具有文化内蕴的中国菜菜名中有着中国独有的文化意境美,在翻译菜名时要准确地体现这种文化意境应当采用以下5种方法:采用意译加音译的方法传递出菜名的方言音韵美;直译加注释法表达以吉利的数字命名的菜名;意译法可以较好地表达以美好的植物和器物命名的菜名;直译加典故注释能确切表述含有文化典故的菜名;而菜名中蕴含的造型艺术采用意译或直译加食材注释法比较好。
