Understanding the Adoption of TELEs — The Importance of Management

For a TELE to become adopted by the vast majority of individual learners as a tool for learning, adoption at the institutional level must be considered, because the vast majority of a population of technology users depends on external stimuli to adopt the technology. This article analyses a case where a social simulation game, a prize-winning e-learning product, which is based on theory of, and dedicated to, self-regulated learning – in other words, a product predestined to succeed in supporting self-regulated learning – was implemented for training in academic information literacy. Applying a systemic, Bateson-inspired, understanding of learning and based on data from observation, qualitative interviews, and surveys, a number of barriers to adoption at the organisational level are identified, all requiring management initiatives if the application is to fully unfold its potential.

为了解决大量媒体资源管理和充分利用的问题,通过构建媒体资源管理系统,实现对这些资源的完好保存、全面管理和充分利用。结合高校媒体资源管理的现状,分析了媒体资源管理系统在高校中的重要作用。结果表明,加强高等院校媒体资源管理,提高媒体资源利用率,对教育、教学具有重大意义。     

合作教师教育模式的运用——一条更加贴近现实的途径

介绍了挪威科技大学教师教育系和实习学校之间进行的合作教师教育模式,并探讨了这一模式能否实现“贴近现实的教师教育”这种理念。探讨了该模式是否给学生提供了名副其实的教学相长的机会,是否增加了学生与各个合作者交流的机会,从而使学习成为社会的、互动的过程。最后,审视了该模式是否给学生提供了提高反思能力的机会并促进了实习教师的专业发展。     

发展社会化公共支持服务构建全民终身学习平台——广播电视大学的功能拓展与探索空间

建设远程教育公共服务体系是国家实施现代远程教育工程的重要组成部分,也是广播电视大学发展战略的重要组成部分。自2001年以来,教育部主要依托广播电视大学,对发展社会化的远程教育公共支持服务进行了多方面的探索。在这一过程中,中央电大公共服务体系建设取得了较大进展,率先建成了国家级远程教育公共服务体系、推进了数字化学习港的建设及应用示范、开展了数字化学习示范中心的建设,在电大功能拓展方面进行了开创性的实践探索。中央电大公共服务体系建设的实践,在社会化公共支持服务新模式、新机制和新领域的探索方面取得了一系列重要成果。远程教育公共服务体系未来会有更加强大的生命力和更加广阔的发展前景,同时将面临各种挑战,只有在实践中不断发现问题、提出问题、研究问题和探求问题的解决方案,才可能在建设学习型社会中发挥应有的作用。     

The Impact of Internet Virtual Physics Laboratory Instruction on the Achievement in Physics, Science Process Skills and Computer Attitudes of 10th-Grade Students

The purpose of this study was to investigate and compare the impact of Internet Virtual Physics Laboratory (IVPL) instruction with traditional laboratory instruction in physics academic achievement, performance of science process skills, and computer attitudes of tenth grade students. One-hundred and fifty students from four classes at one private senior high school in Taoyuan Country, Taiwan, R.O.C. were sampled. All four classes contained 75 students who were equally divided into an experimental group and a control group. The pre-test results indicated that the students’ entry-level physics academic achievement, science process skills, and computer attitudes were equal for both groups. On the post-test, the experimental group achieved significantly higher mean scores in physics academic achievement and science process skills. There was no significant difference in computer attitudes between the groups. We concluded that the IVPL had potential to help tenth graders improve their physics academic achievement and science process skills.     

No student left behind: a collaborative and competitive game-based learning environment to reduce the achievement gap of EFL students in Taiwan

How to close the achievement gap in the classroom so that no student is left behind becomes one of the most important issues nowadays. This study aims to construct a collaborative and competitive game-based learning environment to improve English proficiencies and reduce the achievement gap for disadvantaged students. The Wireless Crossword Fan-Tan Game (WiCFG) system was implemented to provide teachers with an innovative approach to guide students’ learning through a positive involvement with the uses of tablet PCs. The experiment was conducted in an elementary school in Taiwan to investigate whether this approach would facilitate students’ learning effectiveness and interactions. Thirty sixth-grade students were randomly assigned into a control group and an experimental group. Both qualitative and quantitative data were collected from surveys, interviews, observations and video-recordings. The results indicate that integration of the WiCFG system in the collaborative and competitive game-based learning environment leads students to a better interaction between different levels of students. This innovative approach might have the potential to close the achievement gap for disadvantaged students. Moreover, some principles of the classroom strategy are suggested as guidelines.

