基于语料库的HAPPEN语义韵的对比研究

本文采用"中间语对比分析"法,通过在线检索和AntConc3.2.1w软件检索,比较了美国当代英语语料库(COCA)和中国学习者英语语料库(CLEC)中HAPPEN①的搭配词及其语义韵倾向。重点分析了在两个语料库中同时出现的高频搭配词what和thing(s)。结果显示:1)HAPPEN在COCA中的搭配词远远少于CLEC,两个语料库中的语义韵倾向不同;2)当HAPPEN和两个词项搭配时,学习者过度使用中性语义韵,对HAPPEN和thing(s)搭配的掌握没有对HAPPEN和what搭配的掌握好;3)HAPPEN和what共现的构式具有语义韵倾向,在两个语料库中也不同。     

中国国防白皮书英译之due+N搭配研究

以英国国家语料库(BNC)和美国当代英语语料库(COCA)为参照语料库,对中国国防白皮书英译本中due+N结构的搭配研究发现,这一结构在英译本中呈现显著搭配、非显著搭配与异常搭配三种情况。due+N结构的非显著搭配与异常搭配很可能受到汉英词典中相关词条的影响。借助语料库手段,在目标语语料库中对节点词进行搭配检索可以帮助避免译文中非显著搭配与异常搭配的出现。     

基于语料库的中国英语学习者写作中very一词的搭配特点及错误分析

基于《中国学习者英语语料库》（CLEC）中语料,借助语料库检索软件Wordsmith 4.0,探寻中国英语学习者对very一词的使用情况,特别是分析very一词的搭配特点及错误使用情况,以期对中国英语学习者准确地使用very一词起到指导参考作用。     

基于语料库的《雅各书》词汇特征研究——使用钦定版(KJV)英译本《圣经》研究

本文选取KJV英译本《圣经》中《雅各书》一卷全部文本,自建小型语料库,通过现代计算机语料库检索技术,对《雅各书》从词表、词簇、搭配、共现、语义韵等方面分析其词汇特征,进一步研究该经文的用词特点。

评论附加语fortunately研究——以《中国日报》政治新闻为例

该研究在系统功能语言学框架下,对自建语料库进行检索与分析,探讨了评论附加语fortunately在《中国日报》政治新闻中的表现特征.研究发现:fortunately作为新闻说话者对命题进行主观附加的一种方式,隐性表达了说话者对命题合意的态度,其出现在《中国日报》政治新闻报道中.     

基于COCA语料库的近义短语动词语义韵调查——以result in和bring about为例

通过检索美国当代英语语料库中近义短语动词result in和bring about的词语搭配,对比两个词组显著搭配词的语义倾向,得出result in具有消极语义韵,而bring about具有积极语义韵。     

基于语料库浅议表示“相当地”英语词汇的辨析

自从Sinclair在语料库研究的基础上提出搭配的定义以来,很多语言学研究者都开始使用语料库进行词汇研究。本研究选取与汉语“相当地”相对应的4个近义词“quite、rather、pretty、fairly”作为研究对象,从本族语语料库的真实语料中检索这4个词在真实语料中的搭配词并计算MI值,通过研究它们的搭配词来分析其用法和区别,从而指导学生正确地使用这组英语词汇。     

“改”类词语右侧类联接和语义韵的实证性研究

采用语料库语言学的相关研究方法,选用现代汉语语料库,对"改"类词进行了检索。通过提取检索行中有关搭配词,观察其呈现的不同搭配关系,并参照一定的类联接,分析该类词的语义韵。运用统计学上的显著标准,对数据进行定量分析,同时结合定性分析,可以发现"改"类词语的典型搭配和语义韵特征。研究发现:"改"右侧搭配词大部分呈现中性语义韵,少部分为消极语义韵,极少数情况下为积极语义韵。     

基于语料库的商务英语词语搭配研究——以exchange为例

词语搭配是语料库语言学研究的活跃领域,本文以商务英语语料库为依托,研究商务英语主题词exchange的搭配特征,并从它的高频搭配词与词丛中发现其搭配规律与商务信息,研究结果表明,该词的主要搭配词与词丛是program,rate,billofexchange等,反映出汇率、汇票对商务活动具有重要影响,国际商务交流项目得到越来越多的关注。

The Reader Response Approach to Teaching of English Literature

During interview with English majors, it was found that a majority of students expressed disappointment with their experience of English literature classes. Students' dislike of learning English literature appears to be the major problem of teaching English literature in China. Reader response approach is a good way to solve this problem. In this paper, I explain the rationale behind the reader response approach, such as its origin, definition, features, assumptions, and strategies. Then I illustrate how reader response approach works as a teaching strategy by presenting several teaching models. At last I evaluate its usefuiness for teachers and present the advantages of reader response approach in Chinese context.
