历史文化视野中的西汉散文研究－－《西汉散文的文化阐释》简评

人们往往以“诗的国度”来赞誉和强调诗歌在中国古代文学中的重要地位，实际上，散文这种文学样式在中国古代文学中的地位一点也不亚于诗歌。较之诗歌而言，其产生时间更早，使用范围更广，实用价值更大。然而在我国古代文学研究中，有关古代散文的研究著作与有关古代诗歌的研究著作相比，数量要少得多，从一定程度上显示上了现代学术界重“诗”轻“文”的倾向。显然，这种情况与中国古代散文在文学史上的实际地位是很不相称的。     

现代散文“理论建设”的回顾与反思

以“中国新文学大系”的通常分期,按三个不同的历史时期,系统、概括又具体、详尽地梳理并缕述了现代散文“理论建设”的实在进展,对其成就及问题做了实事求是的回顾和反思,对其中有重要贡献的作家和有代表性的重要文献;进行了撮要的介绍和精简的评价,最后在“简短结语”中提出三点思考意见：第一,“范畴论”问题,未能彻底厘清,从而留下严重后患;第二,因为散文范畴的泛化,散文的特征论、创作论、批评与鉴赏论等均无从着手;第三,中国古代散文和外国散文均是文类而不是文体,完成散文文体的净化应勇敢走自己的路。     

再论:“散文情感”——“大散文”情感批判

根据散文文本特性，应将“散文情感”这一概念纳入散文理论家和批评家的视野，并将其运用于当今散文批评，以此为切入点，对当今流行的“大散文”口号及创作进行情感批判，可见出这是中国散文家潜意识中由来已久的“恋大”心理的反映，是散文情感的“泛意识形态化”，散文创作观念要更新，散文家务必要自觉甄别和确定自己的情感定位和取向，抒发一种以现代意识为底色的“人”的情感。
