西方现代性与中国现代随笔的话语建构

中国现代随笔的话语建构,离不开国外现代文艺思潮和现代随笔理论的影响,这典型地表现在中国现代知识者接受西方现代性的批判观念,从而将社会启蒙、社会变革、人生改造统一到随笔的创作中去。与传统随笔比较,中国现代随笔出现了在西方现代性特征影响下前所未有的新美学特质。其表现为:其一,兴之所至,任心闲话。西方现代随笔标举的“闲话”境界极具美学意味,在中国现代知识者笔下就是“我手写我口”,将随笔创作视为谈天说地、率意随心、恣意创作的一种体现。其二,个性精神,人格色彩。中国现代知识者在挣脱封建樊篱而获得西方现代性特征后,就将随笔创作视为强化个人感情色彩,突出批判意识的一种自由文类。其三,信笔涂鸦与雕心刻骨。现代随笔是“表面”的“平常”与“苦心雕刻的妙笔”的结合,同样也能达到“美文”的境界。     

话语权的转移：从文言到白话

中国文学语言从文言到白话的转换,不仅仅是一个单纯的语言问题,它还涉及到了支撑语言的整个话语系统从传统向现代的转换。白话取代文言,是具有现代性的启蒙话语体系取代传统的伦常纲纪话语体系的过程,同时也是现代知识分子取得话语权,建立现代知识体系的过程。     

Time past: impacts of ICT on the pedagogic discourse in the Interactive project

The ‘pedagogic discourse’ can describe the power relations and fields of influence within schools. This article extends the approach to include ICT-mediated learning in schools by considering evidence from the InterActive project, undertaken by the University of Bristol, England, in 2000–04. The article also considers how the pedagogic discourse can complement post-Vygotskian sociocultural models of learning. ICT is presented as a ‘recontextualising field’ that exerts influence by weakening the classification and framing of the discourse. Successful uses of ICT tend to favour ‘invisible’ pedagogies: collaborative modes of active working with shared competences, in lessons containing elements of ‘discovery’. Tensions can arise if the dominant discourse is a ‘visible’ pedagogy that favours individual performance, with the teacher as the voice of authority and controller of the discourse. These tensions can lead to ICT being marginalised or discredited by teachers or lead to new modalities of pedagogy.

Pedagogising poverty alleviation: a discourse analysis of educational and social policies in Argentina and Chile

For the past decades international organisations and governments have promoted and implemented analogous education policies on the grounds that education is the key factor to foster development and fight poverty. This article sets the context of these educational programmes and analyses their discourse on poverty in Argentina and Chile. Then, it shows how they institutionalise strict surveillance, institutional denigration of the poor and professional scepticism. In general, the conclusions underpin one hypothesis that leads the analysis: eventually, these targeted education policies ‘pedagogise’ poverty alleviation in that they aim to ‘instil flexible identities’ into the poor rather than open channels for social inclusion.

重建中国现代诗学话语体系

中国现代诗学话语体系具有浓厚的西方特征,与中国古代诗学话语体系是两种完全不同的谱系,其术语、概念、范畴主要是从西方输入的。在如何对待中国古代诗学话语和当代先锋诗论话语方面,中国现代诗学存在着严重的缺陷和弊端。中国现代诗学不应该只是新诗理论,还应该包容古典诗学;不应该只是“现代”诗学,还应该包容“当代”诗学,特别是当代先锋诗歌理论。重建中国现代诗学,应该充分吸收中国古代诗学思想和当代诗论思想,使它既能够有效地言说古代诗歌现象,又能够有效地言说当代先锋诗歌现象。

在中国现代思想文化版图上,左翼启蒙派思想文化传统是相当独特、不容忽视的一种精神现象。相对于毛泽东———周扬为代表的马克思主义,左翼启蒙派文化思潮形成了迥然不同的左翼思想文化传统;与胡适为代表的自由主义相比,它又确立了中国思想文化现代化的不同路向。20世纪中叶许多著名的文化政治事件大都是围绕着左翼启蒙派作家而展开的,这是因为左翼启蒙派思想文化传统在当时语境下特别有价值和感召力,切合了中国社会思想文化界的现实需要。     

The pedagogic signature of special needs education

The goal of the following study is to identify a pedagogic signature, according to LS Shulman, for working with students who have special educational needs. Special educational needs are defined as significant limitations in personal development and learning which require particular educational measures beyond regular education. The development of a pedagogic signature should create an identity and provide guidance, particularly for teachers who are working in the context of inclusive schools with no prior knowledge or training in this regard. The study is carried out against the background of the structural uncertainty of the teaching profession and takes into consideration existing normative, theoretical and empirical approaches in education. Existing research regarding demands is largely theoretical, while empirical research is rudimentary. The present study used a multi-method approach to identify demands for working with students with special educational needs. Experts in the areas of learning disabilities and emotional/behavioural disorders completed an instrument from the field of industrial and organisational psychology, quantifying and weighting professional demands on teachers according to their importance. The results were added and validated through group discussions, creating a demand profile. By combining the results with the dimensions of a signature pedagogy, according to Shulman, it is apparent that surface structure and deep structure play a minor role in the perceptions of special needs teachers. The central importance of the implicit structure is characteristic of the pedagogic signature. This importance is represented by the target group’s emphasis on demands such as having an appreciative leadership or authenticity. An even greater emphasis is placed on the aspect of attitude – this is having a humanistic ethos. The demand profile and the resulting consequences for the practice of teaching will be considered with a view towards current problems and questions in research and practice, and particularly with regard to inclusion.
