面向开放关联数据的知识地图研究

指出知识地图作为知识定位、组织和可视化展现的一种方法,是开放关联数据的高效利用和深度挖掘的重要途径。目前,关联数据知识地图的研究仍很薄弱。以研发面向开放关联数据的跨域共享与按需服务为目的,依次研究关联数据知识地图的基本原则、主要特征、体系结构和关键技术。在此基础上,采用语义Web编程技术实现面向DBpedia、Yago、FOAF、Freebase等不同关联数据集的知识地图系统,进一步论证本文的研究工作。     

基于关联数据的政府数据发布

采用关联数据标准来发布政府数据,可以提高政府数据的透明度,提升政府数据的利用率。对政府数据利用关联数据标准进行发布的优势、途径和应用进行梳理,强调利用本体技术,将各类术语体系,包括与政府运作有关的各类数据模型,开发规范成一个政府数据本体,可以使得数据更规范、更有关联,容易查找和利用。     

Linked Data Metadata for Digital Clothing Collections

ABSTRACT

The historical clothing collections held by academic and other institutions serve as an important resource for scholars in fields ranging from fashion design to sociology. While metadata schemes have been created for individual clothing collections, no standard metadata scheme for clothing had been developed. This case study describes the creation of a linked data metadata scheme for clothing designed for the Oregon State University's College of Business Design Programs' Historical and Cultural Textile and Apparel Collection housed within the ScholarsArchive digital repository. In addition, the scheme can be used as a standard clothing metadata scheme which may be implemented by other organizations, or extended as needed.

基于关联开放数据的数字文化资源语义融合方法研究——欧洲数字图书馆案例分析

[目的/意义] 通过对国内外数字文化资源语义融合相关研究成果的总结和Europeana案例分析,为国内数字文化资源整合的研究与实践提供参考和借鉴。[方法/过程] 选取目前发展较为成熟的数字文化资源整合项目Europeana作为案例,分别从资源内容描述规则、语义知识本体模型设计、元数据语义化操作和关联数据的发布与访问4个方面对其数字文化资源语义融合的实现方法进行分析。[结果/结论] 研究发现,构建聚合式元数据模型、建立细粒度语义概念模型、创建开放的语义关联数据网络、提供泛在化关联数据应用服务是实现数字文化资源语义融合的关键。

立足于数字资源的语义互联模式研究,审视当前关联数据技术相关的理论和实践研究,提出基于关联数据的数字资源语义互联模式,详细阐述这一模式的架构,明晰该模式下关联数据的衍射机制及本体的协同机制,探讨关联数据质量、关联数据间距与关联数据强度对语义互联效率的影响,并分析该模式的优势及面临的挑战。     

医学相关领域开放关联数据集调查研究

[目的/意义]关联数据的研究对于数据资源的描述、组织、发布、检索、利用等具有重要意义。医学相关领域拥有庞大的数据规模和发达的数据共享实践,对该领域开放关联数据集进行系统的调查研究,对关联数据集的共享、管理、应用而言有重要的参考价值。[方法/过程]从平台分布、主题、格式、链入链出关系、所用词表等维度就医学相关领域的85个开放关联数据集进行调查及统计分析;从药物知识发现、语义关联搜索、智慧医疗建设等方面研究关联数据集的实际应用问题。[结果/结论]归纳医学相关领域开放关联数据集在科学研究和实践应用中的特点,以及在推动语义网发展和支持智慧医疗等方面的欠缺之处,以期促进对语义网、关联数据网络等关联数据发展与应用相关问题的进一步思考、探索和解决。     

Access to Online Historical Aerial Photography Collections: Past Practice,Present State,and Future Opportunities

The authors review how access to historical aerial photograph collections has evolved in response to technological developments and addresses areas for further advancement, with a particular emphasis on developing, preserving, and sustaining online collections. The authors focus specifically on the areas of metadata, the Semantic Web and linked data, and sustainability through collaboration. The article includes brief case studies, highlighting various projects involving the aerial photography collections at the University of Minnesota. The conclusion asserts the critical role played by geographic information librarians in effectively carrying out the strategies described in the article as they relate to the long-term sustainability of digital geospatial collections.

