论梁漱溟的文化哲学基础

梁漱溟以其深邃的思维和洞察能力,对东西方文化进行比较研究,认为"文化"就是人类"生活的样法",而"生活"乃"事的相续"、"生命的绵延",按照"意欲"指向的不同,把世界文化分为中、西、印三种不同的发展模式.梁漱溟用佛学唯识学的哲学思想来会通儒家传统的中庸思想,开创了现代新儒学,提出复兴传统儒学,维护民族文化的主体地位和自尊精神,引发了沸沸扬扬的复兴儒学、复兴孔孟之道的热潮.对中国当代社会产生了深远的影响.

20世纪90年代到21世纪初,中国分别掀起了两次儒学复兴浪潮.而鲁迅"反传统"的核心是激烈批判以儒家文化为中心的传统思想,因此在儒学复兴浪潮中,鲁迅所代表的"五四"价值系统就被置于"缺席"审判位置,两种价值系统由此形成一种对抗关系.在当今多元价值标准的"全球化"时代,儒学和鲁学虽然属于不同的价值体系,但在某些问题上却有一致的认识,两者可以互相借鉴,多元共存.     

关于《评“儒学复兴”》的评论——与谢遐龄先生商兑

谢遐龄先生在《复旦大学学报》(1993年第3期)上发表题为《评“儒学复兴”》一文,从儒学与现代化、儒学与中国传统文化以及中国文化与西方世界诸关系进行了探讨,其中一些论断颇有见地。但是,对于他的某些看法,本人尚不敢苟同,故笔谈如次。     

从“于丹现象”看中国传统文化的复兴

就梁启超对儒学与西方科学的态度而言,早期梁启超持"儒学本位"主义立场,认为治天下当以儒学为主,以科学为辅;中期梁启超持"科学万能"主义态度,崇尚科学并站在科学的立场来评判儒学;后期梁启超在经过多年的反思与沉淀之后,逐渐意识到了二者的界限,认为儒学以人生问题为旨趣而科学以客观知识为归宿,二者不可相互取代。梁启超对儒学与西方科学的态度及其演变轨迹,不仅深刻地反映了晚清思想界在中西比较领域的理论走向,同时也深刻地启发了后人在这个问题上的进一步思考。在儒学复兴深入人心的今天,这样的思考同样具有重要意义。

宋代服饰文化明显地体现出一种儒雅化的倾向,具体表现为对文质彬彬的文人风度的推崇,对平淡简朴却又自然闲适的审美格调的追求,对含蓄温雅的传统礼仪风范的注重。形成这种服饰文化特点虽然与宋代创立的理学有一定的关系,但更主要的原因是在理学从萌蘖到形成这一漫长的过程中宋代社会在政治领域、宗教领域和社会文化领域所采取的一系列重要策略,即右文抑武的政治策略,三教兼容的宗教策略,复兴儒学、重整礼纲的文化策略。右文抑武的政治策略使得全社会都推崇儒雅的文人风度;三教兼容的宗教策略使得宋代文人士大夫能超然对待人生的得失荣辱,在服饰上追求平淡闲适而又意蕴深刻的情趣韵味;复兴儒学、重建礼纲的文化策略又促使宋代人们以"礼"为准绳,要求服饰符合传统礼仪规范。     

评《中国大陆复兴儒学的现实意义及其面临的问题》

进人叨年代以后,文化思想界继80年代的"文化热"之后出现了"话语转换",这种被转换了的'法语"的基调之一就是"复兴儒学"。其实,早在1989年,大陆一位论者就发表了一篇"复兴儒学"的"宣言",即《中国大陆复兴儒学的现实意义及其面临的问题》（《鹅湖》第15卷第2、3期）。这篇"宣言"虽然登在台湾省的刊物上,但在祖国大陆却产生了一定范围的影响,90M大陆"复兴儒学"思潮的意旨所归与"宣言"的精神具有相通之处。鉴于这篇"宣言"发表8年来一直没有得到应有的公开回应,尤其没有得到不同观点的公开回答,在当下"复兴儒学"思潮有进一步蔓延的背景…

The Reader Response Approach to Teaching of English Literature

During interview with English majors, it was found that a majority of students expressed disappointment with their experience of English literature classes. Students' dislike of learning English literature appears to be the major problem of teaching English literature in China. Reader response approach is a good way to solve this problem. In this paper, I explain the rationale behind the reader response approach, such as its origin, definition, features, assumptions, and strategies. Then I illustrate how reader response approach works as a teaching strategy by presenting several teaching models. At last I evaluate its usefuiness for teachers and present the advantages of reader response approach in Chinese context.
