态度决定历史：后现代状况下的历史学

人们普遍把后现代主义视为一种学术思潮,从学术思想的脉络上看,它是近代欧洲历史主义思想的延续。在人们关注后现代主义产生的学术史渊源之余,它作为一种现实政治与日常生活实践的产物,还需要我们进一步理解和说明。后现代主义提供的不仅仅是一种学术思想,更是一种观察世界的眼光,一种对待生活的态度和一种对人性的新的认识。它倡导一种平等和宽容的精神,以这种精神来看待历史写作,传统历史学的基本元素在后现代史学的框架内都能获得新的定位。判断一部历史作品是否是后现代主义史学作品的关键不在于它是否强调了历史是建构的产物,而在于历史表现者通过这样一部作品是否能够传达那种平等和宽容的后现代精神。