[目的/意义] 应用关联数据技术进行历史档案资源聚合,以发掘资源数据的潜在关联,发现新知识并实现价值增值,进而优化知识服务。[方法/过程] 梳理档案资源开发利用和聚合的相关研究,从资源聚合的目标、原则、流程和层级关系等方面构建历史档案资源聚合框架,并采用"经史子集"实例分析资源聚合过程。[结果/结论] 构建了关联数据视角下历史档案资源聚合的理论指导框架和检索服务平台,为历史档案资源的开发利用提供从理论到实践的实现路径。     

关联数据在图书馆界的应用与挑战

关联数据是语义网的一种实现方式,描述了通过可链接的URI方式来发布、分享、链接Web中各类资源的方法,通过链接网上的分布式异构数据使得不同领域的数据相互关联,自提出以来被企业、政府等各界重视应用和研究,美国国会图书馆、瑞典国家图书馆等图书馆也加入其中,并在为图书馆提供语义服务、扩展服务资源等方面提供了选择和帮助,但关联数据在图书馆的进一步应用也还面临着用户交互、数据整合、链接维护、隐私保护等方面的挑战。     

语义关联数据网可互操作溯源构建的几个关键问题研究

语义关联数据网中,可互操作溯源是建立语义信任的关键手段,这在国际学术研究组织中一直是热点研究问题,W3C溯源工作小组也推出了PROV模型,以解决统一的溯源信息发布和访问问题。通过从溯源粒度、溯源状态性、溯源之溯源、自动化发布、可互操作溯源与隐私等方面的分析研究,深入阐述构建语义关联数据网可互操作溯源中的规划和技术问题,提出实践准则,为后续应用实践打下基础。     

Metadata Schema to Facilitate Linked Data for 3D Digital Models of Cultural Heritage Collections: A University of South Florida Libraries Case Study

ABSTRACT

The University of South Florida Libraries house and provide access to a collection of cultural heritage and 3D digital models. In an effort to provide greater access to these collections, a linked data project has been implemented. A metadata schema for the 3D cultural heritage objects which uses linked data is an excellent way to share these collections with other repositories, thus gaining global exposure and access to these valuable resources. This article will share the process of building the 3D cultural heritage metadata model as well as an assessment of the model and recommendations for future linked data projects.     

Academic Libraries as Digital Gateways: Linking Students to the Burgeoning Wealth of Open Online Collections

ABSTRACT

Digital collections of full-text e-books are proliferating on the Web and provide a wealth of open content for students. To examine whether academic libraries are providing a digital gateway to these resources, ten e-book titles from open digital collections were searched in the online catalogs and Web pages of ten academic libraries serving distance learners. Only three of the digital collection e-books were available from any of the library catalogs, and none were found on library Web pages. Availability of the ten e-book titles through Google and other digital discovery tools also had mixed results. Continued projects for improved delivery of open online content are necessary. In order to fulfill their role as digital gateways for their academic communities, libraries must pursue metadata standards to support cross-searching, collaborative projects, and development of e-resource search software, which integrates with the library catalog.

关联爵士项目是一项探索关联数据在数字人文领域中应用的实验项目,主要关注如何利用关联数据提升文化遗产文献的可视性,即通过爵士历史的数字档案揭示音乐家之间的关系以及他们在爵士领域的社交网络.介绍关联爵士项目产生的背景、具体内容、开发步骤以及项目中的关键问题,认为其可以为我国关联数据与数字人文领域的结合研究带来一定的启示:采用挖掘实体关系为目标的研究路线与方法、最大化文本来源、发布中文名称规范关联数据、对现有本体进行选择和映射、利用众包方式开展文本分析工作.     

Expanding the Use of Linked Data Value Vocabularies in PCC Cataloging

Abstract

The Program for Cooperative Cataloging's 2018–21 strategic plan includes as one of its goals to “expand [the] use of linked data value vocabularies to augment, and where feasible to replace, existing metadata practices”. This paper sets out the reasons for pursuing this goal and considers some of the implications for MARC cataloging practice.
