In this paper, we propose an adapt-then-combine (ATC) diffusion normalized Huber adaptive filtering (ATC-DNHuber) algorithm for distributed estimation in impulsive interference environments. Firstly, a normalized Huber adaptive filter (NHuber) is developed to reduce the effect of the eigenvalue spread of the input signal. Then we extend the NHuber to develop an ATC diffusion algorithm by applying the NHuber algorithm at all agents. In addition, the mean stability performance and computational complexity are analyzed theoretically. In addition, Furthermore, simulation results demonstrate that the ATC-DNHuber algorithm can perform better in identifying the unknown coefficients under the complex and changeable impulsive interference environments.  相似文献

Error entropy is a well-known learning criterion in information theoretic learning (ITL), and it has been successfully applied in robust signal processing and machine learning. To date, many robust learning algorithms have been devised based on the minimum error entropy (MEE) criterion, and the Gaussian kernel function is always utilized as the default kernel function in these algorithms, which is not always the best option. To further improve learning performance, two concepts using a mixture of two Gaussian functions as kernel functions, called mixture error entropy and mixture quantized error entropy, are proposed in this paper. We further propose two new recursive least-squares algorithms based on mixture minimum error entropy (MMEE) and mixture quantized minimum error entropy (MQMEE) optimization criteria. The convergence analysis, steady-state mean-square performance, and computational complexity of the two proposed algorithms are investigated. In addition, the reason why the mixture mechanism (mixture correntropy and mixture error entropy) can improve the performance of adaptive filtering algorithms is explained. Simulation results show that the proposed new recursive least-squares algorithms outperform other RLS-type algorithms, and the practicality of the proposed algorithms is verified by the electro-encephalography application.  相似文献

The conventional logarithm cost-based adaptive filters, e.g., the least mean logarithmic square (LMLS) algorithm, cannot combat impulsive noises at the filtering process. To address this issue, we present a novel robust least mean logarithmic square (RLMLS) algorithm by using a generalized logarithmic cost function. The proposed RLMLS algorithm can provide robustness against impulsive noises with the improvement of filtering accuracy. For theoretical analysis, the mean square analysis of RLMLS is provided in terms of the mean square deviation (MSD) and excess mean-square error (EMSE) with a white Gaussian reference. For further performance improvement in different noises, the variable step-size RLMLS (VSSRLMLS) based on the statistics of error is proposed to improve the convergence rate and steady-state mean square error, simultaneously. Analytical results and superiorities of RLMLS and VSSRLMLS in the context of system identification are supported by simulations from the aspects of filtering accuracy and robustness in Gaussian and impulse noises.  相似文献

This article explores how to develop complex data driven user models that go beyond the bag of words model and topical relevance. We propose to learn from rich user specific information and to satisfy complex user criteria under the graphical modelling framework. We carried out a user study with a web based personal news filtering system, and collected extensive user information, including explicit user feedback, implicit user feedback and some contextual information. Experimental results on the data set collected demonstrate that the graphical modelling approach helps us to better understand the complex domain. The results also show that the complex data driven user modelling approach can improve the adaptive information filtering performance. We also discuss some practical issues while learning complex user models, including how to handle data noise and the missing data problem.  相似文献

A family of hypercomplex algebras in four dimensions (4D) is proposed to devise adaptive filters. Such a family, called β-quaternions, has multiplication rules for the complex units that depend on a parameter β, and this family contains, as particular cases, both standard Hamilton quaternions and split quaternions. In this framework, two notions of properness for random vectors are introduced and their implications on the statistical processing involved are analyzed. Then, statistical tests to check properness in practice and a method to select the best algebra where the properness conditions could hold are provided. Also, proper adaptive filters are suggested and row and column updating problems are studied. The main advantage of the techniques proposed compared with the standard ones is that a notable reduction in the computational burden is achieved. Finally, simulation examples validate the proper adaptive filters and demonstrate that our scheme performs better than the traditional quaternion domain.  相似文献

