With the further deepening of the reform of English Teaching in university,how to use the time in English classroom effectively to create a good English learning atmoshphere in which students can understand what they hear,can express themselves and desire to talk in English has become a key issue in the reform.It determines whether the reform can contiue.This paper focuses on the application of body language in college English teaching and will analyse its role of promotion in English classroom,then discuss about how to make full use of body language to improve college English teaching.     

Creating an English Environment to Foster the Students’ Ability in Communicating

An oral English teacher also has to correct students’language errors while ensuring the smooth progress of the classroom teaching. Only when an oral English teacher make clear what roles he or she has to take in the classroom can he or she achieve effective teaching.     

A Brief Study On Uyghur Teachers’ Code-switching In English Classroom

Generally speaking,code-switching is a common phenomenon in language contact,both in bilingual and multilingual environment.It refers to circumstances in which a speaker uses two or more than two language varieties.Teacher code-switching,is a quite common occurrence in English classrooms.This study intends to investigate into Uyghur teachers’ code-switching in English classrooms.This research concludes that the teachers’ code-switching plays a complementary and facilitative part in English classrooms.It is necessary to switch from English to Chinese,English to Uyghur to explain grammar and usage of words,and classroom management.     

Literature Review of Oral English Teaching

Under the present situations in China, more and more graduates with higher proficiency in oral English are required. However, the author learned that students in most universities are lack of this ability. It’s the urgent task for college English teachers to help students improve their oral English to the required level. The Application of Game Teaching Method in Spoken English Teaching in Primary School

Improving Oral English in Break Time in Junior High School

Euphemism can be regarded as a universal phenomenon in human language.It is also an important linguistic strategy in communication.English and Chinese euphemisms usually have a shared topic,such as death,disease and sex.Therefore,to some degree,English and Chinese euphemisms share some common features.However,owing to the different social and cultural background,English and Chinese euphemisms still have much difference between each other.This paper is to take some typical examples in both English and Chinese to compare euphemisms in the two languages,and try to probe some strategies about how to improve the translation of euphemisms between English and Chinese.
