一次不可思议的经历

It was a busy scene in the street when the Spring Festival was drawing near. I was helping my wife sell the goods at her stand when there were too many buyers around. One old woman, with her both hands occupied, was picking out trousers all by herself. She was wandering which one to take. She spent so long in choosing that I lost patience. So I just left her alone and turned to greet another guest. At the same time I saw a group of guys walking towards our stand. I was glad that we could make a little more today before my wife whispered into my ear "WATCH OUT!". "WHY?" I asked loudly. "Shoo-." my wife held her finger up to stop me and rolled her eyes at me when she quickly covered the moneybag tightly. "What?" I still wanted to find out the reason when the guys stood around the old woman. The guest I served left without buying anything though he liked the item very much.     

Musing on Xiangshan

I was really happy as I set my foot in Xiangshan Park.Birds were twittering and the sunwas shining bright on the trees.I t was difficult to find such a fine day in winter.As a student who was afflicted by a large amount ofhomework,I was tired of living in the city.     

Making a Kite

I like flying kites very much. One day, I made a kite by myself. First, I crossed (交叉) two sticks* and tied* them together with a string (细绳) . Then I drew a rabbit on a piece of paper, because rabbits are my favourite animal! Third, I glued (粘贴) the paper to the sticks. At last, I tied a string to the kite. And my kite was finished! It was so beautiful! I flew it in the sky. Wow! It could fly so high!     

AHAPPY SUMMER

Last summer, my family and I went to Qingdao. Qingdao is a beautiful city. It is in the east of China. The sun was bright, the sky was blue, the sea was big and the water was dean. We swam in the sea and saw a lot of fish. Weate some seafood （海鲜）.The seafood was yummy. I loved the seafood very much. We took many photos, and l bought some nice gifts （礼物） for my friends. I had a good time in Qingdao.     

冒险初体验

All the books about the twelve signs of the zodiac say that Leo is the most adventurous one. It is indeed true, because it is typically embodied in my character. In my memory, I began my first adventure at the age of six. One Sunday, one of my friends came to my home in a hurry. As soon as she sat down, she said to me immediately, "I hit upon a wonderful idea that we could go to the mountain behind our school to pick some bamboo shoots. Do you agree?" It was completely fresh to me, so I raised both of my arms to show my approval.

回家

In 1994 I moved from Muswell Hill in the north ofLondon to Wimbledon in the south-west.It was inWimbledon that I finally came of age.It was therethat I bought my first home,in a place calledSouthfields,beside Wimbledon Park on one side,and on the other,Wimbledon Common,a large area of woodlands and meadows and wild bog heather where you could walk or cycle to your hearts content.     

Phone Dinner

One day, when I was at an airport waiting for my flight, I had to make a phone call. I looked around and found all the phones were busy. So I went to wait in line and stood there for a long time.The person talking on the phone was an old man and I could hear the conversation clearly. He was talking about his trip in this city. He said he was having a good time. He commented on(评论) the weather here and asked about the weather back there. While he was talking, he was eating a sandwich and drinking coffee.

My Dream