In this paper, an adaptive risk-sensitive multiple-model filtering method which relaxes the restrictive assumption that risk-sensitive parameter is chosen as a prior is proposed for a class of discrete-time Markov jump linear systems (MJLSs) with uncertain parameters. Some analysis is presented to illustrate the essential effect of the risk sensitivity added into the filtering process and show the intrinsic reasons for the improvement of robustness. Then, a quite useful principle is developed to obtain the risk-sensitive parameter using the measurements in an online fashion. To avoid overregulation under mismatched modes and mitigate the problem of smearing the feature of each model, a minimization mechanism is resorted to. Computer simulations are presented to reveal the effectiveness of our method.  相似文献

In this paper, a novel robust adaptive multistage anti-windup control strategy is developed for dynamic positioning ships in presence of input constraint, mismatched disturbance and external disturbance. Based on dynamic surface control technique, a composite control law, where both mismatched and matched disturbances are compensated, is established to stabilize the system without the requirement of solving any partial differential equations. In particularly, the mismatched disturbance caused by the model transformation is analyzed firstly and the better steady performance is achieved. In addition, a novel multistage anti-windup control based on anticipatory activation compensation is constructed to handle the input constraint while the transient performance is improved significantly. Moreover, the stability of the closed-loop system is proven via Lyapunov technique rigorously, and the tracking error can be forced into an arbitrarily small neighborhood around zero. Finally, simulations with comparisons demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

This paper considers a trilayer Stackelberg game problem for nonlinear system with three players. A novel performance function is defined for each player, which depends on the coupling relationships with the other two players. The coupled Hamilton–Jacobi–Bellman (HJB) equations are built from the performance functions, and the optimal control polices of three players are obtained based on the Bellman’s principle of optimality. Because of the nonlinearity and coupling characteristics, a policy iteration (PI) algorithm with a three-layer decision-making framework is developed to online learn the coupled HJB equations. In order to implement the algorithm, we construct a critic-action neural network (NN) structure and design a NN approximation-based iteration algorithm. Finally, a simulation example is presented to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the distributed formation control problem of multi-quadrotor unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in the framework of event triggering. First, for the position loop, an adaptive dynamic programming based on event triggering is developed to design the formation controller. The critic-only network structure is adopted to approximate the optimal cost function. The merit of the proposed algorithm lies in that the event triggering mechanism is incorporated the neural network (NN) to reduce calculations and actions of the multi-UAV system, which is significant for the practical application. What’s more, a new weight update law based on the gradient descent technology is proposed for the critic NN, which can ensure that the solution converges to the optimal value online. Then, a finite-time attitude tracking controller is adopted for the attitude loop to achieve rapid attitude tracking. Finally, the efficiency of the proposed method is illustrated by numerical simulations and experimental verification.  相似文献

A discrete-time adaptive fuzzy control method is introduced to achieve the speed regulation for induction motors (IMs) with input saturation via command filtering in this paper. First, the continuous model of IMs drive system is transformed into discrete-time form by using Euler formula. Then, the fuzzy logic systems are used to approximate the unknown nonlinear functions in the discrete-time drive system. In addition, the command filtering control method is introduced to overcome the “explosion of complexity” problem in the design process of traditional backstepping method. It is verified that all the closed-loop signals are bounded and the outputs can track the given reference signals well. Finally, simulation results illustrate the validity of the discrete-time control method.  相似文献

In this paper, a novel event-triggered adaptive fault-tolerant control scheme is proposed for a class of nonlinear systems with unknown actuator faults. Multiplicative faults and additive faults are taken into account simultaneously, both of which may vary with time. Different from existing results, our controller fuses static reliability information and dynamic online information, which is helpful to enhance the fault-tolerant capability. With the aid of an event-triggering mechanism, an actuator switching strategy and a bound estimation approach, the communication burden is significantly reduced and the impacts of the actuator faults as well as the network-induced error are effectively compensated for. Moreover, by employing the prescribed performance control technique, the system tracking error can converge to a predefined arbitrarily small residual set with prescribed convergence rate and maximum overshoot, which implies that the proposed scheme is able to ensure rapid and accurate tracking. Simulation results are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.  相似文献

