对漳州市12所各类中学名学生和体育教师的调查表明,中学生对体育教师角色期望是师德品质比职业学识更优先,学生更注重体育教师的关爱和宽容,体育教师对师德的选择注重自身职业形象的建立.师生对师德品质的选择的不一致,是造成师生关系平淡最直接的原因.不能正确理解体育是阻碍其育人又育心功能的正常发挥.关爱学生,学会宽容,掌握多元的知识及具备全面的业务素质是当今中学生对体育教师的期望.  相似文献

本文采用文献资料法、调查法、访谈法、数理统计法、比较法等对高职院校体育教师行为非权力影响力进行了研究。结果表明:高职院校体育教师行为非权力影响力诸因素能被师生普遍认可,但科研能力因素的影响力师生重视程度不够。现实中体育教师的思想教育水平、语言表达能力、平易近人态度等的影响力达不到教师的期望值。  相似文献

高校师生角色关系是一种围绕教育教学过程而形成的特殊人际关系,是教师和学生角色互动的结果。基于角色理论的视角,探讨目前高校师生角色关系失调的主要表现为:师生角色间冲突、师生角色不清和师生角色失败;究其原因主要是:角色规范的表面化使得师生角色行为缺乏指导和制约、角色期望的模糊不清或者冲突使得师生角色行为无所适从;并在此基础上提出从角色环境入手明确师生角色规范和期望、从角色主体入手强化师生对角色规范和期望的认同两方面改善师生角色关系失调的建议。  相似文献

国内有关体育教师职业认同的研究还处在未进入成熟的发展阶段.多数学者以魏淑华博士在2005年把教师职业认同的结构按照职业认识、职业情感、职业意志、职业技能、职业期望和职业价值观6个维度编制问卷,在已有的关于体育教师职业认同量化研究的问卷调查法中为依据.但在职业认识这一维度中,问卷设立的题目还不能认定出职业认识的总体水平.因此,将按照体育教师的角色特征重新编制问卷,对今后体育教师职业认同的研究提供参考.  相似文献

在查阅文献的基础上,采用问卷调查法、访谈法对新课程背景下体育教师职业角色认同情况进行了调查研究.结果表明:新课程背景下初中体育教师对各种职业角色有较高的认同度,相比之下,体育教师对教育教学反思者、学生道德监控者、教育教学研究者认同度较低,在认同上存在偏差,而其中男性体育教师的偏差更大.建议:深化体育教师在职培训,帮助体育教师完成职业角色的认同与转换.  相似文献

大学英语教师在促进学生自主学习中扮演着重要角色.该研究利用调查问卷,从师生两个不同视角调查师生对大学英语教师角色的不同期待以及师生双方对教师课堂教学行为的汇报情况.调查结果发现:(1)多数教师认同自主学习理念并愿意将学习责任逐步下放给学生;同时,大部分学生已具备初步的自主学习观念并愿意承担更多的学习责任.师生双方在教师角色的认识上存在趋同性.(2)教师的实际教学行为与学生的期望仍有很大差距.(3)教师的教学行为与其对自身的角色期待大体相关,但期望与实际仍有一定的距离.  相似文献

Students’ presentation is a research-based in-class activity to present views, supporting details or research results on a given topic. Undoubtedly, teachers play important roles in presentations and teachers’ roles are quite different from students’ roles in this activity due to the different role expectations between them. However, in most cases, neither teachers nor students are very clear about the differences between teachers’ role expectations and students’ role expectations, which results in problems such as misunderstandings, low efficiency, information asymmetry, etc. This article intends to explore these differences by conducting a questionnaire survey. The research was carried out among 60 postgraduates who major in English and 10 teachers from a normal university. Research results show great differences between teachers’ and students’ role expectations and suggestions for narrowing the gaps are also addressed in the paper.  相似文献

Teachers are an important source of information for traditionally disadvantaged students. However, little is known about how teachers form expectations and whether they are systematically biased. We investigate whether student–teacher demographic mismatch affects high school teachers’ expectations for students’ educational attainment. Using a student fixed effects strategy that exploits expectations data from two teachers per student, we find that non-black teachers of black students have significantly lower expectations than do black teachers. These effects are larger for black male students and math teachers. Our findings add to a growing literature on the role of limited information in perpetuating educational attainment gaps.  相似文献

