认知心理学理论在口译教学记忆训练中的应用

口译工作是一个复杂的信息处理过程.口译工作中.译员需要即时、准确地把摄取的原语信息转达给目的语听众.记忆能力是译员口译成功与否的重要因素之一.因此,应根据认知心理学的理论基础,探讨如何在口译教学中培养学生的记忆能力.帮助他们出色地完成口译任务.

认知记忆是口译复杂信息加工和处理的一个重要因素,对口译实践效果具有重要影响。记忆能力与口译活动的相互作用与影响,不仅有利于提高实际口译效果,而且促进了口译教学与训练的改革与完善。

浅谈口译训练中的记忆训练

许多人经常把口译技巧训练等同于记笔记训练。然而,从对吉尔的口译模式分析中可以看出,记忆力,尤其是短时记忆,是口译成功的关键。因此,口译技巧训练的第一步应该是记忆训练。结合短时记忆的特点,可以总结出三种有效的记忆训练方法,即逻辑整理练习、复述练习和影子跟读练习。     

Cognitive Methods in Counselor Training

With the renewed interest in the role of cognition in counselor training, numerous studies examining this phenomenon have emerged. This article reviews existing literature relevant to cognitive issues in training. The effects of various cognitive attributes such as conceptual level and cognitive style are discussed. Similarly, the impact of various cognitive training strategies on trainee performance are examined, such as modification of trainee cognitions to enhance skill generalization and cognitive restructuring techniques to alter maladaptive cognitions of trainees. In addition, methodological issues that have served to limit research activity are addressed. Brief recommendations are offered for future research and training efforts.

Effects of Restructuring Training and Cognitive Style

Herman Witkin's research in differentiation theory proposed a conceptual framework describing the cognitive style known as field dependence‐independence. The operational measures of this construct are restructuring skills and interpersonal competencies, and were originally conceived to be fixed in an individual. A recent reconceptual‐isation, however, suggested that there may be some malleability in learning strategies that flow from cognitive style. Learners predisposed to field dependence might gain access to restructuring skills brought to problem‐solving situations by field independents. This study undertook to examine the effects and practicability of restructuring training as a means of addressing individual learner differences. Field independent subjects significantly out‐scored field‐dependent subjects on all three test tasks in the control group. Experimental group field independents did not significantly outscore experimental field dependents. Training enhanced field dependent subject performance on two dependent measures tasks. There was interaction across treatment and field dependence on all three dependent measures.     

A Study of Cognitive Characters and Cognitive Strategy Training of Learning Disabilities

The article analyzes the matter of cognition of learning disabilities, and tries to explore the characters of learning disabilities＇ cognitive process. On the basis of mainstream cognitive strategy training, the problems that should be noticed in the process of learning disabilities＇ cognitive strategy training are discussed.

运用元认知策略,提高自主学习能力

培养学习者自主学习能力是大学英语教学的重要目标之一,而元认知策略是培养学习者自主学习能力的关键。本文简要介绍了元认知理论与自主学习理论,并对两者的关系进行了阐述,进而对元认知策略培训的有效性进行了研究,最后,提出了元认知策略培训的具体方法。     

Training Planning and Working Memory in Third Graders

Working memory and planning are fundamental cognitive skills supporting fluid reasoning. We show that 2 games that train working memory and planning skills in school‐aged children promote transfer to 2 different tasks: an attentional test and a fluid reasoning test. We also show long‐term improvement of planning and memory capacities in 8‐year‐old children after playing adaptive computer games specifically tailored to entrain these cognitive functions. Working memory capacity expanded from 5 to 7 items by using our games. Furthermore, steady progression in the task indicates that this capacity can be trained rapidly. Planning abilities persisted in a nonmarkovian form of play, where a move is highly influenced by previous moves, avoiding back‐ups. Here, we introduce a public and growing platform ( http://www.matemarote.com.ar/ ) developed for this research which has the potential for wide use in educational research.
