得出科学的投资决策。

由于我国的创业资本投资刚刚起步,缺乏经验,特别是资本市场尚不完善,因而在对创业价值的评估和股份份额的计算方法上,存在着许多缺陷,美国创业资本家的评估方法是在数千投资案例和数十年经验中发展而来的,因而是比较成熟方法,需要我们根据国内资本市场的实际情况加以借鉴。

Discipline as a cooperative venture: Where are we?

Summary The study investigated to what extent conditions that induce cooperation in an activity were present in schools in relation to student discipline. Based on data from a large sample of secondary school principals, it was found that there was considerable disagreement about the quality of discipline and about the behavioral focus of teachers' and principals' concerns. Involvement in making and enforcing rules was differentially distributed, with principals and teachers much more involved than other groups. Involvement was not found to be related to the schools' identified disciplinary objectives.The research described in this article was carried out with assistance from the Virginia State Chamber of Commerce.

On the institutional defect and its correction of venture capital in China

Kanzi: A new beginning

Ape language research has been marked by constantly shifting demands made by those who feel that only human beings can acquire language. Kako (1999) continues in this tradition, but his paper marks a significant shift. For Kako concedes that Kanzi possesses rudimentary syntactic skills; but he questions whether Kanzi possesses morphosyntax. Rather than searching, yet again, for some linguistic element that Kanzi has not mastered, we feel it would be more productive, for reasons we explore, to focus now on what exactly Kanzi can do and how this came about.
