周敦颐"诚"的道德观及其现代转化

“诚”、“诚信”,当今社会焦点话题之一.这一话题从一个侧面反映国人对诚信道德价值的强烈需求,也是现代社会诚信伦理现实资源匮乏的道德症候.文章立论于周敦颐“诚”的道德观,论述其原本意义、“诚”之内涵、“诚”之最高境界、“诚”之修炼等.而周子“诚”的道德观难以直接应用于当今“诚信”伦理社会,需要作番理性的审视和剖析,进行现代转化及扩展,即：从传统的“熟人社会”的“民规信用”,转到现代市场经济的“社会信用体系”上来;从儒学传统“信不及利”,转到现代市场经济伦理的“平等求利”上来;从传统重于个人的、内在的“心性诚信”,转到现代重于社会的、内外匹配的“责任诚信”上来;从自然经济状态中的“人格诚信”,转到市场经济条件下的“契约诚信”上来.如此,为现代社会诚信伦理的构建,提供理论思考和实践路径.
