深入开展社区教育 提升社会管理能力

社会管理能力建设是当前经济社会发展过程中的重要任务之一。文章对社会管理能力建设的背景、原因,以及社区教育在社会管理中的作用、如何发挥社区教育作用等问题进行了阐述,研究分析了从社区教育的角度加强社会管理能力建设等问题。     

Where’s the Community Practice? Gaps in Community Practice Education in a Clinical-Community Social Work Program

Although the profession of social work has a rich history of supporting community organizing and engagement efforts, there has been a trend toward educational programs that focus heavily on the clinical components of social work. The purpose of this study was to perform an exploratory investigation of the potential need for more community-centered educational content at a school of social work in the Gulf Coast, which advertises itself as offering a clinical-community practice program. Researchers developed and administered a questionnaire to all current students of the School of Social Work to evaluate the program’s efforts to provide a balanced clinical-community practice education. Student responses to the questionnaire suggested that the community practice learning opportunities at the school were not represented equally in quality or quantity to the clinical material. Students reported limited access to field placements that focused on community practice. The researchers suggest that the results of this study are reflective of a potential national trend in social work education toward a narrower focus on clinical practice, and away from its roots in community organizing and advocacy.

十九大报告提出构建"共建共治共享"现代社会治理体系,在此背景下,聚焦社区教育与社会治理主题,通过对社区教育政策发展史进行梳理和分析,考究当代社区教育与社会治理融合的机理和演绎过程,从"实践切入""实践路径"和"实践方向"三个角度,对现代社区教育实践特性进行剖析,以审视现代社区教育与社会治理的逻辑关系和理论内涵,呈现社区教育服务社会治理的价值。     

The Simulation of a Neighborhood Family Service Center for Teaching Macro Practice

ABSTRACT

This paper describes an approach to teaching macro practice that involves students in the development of a simulated neighborhood family service center. Utilizing existing partnerships between a urban university, several public schools and social-health agencies, students work with actual data from census reports and community surveys to design and administer a simulated center and its programs. An integrated macro practice framework is utilized to ensure that students develop a set of knowledge and skills for community and agency based practice. The course embodies the belief that students must be educated to integrate community and organizational theory and practice in order to be agents of social change. Implications for social work education will be discussed.     

Benefits and Challenges of Service-Learning in Baccalaureate Social Work Programs

Service-learning is a pedagogical approach that integrates students’ classroom instruction with community experience. This article discusses qualitative results from a national survey examining service-learning in Council on Social Work Education–accredited baccalaureate programs. Almost 80% of the 202 program respondents required service-learning. They reported that benefits of incorporating service-learning in the BSW curriculum include assisting students in building community connections, applying theory and skills, socializing to the social work profession, and increasing self-awareness and exposure to diverse populations. Cited challenges include securing agency sites, time, and logistics. Findings support existing research suggesting that service-learning may benefit social work undergraduate education.     

幼儿社会技能——进入儿童群体的重要社会标签

社会标签是社会、他人或社会组织给有关人员加上的一个身份证明,在儿童群体中以人缘的好坏来衡量。社会技能是个体经过学习获得的,从“同伴接纳”的角度分析,主要用于评定同伴接纳或者人际关系(如同伴社会测量地位)。幼儿社会技能是进入儿童群体的重要社会标签,社会技能的获得将促使幼儿良好的心理行为的发生。根据社会技能干预的理论,本文提出社会技能干预训练的方法,以帮助幼儿成功获得进入儿童群体的社会标签。     

中小学社会实践的价值意蕴与有效开展

中小学社会实践是一种主体性、研究性、探索性、综合性的学习活动,是实施素质教育的重要途径。在社会实践中,通过形成生活教育模式,构建学习群体,开展发散思维训练等,学生可以获得直接经验,发展实践能力和创造能力、增强生存能力和社会责任感,提升整体素质。然而,在实施的过程中,由于认识上的模糊或不确定性,实践中的相关条件缺失,导致行动上的摇摆不定,影响了它的正常开展。为此,只有通过制定相关政策,开发课程体系,建设实践基地,健全社会实践评价标准等,才能确保中小学社会实践顺利开展。     

Early Childhood Education and Care Content for the Social Work Curriculum

Social workers are poised to play an important role in early childhood education and care (ECEC) settings; however, they need the knowledge and skills necessary to make a meaningful contribution. This article presents learning activities that infuse ECEC content, centered on the following four areas for social work education: (1) history of the profession, (2) observation of current practice, (3) culturally competent service delivery, and (4) advocacy to enhance social justice. Through this infusion of content, social work educators can better prepare their students for the growing field of ECEC practice and for social work practice more broadly.

社区建设与社会工作教育之间有着密切的联系,他们彼此之间已经而且必将产生更大的影响。本文以在青海省西宁市仓门街街道办事处所辖石坡街社区的实习为例,探讨社会工作实习对社区建设的意义。     

Social media: How the next generation can practice argumentation

In this article the authors share how social media, paired with gaming and in-class supports, can facilitate the practice of scientific argumentation and report data that show how students can learn and practice argumentation through these highly interactive and engaging mediums. Social media will continue to evolve and fluctuate in popularity, but no matter the service or software, there will continue to be online spaces for communication, collaboration, learning, and future career growth. Since the role of education is to prepare students to be college and career ready, the use of social media as a component of schooling should be explored. This work has parsed out specific strategies and methods to support higher order thinking through gaming and social media.     

