本主要是针对自我同一性问题，评述哈贝马斯是如何批判地继承和吸收德国古典哲学的自我意识理论的。从对康德先验统觉论中的“独白式自我”、费然特“独特主体的自我”，到黑格尔“语言、劳动中的自我”的梳理过程，哈贝马斯认识到传统意识哲学范式的弊端，并在黑格尔那里找到交往理性的最早痕迹，最终实现其语言交往范式的转型。而以劳动为基石的历史唯物主义与哈贝马斯语言交入观在自我同一性问题上形成尖锐的对峙。
