以新一轮教育改革为契机，经过不懈的努力和探索，把信息技术作为辅助教学的手段转变为学生学习的方式，发挥信息技术在学生自主学习、主动探究、合作交流等方面的优势，充分发挥学生个性特征，提高教学效率，提高学生的网络素质。因此，建构网络环境下自主学习、合作学习、探究学习等新的学习方式，是我们当代教师所要探索的一个新的课题。     

如何培养学生良好的学英语习惯

英语教学除培养学生语言素质、文化素质之外，还必须指导学生掌握正确的学习英语的方法，开发学生学习潜能，帮助学生养成良好的学习习惯，培养他们自学英语的能力，为他们走出学校后继续学习英语打好基础。因此，教师必须积极研究探索科学的的学好英语的学习方法。要使学法指导进行有效，必须培养学生良好的学习习惯。良好的学习习惯是学生掌握有效学习方法的前提条件和必要保证。培养学生良好学习习惯可从以下几方面做起：

Prenatal Predictors of Postnatal Quality of Caregiving Behavior in Mothers and Fathers

SYNOPSIS

Objective. The quality of parental caregiving has been shown to affect children’s development from birth onward. Therefore, it is important to detect parents at risk for low-quality caregiving as early as possible – preferably before birth. Design. Observations of expectant mothers’ and fathers’ behavior when exposed to infant crying were examined as predictors of the quality of caregiving toward their own infant 6 weeks postpartum. Eighty-eight expectant mothers and 57 of their male partners were tested during the third trimester of pregnancy. Parents were filmed individually while caring for a crying Simulator Infant for 15 min; the quality of their caregiving was rated on sensitivity and cooperation. Also, cognitive interference on a working memory task and the ability to regulate physical force when exposed to infant crying were assessed. When their baby was 6 weeks old, parents were filmed and rated for sensitivity and cooperation during a 15-min interaction with their own infant at home. Results. Prenatal quality of caregiving behavior toward a simulator infant predicted postnatal quality of caregiving toward the own infant in both mothers and fathers. Cognitive interference and the ability to regulate physical force did not predict postnatal quality of caregiving behavior. Conclusions. Expectant parents’ quality of caregiving behavior toward a crying simulator infant predicted both mothers’ and fathers’ postnatal quality of caregiving behavior. Future research is needed to determine whether the simulator infant may be a useful screening instrument and training tool for parenting skills in at risk groups of parents-to-be.     

泉州市公务员心理素质现状、问题及对策

采用16PF问卷对泉州市两百多名公务员进行调查,研究显示：泉州市公务员心理素质的整体水平优于一般人群;心理素质符合他们的岗位需求,但也存在差异;心理健康状况不容乐观;心理素质在有恒性等因素上得分不高。因此,对泉州市公务员应通过加强心理健康教育、增强心理耐受能力,做好心理危机干预和心理健康筛选。     

Factors associated with middle school students' perceptions of the quality of school-based sexual health education

This paper examines factors associated with middle school students' perceptions of the quality of the sexual health education (SHE) they received at school. Participants were 478 predominately White young people (256 girls, 222 boys) in grades 6–8 who completed a survey assessing their demographic characteristics; dating and sexual experience; and perceptions of the content, delivery and quality of the SHE they had received. Boys and students in a lower grade and with less sexual experience rated the quality of their SHE more positively. After accounting for student characteristics, students who more strongly agreed that their SHE matched their interests and covered sexual health topics more adequately, as well as who viewed their teacher as being more comfortable talking about sexual topics and doing a better job answering questions, reported higher quality SHE. Students' perceptions of the adequacy of coverage of 10 sexual health topics were also positively correlated with their reports of higher quality SHE, although only two topics (correct names for genitals and puberty/physical development) contributed uniquely to the prediction of this variable. These results reinforce the need for a comprehensive SHE curriculum as well as adequate preparation of teachers if SHE is to be engaging to students.

大学生身体、学业、心理、人格之比较研究

通过对大学生身体素质与学业成绩，心理健康，人格类型的比较研究表明：普通大学生群体中身体素质水平的高低与学业成绩关系紧密，身体素质水平的发展有利于改善学生心理健康水平，身体素质水平的提高对人格类型形成产生影响。

高校图书采购人员综合素质提升探讨

高校图书采购人员应该具备的综合素质主要包括良好的思想道德素质、全面的采购业务素质和先进的图书采购理念。近几年由于高校扩招和教学评估的需要,图书采购人员在短时间内大幅增加,导致其整体综合素质有所下降,主要表现在：思想道德素质参差不齐、采购业务素质有待提高、图书采购理念需要更新。高校图书馆应从加强图书采购人员的岗前培训、继续教育、团队学习、业务竞赛、对外交流等方面入手,切实提高图书采购人员的综合素质。     

Hellos and How Are Yous: Predictors and Correlates of Communication Between Staff and Families During Morning Drop-Off in Child Care Centers

Research Findings: The amount and quality of communication between staff and guardians in child care centers was examined using extensive naturalistic observations. Interactions between staff and more than 1,000 guardians who dropped their child off at their child care center were captured through a series of 20-s time-sampled observations. Structural quality indicators (ratios, staff education, etc.) were used to predict communication. Associations between staff–guardian communication and other aspects of quality were also examined. Results: Guardians spent an average of 63 s in their child's classroom during morning drop-off. Communication between staff and parents was limited, with staff providing child-related information to or soliciting it from approximately 15% of guardians. Out of several structural quality indicators, only greater professional development hours among staff in a classroom increased the likelihood of staff providing guardians with information about the program. Drop-off communication between staff and guardians and between staff and children was somewhat related to other measures of process quality. Practice or Policy: Results are discussed in terms of the importance of connecting families and centers, implications for rating center quality, and the accuracy of the drop-off period as parents’ lens into the quality of their child's classroom.     

Structural model of relations among quality,satisfaction, and recommending behavior in lodging decisions

A structural model is developed and tested that relates customers' perceptions of how well lodging properties perform on multiple dimensions to customers' perceptions of lodging quality, their satisfaction with the lodging experience, and their willingness to provide positive word of mouth (WOM). Results suggest that customers' intentions to provide positive WOM primarily are a function of their perceptions of the overall quality of the property, rather than their expressed level of satisfaction with the stay.
