从世界基础教育发展的趋势看,基础教育除了使学生学会读、写、算和日常生活所需要的技能之外,还要培养学生学会解决问题和学会实践,增强寻求就业机会的能力和公民意识。在现有的基础教育框架不变的情况下,满足青少年对教育的基本需求,重要的途径是在中小学增加生涯教育课程,对学生进行生涯辅导。生涯教育会使学生在知识的学习与个体自我觉察、社会、工作之间建立起积极的联系,会使学生在丰富知识学习和塑造完美个性的同时增强未来进入社会的适应能力。  相似文献

Counseling students learn about various theories, models, and career assessment measures during their training. However, the transition to practicum and internship often challenges students to decide on when to apply career theories and measures to specific problems. An assessment schema is proposed to assist counselor trainees with a systematic approach to conceptualizing a client's career problem. 传统的教育经济学观念认为,教师的受教育水平是有价值的,较高的受教育水平往往可以带来较高的经济收益,从而促成教师较好的工作激励和积极性。但是关于发展中国家教师经济收益的研究结果并没有很好地支持这一观念——越好的教师可以得到越高的工资。教师如何在整个教学过程中发挥作用,这是分析教师教学行为与教学质量的一个非常重要的问题。那么,在教师薪酬激励失效或者无法实施的情况下,从教师职业发展、职业生涯的角度进行教师的教学工作激励研究显得更为重要。基于中国农村数据的经验分析结果表明,农村中小学教师的工资主要取决于教师的教龄和职称,而与教师个人的教学质量没有直接的显著相关性;良好的教师职业生涯发展可以提高教师工作的积极性和努力程度,从而提高教师的教学质量和学生的学业成绩。教师学历提高的时间越短、速度越快、学历提高增长值越大、教师积极地参与教学研究,那么教师所教学生的学业成绩提高的越快;对于不同年龄段教师的分析表明,教师职业发展对提高教师教学质量的有效性,在40岁之前较为突出,这在25岁到30岁年龄段体现得更为明显。因此,虽然良好的教师职业发展作为一种教学激励,可以提高教师的教学质量,但这种有效性是有年龄阶段限制的。可以判定,在农村地区中小学教育系统中形成的、通过教师职业生涯发展体现的教学激励,能够提高教师的教学质量和学生的学业成绩,这是在薪酬激励失效后,较为有效的一种教学激励,是值得赞许和推广的。  相似文献

以实践性和体验性为特色的职业生涯规划类课程对以知识构建为核心的传统教学模式提出了新的挑战。教练式教学与传统的教学方式相比,具有目标驱动、发挥潜能、柔性牵引等特点,在职业生涯规划类课程中具有激发学生内在需求,提高课程教学质量等应用价值。教练式教学应包括实现信任、清晰目标、实践体验、评估反馈等环节。  相似文献

Annually, there are school counseling specific counselor educator positions that remain unfilled. There is a need for more counselor educators with school counseling backgrounds. This grounded theory provides a model of the process by which school counselor educators decide to enter academia and what keeps them in their positions, based on focus groups with 32 participants. Results showed the reasons for leaving school counseling, what factors promote entry into school counselor education, and what keeps school counselor educators in that role. Although numerous universities offer graduate students opportunities to develop their teaching, few studies probe the credit-bearing graduate course in college teaching. A survey of 105 instructors of graduate pedagogy courses in the US and Canada explored their preparation, professional appointments, students, and assignments. Results showed diverse institutional units offer college pedagogy courses, which are taught by instructors with substantial preparation, most frequently to multidisciplinary groups from diverse majors. Many instructors assign teaching statements, though specifics differ. Comparison to the authors' earlier case study reveals an emerging, recognizable, and international course type that coheres in structure, timing, and at least one key assignment. The ubiquity of college pedagogy courses recommends substantial institutional investment, scholarly analysis, and professorial discussion to align them with the contemporary goals and standards of graduate education.  相似文献

This article attempts to provide an overview of relevant recent initiates undertaken in Singapore to attract and retain school teachers. A teaching track in the new career structure seeks to recognise and provide opportunities for teachers who prefer to serve life-long as teachers instead of being promoted to administrative positions. Coupled with this is the draw of financial incentive in the new recognition structure to reward the good ones who have the stamina to stay, and a competitive gross starting salary to entice new entrants into the profession. The author presents the thrust in education of the country as a means to an economic end and surfaces inherent contradictions. An exploratory study was conducted to compare the effectiveness of two different career education courses on career decision making for college freshmen in Taiwan. Two different career education courses were designed for college students; one was a cognitive restructuring intervention and the other was a career decision skills training intervention. The cognitive restructuring career education course was compared to two other conditions. Approximately 164 college freshmen were administered the Career Decision Scale, a demographic sheet, and a follow-up questionnaire. The design selected for the study was a pre- and post-test design, using two experimental groups (two approaches to career education courses) and one control group. A total of 152 subjects completed both pre- and post-analyses. A 3 × 2 multivariate analysis of covariance (MANCOVA) was performed. The factors were treatment and gender. In the comparisons of the students who took the two different approaches to career education courses and the students who did not, statistical analyses of the data indicated that regardless of gender, a significant treatment main effect on the indecision scale of the Career Decision Scale was found. However, there were no significant treatment group differences between the two experimental groups. Implications and suggestions for designing a college career education course were also discussed.  相似文献
