With China's all-round social development,especially entering the 21century,the social economy,science and technology and also the language changes are in a fast speed.Particularly,the growth of the Chinese-specific new words is much faster than any other periods.Along with the intercultural communication,the English translation of Chinese-specific new words has become a new research focus.Firstly,the paper is to introduce the growth background of the new lexical words,and then gives a definition and classifies them into the specific fields,after that the paper will discuss the two translation strategies-domestication and foreignization in translating the Chinese-specific new words to English.Comparing the strengthens and shortcomings of the two strategies,the paper draws a conclusion—regard the two translation strategies in a dialectical way.     

A Stylistic Perspective on Translation of Reduplicated Words in Classical Chinese Poetry

Chinese poetry has a very long and remarkable history.It is one of the most important representatives of China’s ancient civilization of 5000 years.Chinese poetry utilizes quite a large number of methods in order to be more melodious and charming.Reduplicated words,as a figure of speech,are one of the most frequently used form among them.Reduplicated words as an active rhetorical device can add more flavor and taste to poems.They have the advantages of expressing the stylistic beauty effectively in form,sound and sense,thus push the article to its topmost aesthetic beauty.This paper,from a stylistic perspective,first discusses and argues the translatability of reduplicated words and then the importance to maintain the style of reduplicated words.After that it tries hard to put forward some favorable ways of dealing with the translation of reduplicated words so that reduplicated words in classical Chinese poetry can be appropriately translated without damage to the original style and flavor.     

The Study of the Culture Infiltration From Perspective of Etymology

By analyzing Chinese and English loan words,this paper first points out that the extent of infiltration of both languages in terms of linguistics and culture.English loan words have great effect on Chinese culturally,linguistically and semantically.Many English words reflect in the latest technological and cultural development are borrowed by Chinese vocabulary.Tracing these words back in the Etymology way,we can find the influence brought by the English language culture to Chinese language culture.From another aspect,through analyzing words borrowed from Chinese in form in recent years,which are listed as new words in English dictionaries,and through exploring the Chinese tradition and culture these loan words mainly based on,this paper reflects that Chinese culture has affected English culture to a certain degree.With the rapid development of cultural communication,words borrowed are increasing and will be gradually included within the given standards.Finally the paper presents a discussion on the mutual influence of loan words and culture infiltration.
