Conceptualising Curriculum Change

Recent developments in UK higher education are turning attention to the undergraduate curriculum. Drawing on Lyotard's concept of performativity, this paper explores broad patterns of curriculum change in five subject areas. The curriculum is understood as an educational project forming identities founded in three domains: knowledge, action and self. Curriculum models are proposed that identify these components and their relationships with each other. The evidence suggests that the weightings and levels of integration of these components vary between the sciences and technology subjects, the arts and humanities, and professional courses. Attempts to develop curriculum strategies should take account of the patterns of curriculum components as they vary between the subject areas.     

The Need for Models in Curriculum Planning

This article is based on an address by Professor Dahllöf at the annual meeting of the Board of Consultants on Research and Development of the National Board of Education in Sweden in November 1967. It was also published in a journal on the technology of teaching, Undervisningsteknologi (1967, No. 10).     

Planning for Change in Higher Education

Some introductory comments about the nature of this article are necessary: (1) It is a very abbreviated summary of two reports in Swedish. (2) The reports are preliminary, and will be followed by a final report (June 1976) containing conclusions and recommendations. (3) The time schedule of the project has been determined by linkage to a political process (preparations for reform of higher education in Sweden), which explains the broad and tentative character of the interim reports. (4) The object of the discussion is the Swedish system of higher education, even if many problems of a similar nature exist in other countries.

课程变革本质上是一种文化创造,而文化反过来又构成课程变革之基础.课程文化内涵至少包括三个方面,即"课程中的文化"、"课程的文化"与"变革文化",此三者相互作用、相互渗透.我国当前基础教育课程改革在文化上的内在要求是形成一种"合作探究文化".传统的、控制的课程文化与新兴的、民主的课程文化间的冲突是新课程改革面临的主要问题.前者与应试教育体系相适应,后者则是素质教育的内在要求.而文化冲突的过程即是一种文化适应、超越和创生的过程.只要坚持合作、探究的变革文化,民主的课程文化定会在我国课程领域诞生并发展.     

共性、特色、行业相结合安全工程专业教学体系建设研究

为完善现有的安全工程课程体系,通过调研现行的国际标准,分析现代安全科学原理,在考虑学校特色与行业通用相结合的基础上并参照《高等学校理工科本科专业规范(参考格式)》设计了安全工程专业教育知识体系,该知识体系包括"系统管理、设计预防、危险源辨识、风险管控、应急救援、行业知识、学校特色"7个知识领域。在此知识框架下,再进行知识点的划分,形成了安全工程专业课程体系。

英国的中小学校长培训依据校长成长规律,设置从初阶领导一直到校长的较为完整的学校领导力培训系列课程,包括中层领导培训课程、领导路径培训课程、国家学校领导任职资格培训课程、未来领导培训课程以及团队培训课程等;同时依据先进的培训理念设计课程,体现个性化、综合化、校本化的特色,从而使培训效益提高,一个培训项目促进学校各领导管理层乃至整个学校都获得提升。这对我国中小学校长培训具有启发与借鉴意义。     

Curriculum Change and School Development

The paper discusses some fundamental changes in the culture of teaching and learning and their implications for the curriculum and for the roles of teachers: changing expectations of students, the quest for ‘dynamic qualities’, changing access routes to knowledge and experience, the shift from segregative to integrative structures, and demands on public accountability. Then two examples are presented to illustrate the quest for constructive answers to these challenges: ‘Schools for Active Learning’ and the ‘Environment and School Initiatives Project’. The final section gives some indications of changing curricular frame conditions for a dynamic culture of teaching and learning.

当前我国的课程规划负有重要的文化使命。因为课程具有传递和创造文化的功能,且中华文化具有特别的变迁历程。课程规划的文化使命的主要内容包括：文化精神的传递与更新;文化形式的传递与创造。课程规划履行文化使命的主要途径有：课程规划过程本身应体现积极的文化价值;全部课程完整地渗透积极的文化精神;完整地策划文化形式的传递与创造。     

课程规划:学校层面的课程实施

课程规划是课程实施的的本质要求,对国家课程、地方课程和校本课程进行规划与实施是学校的责任和权力.如何规范制订学校课程规划,给学校以理论上的指导和实践中的参考,是亟待研究的现实课题.本文构建了学校课程规划的基本框架,并对框架中的各部分予以具体阐述.     

论课程改革中的教师改变

教师改变与课程改革密切相关,是课程改革取得成功的内在动力。然而,教师对课程改革会表现出抵制和自愿改变两种倾向,这使教师改变具有了悖论性质。就其内涵而言,教师改变是一个多维度、多阶段过程,并且各维度之间存在着复杂的相互作用。在课程实施中,既要妥善管理实施的“步伐”,处理好教师渐进性改变和根本性改变的关系,又要从专业、资源、制度和文化入手为教师提供必要的支持,引领教师改变的方向。
