“教育”的再理解

"教育",教育学最基本的范畴、最重要的概念;"教育",教育事业的核心观点、最起码的术语。以笔者换一个新的角度,重新思考"教育是什么",从教育是教育者与受教育者在和风细雨中的"慢的艺术";是在追求真善美、领悟人生真谛中"体验的过程";是不断的圆满过程中"遗憾的艺术";是生命得以不断延续和精彩绽放的过程中"悟的过程"等方面,重新回答教育的真正含义。     

社本主义教育之反思

社本主义作为当前的一个重要思潮，给教育带来了诸多负面影响。社本主义教育把社会利益看成是高于一切的标准，把教育的目的仅仅定位社会的发展。它把人们的注意力引向对社会过分地关注，忽视了人的发展，从而导致对教育本质的遮蔽。只有正确地处理好社会、人、知识三者在教育中的关系，重视人在教育的中心地位，才能使我们的教育走向健康的发展道路。     

大学创业教育的再思考

创业教育与创新教育是无法分割的。大学开展创业教育的目标是培养具有创业创新意识、创业基本能力和素质的开创性人才。大学创业教育的模式主要有均衡型创业教育模式、专业型创业教育模式以及应用型创业教育模式。当下大学生创业教育的突出问题表现在:缺失明确的创业教育理念;缺乏系统的创业教育管理体制;创业教育教学体系有待完善;创业教育保障明显不足。为此必须清醒地认识到:创业教育是大学教育历史发展的现实要求;创业教育是大学教育题中应有之意;创业教育并不要求大学生全员创业;创业教育成效评估有必要,但不能过度。     

从中西文化差异看跨文化教育

分析中西文化在形成环境、思维方式、语言习惯、书面形式和评价标准方面的差异,指出在英语教学中,以"跨文化教育"理念,培养学生的"跨文化意识",实现中西文化的交流.     

Rethinking Nature and Nurture in Education

This paper evaluates how our understanding of natural talent affects questions of educational justice. We argue that education debates currently suffer from a naïve understanding of ‘nature versus nurture’ and present a more rigorous approach that allows us to see what is required for fair treatment of students. As it stands, there is controversy over the extent to which a student's achievements are a result of their natural talent, as opposed to the quality of their education. For those on the nature side of the debate, students who are performing poorly just are not cut out for academic life, and redoubling efforts at furthering their education is both a waste of resources for society and pointless torture for the student. For those on the nurture side, failing students are a sign of a failing education system. To make progress on educational justice, we must move away from attempts to simply assign proportional influence to natural talent and education, respectively, and instead look at the broader landscape of individual reactions to a range of educational environments.

Introducing Sex Education in the Formal Education System in Nigeria

Abstract

Evidence exists about the increasing rate of sexual involvement, decrease in age of first sexual experience and the existence of different forms of sexual aberration such as prostitution, sexual exploitation and rape among Nigerian youth. In spite of these problems sex education has not been included in the framework of the formal education system in Nigeria. The introduction of sex education in our formal school system is now necessary not only to provide adolescents with valuable knowledge about sex, but also as a means of averting risks associated with unplanned coital sex such as teenage pregnancy, illegitimacy and other medical and psychological risks. This paper attempts to answer questions related to such issues as who should teach sex education, whether sex education should be taught as a subject or integrated into some or all school subjects, the content of sex education and how sex education materials should be presented. It is anticipated that the introduction of sex education in the formal school system is likely to lead to some conflicts with cultural and religious norms and with existing sex knowledge which youths have from their peers, magazines, pictures and pornography.

Rethinking Education through Contemporary Art

This article is part of a broader investigation exploring how contemporary art allows us to think about the process that underpins our teaching and learning in order to change it. We are tutors in initial teacher education and we teach, learn and communicate through contemporary art for a pedagogical module. In the following article we will show how teaching, learning and communicating through contemporary art helps future teachers to be aware of their educational models. Art encounters generate new learning and teaching experiences by allowing students and teachers to make various rhizomatic wanderings. The rhizomatic wanderings are diverse with the content and the form depending on the personal experience. The article concludes that the more rhizomatic wanderings future teachers make, the more they will be able to rethink the process of teaching and learning in order to attend to the diverse situations of classrooms of the twenty‐first century.     

再论教育的忧郁

为我们的教育而忧郁的人可谓有识之士.忧郁代表着一种觉醒,一种责任.我们把这种忧郁引伸到哲学上来,教育与哲学如此密不可分,兴盛教育需要同时从哲学和教育那里寻找出路.哲学的成长和繁荣离不开批判,教育及其他事业的兴旺需要深深的忧虑和深刻的批判.现在,学术上的功利主义严重地妨碍着我们,我们太崇尚感性,缺乏理论兴趣和哲学兴趣在妨碍我们深入反思教育改革.     

对利他主义道德教育的再思考

传统利他主义伦理观在强调无私利他的同时反对一切个人利益的诉求而失去了其存在人性论基础。社会生物学认为利己与利他并非二元对立的两极,只是个体在不同环境中所采取的不同生存策略。就人类来说,亲缘范围内的利他是无私利他,而社会范围内的利他则更多是互惠利他。人类的利他行为是知与情统一,是先天与后天协同作用的结果。在一个神圣祛魅、道德世俗化的时代,我们应从内容到方法对利他主义道德教育进行合乎现实与理性的修订。

概括了我国恢复研究生教育以来医学研究生教育取得的进步,论述了在研究生培养质和量都有所提高的过程中仍然面临的诸多挑战;分析了医学发展的趋势和人才需求的形势,并根据北京大学的医学研究生教育管理实践,结合医药科工作委员会工作的特点,对医学研究生教育作了进一步的思考.

目前我国大学通识教育在认识与实践上还存在一些误区,需要进行深入的反思:如对大学通识教育的概念理解混乱,对通识教育的普适性缺乏批判思考,对通识教育的昂贵性认识不足,通识教育在实践上模式单一、重形式轻实质等.在反思的基础上,借鉴发达国家通识教育经验,改造中国教育传统,结合现实国情,才能构建中国特色的大学通识教育.