课程资源的开发利用是新课程目标顺利达成的必要条件;教师开发利用意识不强和能力的制约,是制约课程资源开发利用的瓶颈;加强有效的师资培训是课程资源开发利用的关键所在;走进社区资源、广泛利用软件、网络资源、再度开发教材资源、积极捕捉“师生互动”中的生成资源,是《历史与社会》课程资源开发和利用的重要途径。

高校教师管理体系的市场化是突出以满足社会需求为目的,以优化师资配置为依据的一种教师管理体系的改革,相对于现有的高校教师管理体系而言,教师管理的市场化运作在管理模式、教师来源、师资结构、教师评价等方面都有其鲜明的特点,在运作过程中能更加充分体现教育为社会发展服务的宗旨。

江西省孤独症儿童社会支持体系构建的研究

孤独症是一种广泛发展障碍性疾病,其主要特点是社会功能障碍、人际交流障碍、行为和兴趣刻板,是严重危害儿童身心健康,并影响家庭、社会功能的一种新型疾病。国内外经验提示,对抗孤独症,仅仅靠孤独症患者及其家庭努力远远不够,必须要有政府和社会各方面的参与和重视,并尽快构建有效的社会支持体系。在广泛调查分析基础上,结合江西省实际情况,提出了孤独症儿童社会支持体系构建的策略和方法,首次提出"孤独症儿童三级立体式社会支持体系模型",这一开创性研究成果对孤独症康复事业的发展有积极的理论、实践和政策参考意义。

本结合读需求观念的更新给高校图书馆的信息资源带来的影响,分析了网络环境下高校图书馆信息资源的开发与利用,阐述了高校图书馆信息资源开发利用存在的问题及对策。     

学习资源使用情况的调查与分析--以呼伦贝尔广播电视大学为例

学习资源的开发和有效利用是保证远程教育质量的基础和关键,笔者通过对呼伦贝尔广播电视大学学生使用学习资源情况的个案调查,在数据统计的基础上,描述了该校部分专业学生对远程学习资源的使用情况,分析了其中存在的主要问题,并提出了改进的建议。     

动态环境中项目管理组织资本效率的提升

由于项目本身的特点,决定了项目实施过程中组织管理的特殊性。在一般项目管理组织研究中仅涉及组织结构设计、结构模式的选择及人力资源等传统方面,而忽视组织资本项目管理在组织中的作用。本文通过对组织资本的概念界定及其特征的分析,从新的视角探讨在组织结构优化条件下,对项目组织资源进行整合以达到项目组织资本效率提升的目的。     

开放大学进程中信息服务管理系统的创建

利用多种新媒介,创新教学支持服务的手段,为学习者提供方便、灵活、个性化的学习条件是创建开放大学的目的和责任。绍兴广播电视大学对助学服务的途径和载体进行了有益探索,开发应用了信息服务管理系统和移动学习终端,提升了教学支持服务水平。     

ICT for education: a conceptual framework for the sustainable adoption of technology-enhanced learning environments in schools

The paper presents an evaluation of student and tutor experiences in the introductory module of a European Masters programme in e‐Learning, Multimedia and Consultancy. The aims and outline of the Masters programme are described, together with the pedagogical approach adopted in the introductory module which explores open and flexible learning environments with students and tutors from four European countries. The second part of the paper evaluates the success of the teaching and learning that occurred in this unit, from the perspective of both the students and tutors. Data collected include student and tutor written evaluations, reflections on the authors’ own roles in the programme, and analysis of the products contained in the environment. The paper concludes by detailing future developments in the Masters programme that have been influenced by this cycle of evaluation.     

Cutting the Distance in Distance Education: Reflections on the Use of E-Technologies in a New Zealand Social Work Program

ABSTRACT

The development of new e-technologies and an increased focus on developing distance social work education programs has created the impetus for social work educators to consider the tools they can employ in delivering distance courses. This article reflects on an action learning research project involving the development of an online toolbox of e-technologies to support social work educators in the delivery of distance courses. It highlights the opportunities and challenges when considering the integration of e-technologies as part of social work education.     

学分制背景下大学生教育管理新模式探讨

近年来我国大部分高校实行了学分制教学管理制度改革。本文分析了学分制的实施对高校学生教育管理工作提出的诸多挑战,并在总结和借鉴西方发达国家大学管理经验的基础上,提出了我国高校学生教育管理工作应当采取的新模式。
