高职建筑工程图识读与绘制课程教学改革

根据当前高职课程改革的基本理论,按照认知规律和职业岗位要求,引入建筑行业制图技术标准,开发工学结合的课程内容体系,总结了课程教学改革实施中取得的效果和存在的问题,提出了一些有针对性课程教学改革措施建议。     

基于代码仓库的语言类计算机课程教学辅助平台

高校计算机类课程作业抄袭现象屡禁不止,加上作业进度跟踪困难、作业批改耗时、师生交流困难等因素,计算机类课程教师已无法通过作业准确评价学生的专业水准。使用代码仓库与持续集成技术,结合课程管理场景,设计了基于代码仓库的教学平台系统。该系统实现作业在线批注、自动审查及代码相似度检测等功能。在C语言计算机课程中应用,反馈结果良好,教学效率得到提高。     

光学教学的实用化探索

为提高学生利用光学知识解决实际问题的能力及在未来求职中的竞争力,简析当今光电产业的专业技术覆盖情况,针对光电企业需求的特点,在过去3年期间,对大学教育中光学教学内容进行了的相应实用化调整,取得了成效,可为理工科教授基础光学提供借鉴。     

The Stanford Instructional Television Network: A Partnership with Industry

The Stanford Instructional Television Network (SITN), the largest single university provider of live televised graduate level engineering courses in the world, partners with industry to address the issues of competitiveness and job productivity. For over 25 years, SITN has offered engineers, scientists and technical managers a means to extend their education without leaving the workplace. SITN uses microwave, tutored videotape instruction, satellite and two‐way video to deliver over 250 credit courses annually as well as non‐credit programmes, certificate offerings and research seminars to industry and government sites.

Computer Graphics in Simulating the Functioning of a Simple Computer

Computer graphics is widely used in several areas of science such as computer science education. The execution of hardware and software computer systems can be skillfully simulated using computer graphics. Such a simulation is very attractive in teaching at a university level. It is a way of visualization where students can see the unseen. In this article, the function of a simple computer is simulated. A simulator ASSEM is developed which is suitable as a teaching tool in computer system courses along with mnemonic and assembly language. The algorithm for implementing such a simulator is also presented.

Engineering Education in Ireland: the past and the future

In Ireland, content and level of engineering courses have in the past been influenced by views of professional institutions. Demands of industry are leading to provision of a wide range of courses at different levels with closer contact with industry, not all of which meet the requirements of professional institutions; the major increase in courses has been at sub-degree level.     

画法几何与工程制图课程教学改革研究

随着计算机技术的介入,手工制图逐渐淡出图学舞台。但绘图理论作为画法几何与工程制图课程的核心内容为许多工科专业的课程奠定坚实的基础。在当前新工科建设及工程专业认证两大政策导向下,如何在有限的课时内改革制图课程,使之更能向培养新工科应用型人才方向迈进,是授课教师亟待思考的重要问题。

Use of Advanced Technology Videotapes in the Delivery of Structural Engineering Courses

A teaching and learning development project is currently under way at Queens-land University of Technology to develop advanced technology videotapes for use with the delivery of structural engineering courses. These tapes consist of integrated computer and laboratory simulations of important concepts, and behaviour of structures and their components for a number of structural engineering subjects. They will be used as part of the regular lectures and thus will not only improve the quality of lectures and learning environment, but also will be able to replace the ever-dwindling laboratory teaching in these subjects. The use of these videotapes, developed using advanced computer graphics, data visualization and video technologies, will enrich the learning process of the current diverse engineering student body. This paper presents the details of this new method, the methodology used, the results and evaluation in relation to one of the structural engineering subjects, steel structures.     

Video‐tape Courses‐‐Open/Distance Learning: information technology here and now

The production of video‐taped courses at postgraduate level and their use by industry in the United States of America has been increasing rapidly over the past decade. This paper gives some indication of the time‐scale, magnitude, and attractive features of this development, a comparison with the development of educational television in UK universities, and an assessment of the future for this form of open/distance learning.     

金融服务科技产业发展与职场需求探讨

在全球金融市场自由化与国际化的潮流下,金融服务科技产业急速发展,而相对应于职场职能需求的质、量要求更形迫切。如何能有效避免大学教育人才供给与企业实务需求间的落差,是为职业教育发展的重要议题。以金融服务科技产业为例,深入探讨学校的职前教育如何结合理论知识与实务应用,透由深度访谈的方式了解业界需求的要素,并进一步寻求在学期间的课程供给要素,缩短学用不符的落差,进而增加毕业生的就业竞争力,研究发现专业证照、业界实习的历练与人格特质的养成等皆为金融服务科技产业重视的培育目标,可提供金融服务科技之职业教育课程发展政策的参考依据。     

A practical approach for applying online remote experiments: OnPReX

The development of Internet technologies stimulates the increase of online technology-supported education in universities. Online learning based on remote experiments is capable of diminishing the scantiness in practical courses. In this paper, we present online practical courses based on remote experiments (OnPReX). These courses consist of online experiments, interactive graphics and an online tutoring-system organised at the Berlin Institute of Technology (TUB). We developed two online practical courses, one focusing on classical and the other on modern physics, for bachelor and intermediate diploma engineering students. Our online practical courses based on remote experiments took place in two test phases during two semesters. These courses were evaluated and the results were used to improve the courses. Our online practical courses on remote experiments have successfully been integrated as electives at the TUB.