对100名非英语专业大二学生进行了问卷调查,对比分析了大学英语自主学习者对教师角色的期待及教师的实际表现,调查结果显示,学生最期待教师在自主学习中扮演心理协调者、顾问及语境营造者的角色;教师在实际教学中所扮演的"参与者"、"心理协调者"及"组织者"这三种角色获得的学生认同感最低;进一步分析发现,除了"评估者"及"资源提供者"这两个角色外,教师在其他角色上的表现均与学生的期待差异显著,尤其是在"心理协调者"、"语境营造者"及"组织者"这三方面。提出了调整教师角色以适应大学英语自主学习者期待的建议。  相似文献

Teaching is a highly personal endeavor shaped by ‘funds of knowledge’ and beliefs about teaching, learning, and students. This case study examines how one Asian immigrant teacher’s personal expectations and beliefs influenced his expectations of students and the teaching and instructional strategies he employed. His expectations of students’ behavior and their failure to conform to his expectations influenced him to utilize more traditional, didactic instructional practices and responses to classroom management dilemmas. It is generally assumed that immigrant and minority students will benefit from exposure to teachers from similar backgrounds, and that ethnically diverse teachers can better prepare minority students for the multicultural workplace and global economy. This study focuses on the role a teacher’s background and experiences play in development of their beliefs about teaching and learning, their expectations of students, and the instructional decisions they make regarding teaching and learning. This study suggests that teachers draw on their personal histories and cultural understandings to create classroom practices which are molded by microcosms of personal ‘funds of knowledge’ and beliefs about teaching and learning. In contrast to conventional wisdom and unquestioned myths, this study emphasizes the importance of knowing that teachers’ cultural backgrounds do not necessarily qualify them to provide the most appropriate instructional environment for students from similar cultural backgrounds. This study suggests that all teachers need to learn to recognize and negotiate the unique social elements culturally diverse students bring to the classroom.  相似文献

20世纪90年代以来,高校师生关系出现了疏离、冷漠、相互利用、对立乃至对抗等不良的关系倾向,其根源在于社会转型和高等教育改革造成的学生对于高校的期望与教师对于学生的期望出现了矛盾和冲突,以及师生之间责任和权利关系的失范,重建和谐的高校师生关系关键在于重建师生角色意识、加强师生的有效沟通以及明晰师生的社会和法律责任。  相似文献

为了解中学教师对中学生未来性别角色发展的期望,本研究采用性别角色期望调查表调查了99名中学教师,结果发现:中学教师对男生的性别角色期望趋近于男性化,对女生的性别角色期望趋近于双性化。教师期望男生在下列特质中高于女生:快乐的、有幽默感的、自立的、有创造力的、喜欢运动的、善交际的、精干的、胆大的、心宽的、不屈不挠的、主动的、奔放的、侠义心肠的、豪放的、外向的、直性子的;教师期望女生在下列特质中高于男生:善良的、爱整洁的、洁身自好的、文雅的、和气的、纯真的、含蓄的、心细的、守本分的、安分的、温柔的、柔情的、温顺的、文静的、贤淑的。  相似文献

Research on students’ aspirations, an important predictor of educational attainment, is mostly focused on individual-level determinants, reflecting the classical status attainment model. Studies have suggested a school composition effect, but ignore school processes. Inspired by new insights in school effects research looking at teachers’ expectations at the school level, we investigate the mediating and moderating role of teachability culture in the relationship between SES composition and aspirations. Multilevel analyses of data (2013–2014) from 2.354 students and 502 teachers across 30 Flemish secondary schools show that teachers’ shared expectations can compensate for the detrimental effects of low SES composition on aspirations.  相似文献

This paper explores the dynamics of conflicting role expectations among Palestinian teachers in Israel while focusing on the ways by which these expectations are generated and shaped by the broader sociopolitical context of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and its impact on the educational system. Following a brief review of the historical background and the changing role patterns among Palestinian teachers in general, the paper focuses on Palestinian education in Israel and the role of Palestinian teachers within it. The central argument is that the Israeli authorities have been systematically using formal education and the teachers' role in order to repress national identity and awareness among Palestinian students. Data from interviews with Palestinian student activists about the contribution of the formal education to their national identity is used to illustrate the dilemmas and challenges experienced by their teachers.  相似文献
