Under the guidance of the extremely important recent instructions of our great leader Chairman Mao, a large number of workers' Mao Tsetung's thought propaganda teams are rapidly entering colleges and universities and other units which have failed to conduct a successful struggle-criticism-transformation campaign. Thus, a high tide in the struggle-criticism-transformation campaign, under the leadership of the working class and participated in by millions of revolutionary people, is being fiercely launched with a force strong enough to overthrow mountains and upset seas. After they have studied Chairman Mao's latest instructions and Comrade Yao Wen-yuan's important article, "The Working Class Must Exercise Leadership in Everything," the broad masses of workers across the nation courageously and without restraint say: "Whenever Chairman Mao waves his hand, we march forward! Under the leadership of the proletarian headquarters, with Chairman Mao as its commander and Vice-Chairman Lin Piao as its deputy commander, we must study better and make living use of Mao Tsetung's thought. The working class should always raise its political consciousness in the course of struggle, unite with the broad masses of revolutionary people of all levels to march forward along Chairman Mao's proletarian revolutionary path, persist in carrying out the great historical mission of a struggle-criticism-transformation campaign, and win a complete victory in the Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution!"  相似文献

ABSTRACT

The literature in higher education public relations affirms that senior public relations administrators should be involved in institutional decision making at colleges and universities. However, public relations professionals are often stereotyped more as information processors and manipulators than as key members of an institution's senior management team. This study examines the role of senior public relations administrators in institutional decision making at the 14 universities in Pennsylvania's State System of Higher Education (SSHE). Based on the findings of this study, it may be concluded that SSHE senior public relations administrators are often not included in efforts to resolve important issues and influence institutional decisions.  相似文献

伯恩斯坦的“分类-架构”教学关系理论从知识和权力两个维度探索教学活动的实质性问题。分类是指不同知识之间界限维持的程度,亦即不同知识内容之间交叉融合的可能性;架构指师生对知识传递与接受的选择、组织、进度与时程的控制,反映了教学关系的权力结构。这一概念框架抓住了教学活动的本质,教学活动的基本结构是由教学关系在分类和架构两个维度上的不同表现所决定的。本研究论证了“分类-架构”框架解释大学本科教学的合理性,将分类和架构两个核心概念进行了操作化定义,并使用定量方法对该概念框架在中国本科教育场景中进行了探索性研究,对于加深对大学教学活动本质和规律的认识有重要启示。  相似文献

高校女性教师是科技人才队伍的重要组成部分,是我国科技事业十分重要的力量,然而这一群体仍面临着人数较少、职业发展遭遇瓶颈、生育友好型环境有待提升等困境。研究基于科研自我效能感理论,运用混合研究方法,对上海6所高校204位工科女性教师开展问卷调查,并辅之以质性访谈,探索工科女性教师科研自我效能感现状及其影响因素。研究发现:工科女性教师的科研概念化能力、执行和汇报能力自我效能感水平相对较高;日均照顾子女和长辈的时间、对自身的领导能力和担任领导职位的自信程度等因素均对其科研自我效能感产生显著正向影响。基于上述结果,研究从国家和高校两个层面对工科女性教师人才的支持政策提出建议。  相似文献

This article dwells on the importance of revolutionary mass criticism and social survey to the reform of universities of liberal arts. Having conscientiously summed up their lesson in traversing a tortuous path, Futan University's "May 7" experimental liberal arts class resolutely carried out Chairman Mao's instruction, "Liberal arts should take the whole society as its factory," and centering on revolutionary mass criticism, organically combined classroom teaching and the Three Great Revolutionary Movements. Over the question of teaching material, they persisted in putting all courses of study under command of Marxism, Leninism, and Mao Tsetung thought. Taking Chairman Mao's works as the basic teaching material and opposing transplanting of the old teaching material, they overcame the lack of teaching material. In the course of revolutionary mass criticism they broke the old concept of "dignity of teachers" and built a new teacher-student relationship. Teaching presented an initial outlook of "officers educate men, men educate officers, and men educate one another."  相似文献

Colleges and universities face a principal-agent problem. There are information asymmetries over the actions chosen by administrators. Because non-profit constraints limit the financial stake of trustees there may be insufficient monitoring of administrators and, consequentially, shirking. It is conceivable that faculty will serve as “delegated monitors” given the proper incentives. Faculty monitoring will most likely benefit a university when: (1) monitoring costs are low and (2) administrators cannot impose significant punishment costs on faculty. The practices of organized faculty participation in governance and tenure naturally achieve such ends. Empirical evidence from a sample of colleges and universities in the United States supports the hypothesis that features of a faculty's employment have significant effects on a university's financial performance.  相似文献