高职院校社会统计学教学困境与策略研究

社会统计学是和社会实践活动紧密关联的一门方法论学科,也是高职院校相关管理类专业的一门必修课程。根据社会统计学学科特点,阐述教师和学生在教与学中的现状,深入剖析教学困境,分析在教与学中双方难于实现预期目标的原因,提出引入项目教学方式、开发多种教学手段、注重实际应用等对策。     

Inspiring and Training Students for Social Action: Renewing a Needed Tradition

In social work, it is believed that certain knowledge and skills are learned more effectively through experience than through didactic classroom content. Members of the faculty of a school of social work have developed a Social Action Day to reinforce curriculum and translate into practice material about advocacy and ethical responsibilities for social action; show the breadth of social work practice; and enhance the school's sense of community. The authors share their experience to inspire other social work faculty, so that they are better able to foster student interest and passion for political action that may generate social change.     

以社会资本建设和谐社区

社会资本是促进社区发展的一种不可或缺的社会资源。社会资本可以促进合作行为的产生,有助于解决社区治理过程中出现的集体行动困境;可以促进社区内形成自生自发的秩序,减少社区治理成本,达成治理目标;可以促进社区创造一种良好的人际关系,为社区的团结提供一种“粘合剂”,促进社区的和谐,从而推动社区的发展。     

Lifelong Learning in Social Work Education: A Review of the Literature and Implications for the Future

Social workers practice in rapidly changing and complex environments where they encounter challenges that include increasing evidence-based practice requirements, a shifting information landscape, and diminishing workplace resources. To address these challenges, social workers need to engage in lifelong learning. The purpose of this article is to explore conceptual elements and assumptions underlying lifelong learning; propose social work specific approaches to lifelong learning; present a conceptual model to orient social work educators to the possibilities inherent in lifelong learning for practice, with inclusion of suggested practice behavior; and offer a research agenda for practice.     

Social work learning spaces: the Social Work Studio

This paper explores the contribution of a physical learning space to student engagement in social work education. Drawing on a constructivist methodology, this paper examines the findings of a survey conducted with students and staff in a social work and human service programme about their experiences of a Social Work Studio learning space. The analysis identified that students and staff who used the Studio reported that students were emotionally, cognitively and behaviourally engaged in the space, which enriched their development as social work and human service practitioners. The researchers concluded that the Social Work Studio is a useful tool for enhancing social work student engagement and increasing their confidence to address the ‘real-life’ challenges they may face as social work practitioners.     

Strength and Motivation: What College Athletes Bring to Social Work

College athletes develop many strengths and skills during their athletic career, such as dedication, ability to work across cultures, leadership, and community building. Social workers need many of these same skills. This study explores the potential transfer of skills from athletics to social work among 15 former college athlete MSW students. Qualitative interviews asked about transferability of skills developed as college athletes to social work practice. Participants identified both interpersonal and intrapersonal skills gained in their athletic career that were of use in social work practice. Implications for both athletic career development and social work recruitment and education are discussed.     

Educational use of social networking technology in higher education

This study explored how social networking technology can be used to supplement face-to-face courses as a means of enhancing students' sense of community and, thus, to promote classroom communities of practice in the context of higher education. Data were collected from 67 students who enrolled in four face-to-face courses at two public universities in Taiwan. Findings indicated that the majority of participants developed strong feelings of social connectedness and expressed favorable feelings regarding their learning experiences in the classes where social networking sites were used as a supplementary tool. Learner difficulties and concerns of instructors about the educational use of social media are addressed with recommendations for future research and practice.

剖析职业教育在社会服务中的现状,分析发达国家社区职业教育经验,对比教育投入的成效,针对性地提出构建社区职业教育体系,实施促进教育公平的措施,为实现教育的可持续发展、促进社会管理创新提供参考。     

社会工作和社区服务新探

构建和谐社会的主要任务是社会建设,社会建设离不开社会工作,因此,社会工作是构建和谐社会、进行社会建设的战略选择。社区服务是社会工作的重要载体和平台,社会工作的福利属性决定了社区服务的福利属性,社区服务应该坚持福利发展方向。《国务院关于加强和改进社区服务工作的意见》把“社区服务业”改成“社区服务工作”,是对社区服务产业化发展方向的矫正,是向社区服务的社会工作性质、社会福利性质和公共服务性质的真正回归。     

社区教育的社会效益评价问题

《国家中长期教育改革和发展规划纲要（2010-2020年）》提出要广泛开展城乡社区教育,以构建学＊--3型社会。这不仅明确了社区教育发展的目标,更明确了社区教育的社会责任。社区教育具有“教育属性”和“社会属性”两种本质特征。但目前在社区教育实践中往往重视其教育功能而对其社会功能的关注度明显薄弱,社区教育研究中也缺乏社会效益的研究。社区教育的社会效益是指社区教育活动对教育目标群体和当地社会所作出的贡献及其产生的积极影响。社区教育社会效益评价是对社区教育活动所产生的社会效应的持续评价活动。其社会效益评价意义：一是推进构建完整的社区教育评价体系;二是全面促进社区教育工作。社区教育社会效益的抽象性、迟滞性和不易测量性的特性．使其社会效益评价更适合采用综合测评和质性研究的方法,呈现评价客体的多元性、评价内容的复杂性、评价主体的协同性、评价实施的全方位和持续性的特点。
