基于内容分析法的索引研究论文主题分析

本文利用文献计量法和内容分析法,对来源于CNKI的1991-2010年索引学研究论文的主题进行分析,发现索引学文献的增长符合逻辑增长模型,说明索引学正趋于稳定发展时期,研究重点主要在索引的理论和编制以及索引的广泛应用上,索引事业将更注重索引的实用性及其技术的发展。

内容索引是直接检索事实情报的索引,文献的内容索引在西方国家受到广泛的重视,但我国文献内容索引却长期处于落后状态.本文全面论述了内容索引的使用现状、功能、编制和应用,从而进一步论证了编制内容索引的必要性和重要性.     

索引学视野中的乐谱文献工作

本文以索引学的视角，审视作为特色音乐文献的乐谱文献工作，如号码索引之于作曲家的作品的整理研究、版本对照索引之于乐谱版本现象与研究、旋律索引之于音乐主题类工具书排检系统的设置以及曲目索引之于馆藏乐谱文献资源的开发利用等等，指出存在问题，呼吁索引学界关注包括乐谱文献在内的特色文献索引的编制与研究。     

中国地方志索引研究

地方志索引是一种比地方志书目更有效地揭示方志内容的检索工具,在方志编撰中越来越受到重视。旧志、新志是以1949年新中国成立为限划分。作者在对新旧地方志索引的编制状况全面调查的基础上．对旧志、新志索引的类型和特点进行了分析研究。     

国内年鉴索引研究概况

通过统计分析1991～2010年间研究年鉴索引的论文,总结近年国内关于年鉴索引研究的概况和进展,包括年鉴索引编制技术、机编索引、索引标准等,并对国内年鉴索引研究存在的问题提出一些看法.     

显索引与隐索引

反映已有文献的索引是“显索引”；反映科技前沿潜伏的科学信息和创新构想、创新思路的索引为“隐索引”。显索引可检索已有的知识，隐索引可使相关领域的科研人员共享前沿的尚待提示的科学信息，提高科研团队研究水平，及早产出科研成果以造福社会。     

Three studies of the listening of children

Although scholars have discussed the occurrence of gossip in social situations, gossip's function as a social influence tool has received little theoretical attention. Of particular interest is the issue of whether gossip is untrustworthy, leading to relational demise, or whether gossip can lead to perceived liking, trust, and expertise. The prediction was made that whether gossip acts as relational ruin or social glue depends on the valence of the gossip and the type of relationship among the communicators. It was proposed that source cue perceptions will be the function of an interaction between relationship type and gossip valence. Specifically, friends' judgments will not be affected by gossip valence, but strangers' assessments of liking, trust, and expertise will increase when gossip is positive and will decrease when gossip is negative (when controlling for propensity to gossip). An experiment was designed to test these predictions. The data indicated that both positive and negative gossip are perceived negatively for both friends and strangers.     

When postcolonial studies meets media studies

This essay addresses (1) how postcolonial studies might inform and enrich media studies, especially as the latter is situated in the Communication discipline, and (2) how media studies may productively expand the terrain postcolonial studies, that thus far has been dominated by the fields of Literature and Comparative Literature. Focusing on, and challenging, issues such as the North Atlantic temporal logics that inform the received history of media studies, as well as contesting the narrow boundaries of literary studies for engaging in contemporary postcolonial media/ted cultures, this essay attempts to argue for the importance of postcolonial media studies.     

Trade books and the social studies curriculum

Historical fiction, fiction about contemporary people of other cultures, and nonfiction trade books can increase children's interest in social studies and enhance their knowledge. Dianne Monson and Kathleen Howe discuss the ways that these books appeal to young readers and lead them to seek further understanding of historical events, foreign cultures, and Americans from different cultural backgrounds. They offer numerous examples of books that serve this purpose for several social studies topics. Kathleen Howe completed her doctorate at the University of Minnesota. Her dissertation dealt with the use of children's literature trade books in the elementary social studies curriculum. Dianne Monson is a past president of the U.S. Board on Books for Young People and has written and lectured on children's literature throughout the curriculum.     

Cultural studies and the African Global South

ABSTRACT

Cultural studies exhibits multiple derivations from different historical conjunctures and places. This essay examines three instances of cultural studies emanating from within Africa, in relation to the field in the North Atlantic. What a “Southern” lens offers the North are different ways of making sense and a transnational framework that enables peer-to-peer conversations. This transe/trance quality is explained via a discussion of the scientifically unexplainable, superstition, and the noumenal. The immateriality of money and its associated human performances as reified by New York stock exchanges is the example through which transnational theoretical hybridity is examined.     

The responses of theatre audiences,experimental studies,experimental studies

After setting in proper perspective the nature and extent of the influence of the Reverend Solomon Stoddard, the author attempts to show that in major degree Stoddard's influence depended upon his theories and practice of persuasion. To accomplish his persuasive goal of promoting increased religious devotion—under control of the Church, Stoddard applied an integrated pattern of persuasion: he evoked the aid of civil authorities, urged New Englanders to reform, swept the people into the churches by changes in admission policies, exerted greater control over individuals and churches by means of reforms of liturgy and church organization, and—most important to students of speech—practiced and taught to other ministers his techniques for inducing conversion.     

Social studies textbooks in the 1990s

Despite continuing criticism, textbooks remain essential to the teaching of social studies in elementary and high schools. The problems laid at their doorstep are, in fact, reflections of the nation’s educational difficulties. As the number of publishers in the textbook market decreases, the market itself becomes less uniform, and the arguments surrounding content become louder, quality may decline In addition, the use of trade and supplementary materials may increase, niche textbooks may multiply, and CD-ROM may drive even the best textbooks into extinction.

CALIS专题特色数据库建设实践研究

论文以CALIS“十五”期间专题特色数据库子项目“河洛文化文献专题数据库”建库实践为例，分析、探讨了特色数据库建库过程中在平台选用、数据库结构设计、元数据方案制定、数据组织与标引以及质量控制等方面遇到的技术问题，并给出了相应的解决方案。