公立高校师德失范行为处理具有排除司法审查的内部行为和准行政管理行为的两重性质,具有行政性特征,故在公立高校师德失范行为处理程序中应当适用正当程序。通过理论推演,厘清了公立高校师德失范行为处理程序中应适用的正当程序要素,并将其分为权力规范和权利保护两个维度的15个指标。通过解析教育部直属高校师德失范行为处理程序文本,发现存在正当程序的基本要素不齐全,两维度的程序建构相比正当程序要求差距较大,程序文本公开不足,程序文本理性思考不足,程序性权利较少被承认和保障等五个方面的问题。因此,需要从实现公权力与私权利的双向平衡,实现合理基础之上的高效便民两个方面,构建公立高校师德失范行为处理的正当程序。  相似文献

China has a territory of 9.6 million square kilometers, and a population of 1.1 billion. There are 1,075 general colleges and universities throughout the country, enrolling a total of approximately 2 million students. Each year we have about 2.5 million graduates from upper middle school, which, added to the number of graduates from previous years, make for a pool of candidates for admission to college and university of about 2.8 million in any given year. In the last two years, in accordance with the state's planning, we have admitted about 700,000 new students to the general colleges and universities each year (which is approximately 3 percent of the total number of people of the same age in the country at large and about 20 percent of the graduates from upper middle schools for that year). To guarantee that the limited resources and funds that the state invests in higher education may take greater effect, we have to select the new students of the highest quality and qualifications to admit to the colleges and universities. At the same time, however, we also have to make it convenient for the broad masses of graduates from upper middle schools to take part in examinations locally and apply for admissions to all the appropriate colleges or universities in the country. Since 1952 we have begun to adopt a system whereby the questions for all general colleges/universities entrance examinations throughout the country are unified, and all colleges and universities are pledged to admit new students on the basis of competitive merit. Thus the plans of colleges and universities in terms of new student admission, the subjects of examination, the questions in the examinations, and the standard answers, as well as the scoring standards or criteria of evaluating results, are all formulated in a uniform way by the state, with the provinces (or autonomous regions or municipalities that are under the direct jurisdiction of the center) carrying out the work of printing the examinations, conducting or holding the examinations, evaluating scores and, finally, admissions. With the exception of a hiatus of twelve years' time during the period of the Cultural Revolution, this nationwide uniform examination system for college and university admission has been in place ever since, and has always been there to ensure, effectively, the quality of the new students being admitted to general colleges and universities, and to ensure the smooth and effective completion of the state's plans for college and university admissions. At the same time, to a certain extent, this system also promoted the enhancement of the quality of teaching and learning in the middle schools, by avoiding repetitive and redundant work and labor in the area of admissions examinations, saving large amounts of human, material, and financial resources.  相似文献

联合国教科文组织自2015年以来在全球范围内开展了一项针对高校学生的可持续发展认知测试,其测试结果开创性地勾勒出了高校学生可持续发展认知的全球图景。基于该测试第一批次全球261所高校的调查数据分析发现,高校学生已具备基本的可持续发展知识和素养,可持续教育已普遍纳入高校的培养计划,未来需要更多地在实践活动中培养学生的可持续责任意识,“可持续发展为导向的大学”理念广泛受到认同与传播。中国高校学生在测试中整体表现优于国际平均水平,这是近年来我国高校开展可持续教育的成果体现。可持续发展教育的进一步推进需要政策、理论和实践等多层面的支持和联动。我国高校围绕立德树人的重要目标,应把可持续发展理念融入学生核心素养和综合素质培养之中。  相似文献

If one acknowledges that scholarship comes in many shapes and forms, and if one agrees with Boyer's argument that it is time to reconsider scholarship in light of the role of faculty members within departments, colleges, and universities, the next logical step then is to see if Boyer's principles can be effectively applied in a university setting. At the 1995 NAPEHE conference, Boyer acknowledged that the next step, as indicated by the title of the Carnegie Foundation's forthcoming sequel Scholarship Assessed, is to identify ways to fairly and equitably evaluate faculty scholarship within the context of the professoriate in general, and in higher education institutions in particular. The authors argue the case for differential application of standards within and among universities, based upon the diversity of missions and goals. Following that, examples are given for how Boyer's classifications have been applied to promotion and tenure standards at one comprehensive land grant university in the midwest. In this article I revisit MacIntyre's lecture on the idea of an educated public. I argue that the full significance of MacIntyre's views on the underlying purposes of universities only become clear when his lecture on the educated public is situated in the context of his wider ‘revolutionary Aristotelian’ philosophical project. I claim that for MacIntyre educational institutions should both support students to learn how to think for themselves and act for the common good. After considering criticisms from Putnam, Wain and Harris I conclude that MacIntyre's later work points towards an idea of educated ‘community’ that is more outward looking and open to difference than his earlier articulated idea of an educated ‘public’.  相似文献
