The Roles of Teachers in English Teaching

The issue of improving the efficiency of college English teaching and learning has long puzzled our educators and English teachers.There are many ways to help the solving of the problem,but in China,where English is mainly taught in classroom,the teacher is a very important factor to influence the result of English teaching.In order to solve the problem,the teacher must know exactly what roles he should play in the process of teaching and make some changes in his old teaching methods.     

The Lead-in in Learner-centered English Classroom Teaching

For many years,people have been exploring different kinds of teaching pattern of triggering the students’ interests in English and enhancing the efficiency of teaching and have been seeking different kinds of approaches of optimizing the process of class teaching.So many English class teaching methods such as five-step teaching method and task-based teaching method are put forward,but these methods pay more attention to imparting new knowledge to students and to training their ability of using English than to triggering their interests in English.This article try to solve this problem by exploring different ways of lead-in in English classroom teaching to arouse students’interests in English learning.     

On the Application of Humor in College English Teaching

Humorous teaching helps liven up class, create a harmonious atmosphere, and promote interactions between teachers and students, thus relieving the anxiety of the learner and stimulating their motivation and creativity. This paper discusses the effects of the use of humor on College English teaching in practical scenarios as well as the principles to be followed, aiming to improve the teaching efficiency and students’ interest in English learning.

The lack of communicative efficiency among students is still an important problem in China’s English teaching circle.Learner-centered language teaching and learning approach proposed by Nunan and Breenin 1980 s is the best one to solve the problem. Some Thoughts on Improvement of English Listening Instruction

The teaching of English listening has long been limited to the textbooks and tapes,which has surely led to a lot of demerits in teaching listening up to now.So at present,it's very important to improve the following eight aspects of teaching listening:teachers,textbooks,relationship between teachers and students,equipments,application of schematic theory,combination of listening and speaking,listening tests and teaching English listening through movies for the purpose of maximizing the efficiency of listening teaching.Among them,the last aspect,namely,teaching English listening through movies is emphasized.     

The Comparison between Audio-lingual Method and Communicative Language Teaching in the Foreign Language Teaching

To increase the efficiency of teaching and improve the quality of teaching, it is necessary to learn the English teaching methodology and put the theory into practice. Audio-lingual Method and Communicative Language Teaching are very important methods in English language teaching. In this essay, I made a comparison and analysis based on their theories and practices. It is beneficial for us to proceed from the reality and use these methods appropriately.     

Maximizing the usage of technology-enhanced teaching and learning of science and mathematics in English program in the Malaysian secondary schools system

This research is attempting to examine the effectiveness in the application of ICT （information and communication technology） and standardize courseware in ETeMS （English for Teaching Mathematics and Science） or PPSMI （Pengajaran and Pembelajaran Sains and Matematic dalam Bahasa Inggeris） in English program in the Malaysian secondary school system. Five dimensions of secondary school （type of school, demographic, leadership quality, teaching and learning culture, and teachers＇ personal and working experience） were examined to determine the maximizing usage of TEC （technology-enhanced classroom） in the learning program. In general, there is a significant difference among factors stated above with maximizing usage of TEC in teaching and learning of science and mathematics in English program. The learning culture is also closely related. In addition, the school and teaching staff are another two essential factors found to be the strong fundamental of maximizing the usage of technology in TEC teaching and learning with towering quality. This study represents an addition to the extant literature on maximizing the usage of technology-enhanced teaching and learning towards the excellence of education in the secondary school system. The maximizing usage of TEC teaching and learning environment within the secondary school system is pivotal towards achieving high quality human capital and improving the efficiency and integrity of technology-enhanced learning of science and mathematics in English program. This study provides further groundwork to assist existing education managers to improve work quality and deliver the maximizing usage of TEC teaching and learning towards the excellence in secondary education.     

西班牙语教学对智慧教学环境的需求探讨

21世纪的教育呈现出数字化、网络化、智能化和多元化的特征,对于西班牙语教学来说,加快智慧教学环境的建设日趋重要.基于高校小语种教学现状的分析,讨论西班牙语在课堂教学、口语课以及语言测试中对智慧教学环境的具体需求,以及如何打造智慧化学习环境,以满足个性化和主动学习的需求.     

基于人机协同的开放教育教学分析框架构建

传统的开放教育教学面临资源短缺、评价困难、管理繁琐、教学分析方法局限性大等问题。文章基于人机协同理念设计开放教育教学分析框架,人类教师与智能机器双向赋能,为教学、评价和管理工作高效开展打开新局面。应用该框架分析开放教育的一堂面授辅导课,通过机器视觉分析、自然语言处理和教师协同分析,突破开放教育教学分析瓶颈,提升开放教育课堂分析的效率,从而助推开放教育实现内涵式发展。     

智能课堂助手：人工智能背景下的教学工具

智能课堂助手是人工智能发展的产物,其采用自然语言处理、情感分析技术与学生自然交互,实现趣味性学习、个性化教学。从大学课堂情境、学具、教具、资源4个方面的教育价值进行分析,提出智能课堂助手与学生自然语言交互的课堂教学架构,并实现课堂教学具体应用。研究发现,智能课堂助手对学生的课堂参与度有积极影响,智能课堂助手正向影响学生课堂情感状态,正向情绪高于负向情绪,课堂不良行为大幅降低。     

非英语专业学生学习动机的调查与分析

本文对我院2004届来自四个省（四川，陕西，青海和西藏）的不同专业的非英语专业大学生的英语学习动机做了一份问卷调查。动机是一个非智力因素，对英语学习起着非常重要的作用。本文作者在调查分析的基础上对英语教师如何激发学生的动机提出了自己的几点建议。     

多元智力理论应用于多媒体外语教学的探讨

基于3G网络的WAP顶岗实习辅助管理系统设计与开发

顶岗实习是提高学生知识水平和操作技能的重要途径。在研究顶岗实习存在问题的基础上,使用WML语言设计开发一种基于3G网络的WAP顶岗实习辅助管理系统。通过Web平台+WAP业务,采用B/S模式将基于WEB的HTML语言信息转换后显示在3G智能手机上。从而为学生和管理人员提供了一个便捷高效的沟通平台,充分提高了顶岗实习管理的效率,同时也为高校教学管理系统移动功能的延伸提供一定的借鉴。     

影响英语阅读效率的非语言因素探讨
