Research on the Mistakes Made by College English Teachers in Pronunciation of /n/&/l/

As an old saying goes that“once you open mouth, you are decided”. Thus, there is no doubt about the fact that English pronunciation is of great importance, especially for English teachers whose pronunciation exerts far-reaching and direct influences on that of students. Some of College English teachers, however, have poor pronunciation; most of them cannot distinguish/n/ from /l/. Therefore, it is of huge practical value to commit to the research on the mistakes made by College English teachers in pronunciation of /n/ &/l/ and analyze the underlying causes in the hope of helping teachers to improve their poor pronunciation.     

A feminist posthumanist ecopedagogy in/for/with animalScapes

ABSTRACT

Extending and challenging Arun Appadurai's anthropocentric “scapes,” this article converses with feminist posthumanism, ecofeminism, and the political ecology of education to develop a more-than-human ecopedagogy in/for/with animalScapes. After outlining the article's theoretical framework, I briefly discuss the research cases informing ecopedagogies in/for/with animalScapes, each of which attends to embodiment, affect, and emotion, as well as the salience of political ecological/economic contexts. To conclude, I discuss the empirical and conceptual/theoretical limitations of this ecopedagogy, tentatively exploring how some of these limitations might be partially surpassed in practice, as well as in environmental education research tasking itself with decentering the human.

Bi/Multiracial Maori Women's Hybridity in Aotearoa/New Zealand

This paper examines the exclusion of bi/multiracial Maori women from dominant representations of Maori women's identity and engages with a new articulation of Maori women's difference through a narrative of cultural hybridity. Through a study of key texts on the history of New Zealand and dominant articulations describing Maori nationalists’ efforts to invoke equality for Maori during the 1970s and 1980s, I exemplify how an essentialist Maori women's identity was promoted within Maori nationalist appeals to bicultural nationalism. I argue that current articulations of Maori women's identity do not include an analysis of race, gender, and class, nor the way they operate simultaneously to position the bi-multi racial woman discursively in the nation today. Twenty women who position themselves as bi/multiracial were interviewed and their stories show how the raced and gendered body must be reinstated within articulations of Maori women's identity through situating corporeal difference within discussions on their subjectivity and related marginalization.

我读过不少书，但若是问我其中的详细情节、人名之类，多半我是记不得的。我很少刻意去记某部作家作品中的某某人，实在没有多大意思。读一本书能够真正读懂作者的思想，我想那才叫做是会读书的。当然，我这里讲的思想与学生学教科书中归纳中心思想是有区别的，我所讲的思想其实就是自己所体味到的作者的一种人生观、价值观，这是读者自己所感悟出来的，     

圆柱形GaAs/Al_xGa_(1-x)As量子环中类氢施主杂质态的电场效应

在有效质量近似理论下,利用变分法研究了外电场下圆柱形GaAs/Al_xGa_(1-x)As量子环中类氢施主杂质束缚能。讨论了施主杂质束缚能与量子环尺寸(径向厚度、高度)、杂质位置以及外电场间的变化规律。结果表明:随着量子环径向厚度(高度)的增大,中心施主杂质束缚能先增大后减小,显示有一极大值;施加的电场明显地改变了量子环中电子波函数的分布,导致施主杂质束缚能相应的改变;施主杂质束缚能随杂质位置的变化呈现出规律性。     

Preparation of Cu/ZnO/Al2O3 catalysts in a solvent-free routine for CO hydrogenation

The synthesis of methanol and dimethyl ether (DME) from CO hydrogenation has been investigated on Cu-based catalysts. A series of Cu/ZnO/Al₂O₃ catalysts were prepared using a solvent-free routine which involved a direct blend of copper/zinc/aluminum salts and citric acid, followed by calcination at 450 °C. The calcination processes were monitored using thermogravimetry differential scanning calorimetry (TG-DSC). Catalysts were further characterized using N₂ adsorption, scanning electronic microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), N₂O oxidation followed by H₂ titration, and temperature-programmed reduction with H₂ (H₂-TPR). The reduction processes were also monitored with in-situ XRD. The physicochemical properties of catalysts depended strongly on the types of precursor salts, and catalysts prepared using Al acetate and Cu nitrate as starting materials had a larger surface area, larger exposed metallic copper surface area, and lower reduction temperature. The CO hydrogenation performances of these catalysts were compared and discussed in terms of their structures. Catalysts prepared with copper nitrate, zinc and aluminum acetates exhibited the highest catalytic activity.
