From September onwards the phased introduction of teacher appraisals will begin in schools. So far, in the six areas where DES pilot schemes are being run, special schools have not been to the fore. In this article, however, the authors concentrate on issues which are relevant to special schools. They draw on a survey of 32 headteachers in special schools in the north west of England and also suggest some guidelines for an effective and fair system. Critical reflection is regarded as a high-level reflective practice and promoted by many reflective practice programs This article aims to criticize it from two aspects: conceptual perspective and practical perspective. Based on the understanding of it as self-reflection, being critical can be regarded as one feature and consequence of any type of reflective practice. Owing to cultural differences, critical reflection faces many obstacles in practice. Meeting teachers' needs, rather than designing the hierarchy, is suggested to be a criterion of good quality reflection.  相似文献

本文主要探究学生的个性特征、学习成绩和性别等个别差异在教师的评价方面的需求之影响。实验采用问卷调查法发现,性别和个性特征二因素之间交互作用以及学习成绩都对学生在教师的评价方面的需求有显著性影响;实验还发现大多数学生所需求的鼓励和提醒与教师常采用的赞扬不一致,这种不一致可能抑制学生的学习动机和阻碍师生心理健康发展。因此,为了激发学生的学习动机,维护师生心理健康,笔者建议教师根据学生的个性特征、学习成绩和性别等个别差异评价学生。  相似文献

民主遵约论认为,相比非民主国家,民主国家更加倾向于遵守国际协议.本文从偏好稳定性问题、公众影响力问题、集体行动问题、非民主国家的公众制约、透明性等五个方面对其因果逻辑进行了检视,并由此得出,民主的政体类型与遵守行为之间并不存在确切的因果关系.已有的经验研究支持民主遵约论的理论假说,很可能是因为其选取的样本数据正好符合其因果逻辑发生作用的特定条件.对于研究者而言,讨论并厘清其发生作用的特定条件,将是未来研究的方向.  相似文献

This research focuses on the examination of problems related to the national teacher performance appraisal system by the Thai Ministry of Education. It highlights major problems of the current performance appraisal system by delineating the weaknesses and pitfalls of the current appraisal system. The findings indicate problems to three major types; problems from the mismanagement of the system; problems arising from the evaluators; and problems arising from the applicants. These problems are the major constraints in accelerating education devolution and development. Therefore, Thailand’s Ministry of Education should find the way to improve its method of teacher performance appraisal.  相似文献

教师绩效评价是教育人事制度改革的关键,20世纪80年代以来,它成为了教育改革的重点和难点。在以往有关教师评价的研究中,三种不同类型的评价常常被混用;而对教师绩效的评价又常常只关注任务绩效,没有关注关系绩效;此外,大多数教师评价研究均是关于大学教师的。教师绩效评价应以教师绩效结构的理论分析为基础。基于教师素质结构理论,在文献分析和关键事件调查、关键事件访谈的基础上,通过定性分析和实证分析,在反复研究基础上,提出了教师绩效的结构,并通过实证研究探讨了教师绩效评价的信度与效度。  相似文献

The prevalence of neoliberal ideologies throughout the 2016 election season challenged our understandings of democratic education.