The problem of decentralized adaptive control is investigated for a class of large-scale nonstrict-feedback nonlinear systems subject to dynamic interaction and unmeasurable states, where the dynamic interaction is related to both input and output items. First, the fuzzy logic system is utilized to tackle unknown nonlinear function with nonstrict-feedback structure. Then, by combining adaptive and backstepping technology, the proper output feedback controller is designed. Meanwhile, a fuzzy state observer is proposed to estimate the unmeasurable states. The proposed controller could guarantee that all the signals of the resulting closed-loop systems are bounded. The rapid development of the web has led to a considerable increase in information dissemination. Recently, personalized web service recommendation has become a popular research area in service computing. Research on web service recommendation systems mainly addresses two problems: prediction and completion of sparse QoS data, and the user's personalized recommendation. To address the issue of high data sparsity and low recommendation accuracy in the traditional service recommendation models under mobile cloud, this study presents a hybrid collaborative filtering model for consumer service recommendation based on mobile cloud by introducing user preferences. The example verified that the service recommendation based on the model can effectively reduce the data sparsity and increase the accuracy of the prediction.  相似文献

In this paper, the data-driven adaptive dynamic programming (ADP) algorithm is proposed to deal with the optimal tracking problem for the general discrete-time (DT) systems with delays for the first time. The model-free ADP algorithm is presented by using only the system’s input, output and the reference trajectory of the finite steps of historical data. First, the augmented state equation is constructed based on the time-delay system and the reference system. Second, a novel data-driven state equation is derived by virtue of the history data composed of input, output and reference trajectory, which is considered as a state estimator.Then, a novel data-driven Bellman equation for the linear quadratic tracking (LQT) problem with delays is deduced. Finally, the data-driven ADP algorithm is designed to solve the LQT problem with delays and does not require any system dynamics. The simulation result demonstrates the validity of the proposed data-driven ADP algorithm in this paper for the LQT problem with delays.  相似文献

In this paper, a novel backstepping-based adaptive dynamic programming (ADP) method is developed to solve the problem of intercepting a maneuver target in the presence of full-state and input constraints. To address state constraints, a barrier Lyapunov function is introduced to every backstepping procedure. An auxiliary design system is employed to compensate the input constraints. Then, an adaptive backstepping feedforward control strategy is designed, by which the tracking problem for strict-feedback systems can be reduced to an equivalence optimal regulation problem for affine nonlinear systems. Secondly, an adaptive optimal controller is developed by using ADP technique, in which a critic network is constructed to approximate the solution of the associated Hamilton–Jacobi–Bellman (HJB) equation. Therefore, the whole control scheme consists of an adaptive feedforward controller and an optimal feedback controller. By utilizing Lyapunov's direct method, all signals in the closed-loop system are guaranteed to be uniformly ultimately bounded (UUB). Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed strategy is demonstrated by using a simple nonlinear system and a nonlinear two-dimensional missile-target interception system.  相似文献

Exploratory search increasingly becomes an important research topic. Our interests focus on task-based information exploration, a specific type of exploratory search performed by a range of professional users, such as intelligence analysts. In this paper, we present an evaluation framework designed specifically for assessing and comparing performance of innovative information access tools created to support the work of intelligence analysts in the context of task-based information exploration. The motivation for the development of this framework came from our needs for testing systems in task-based information exploration, which cannot be satisfied by existing frameworks. The new framework is closely tied with the kind of tasks that intelligence analysts perform: complex, dynamic, and multiple facets and multiple stages. It views the user rather than the information system as the center of the evaluation, and examines how well users are served by the systems in their tasks. The evaluation framework examines the support of the systems at users’ major information access stages, such as information foraging and sense-making. The framework is accompanied by a reference test collection that has 18 tasks scenarios and corresponding passage-level ground truth annotations. To demonstrate the usage of the framework and the reference test collection, we present a specific evaluation study on CAFÉ, an adaptive filtering engine designed for supporting task-based information exploration. This study is a successful use case of the framework, and the study indeed revealed various aspects of the information systems and their roles in supporting task-based information exploration.  相似文献

This paper presents a robust and comprehensive graph-based rank aggregation approach, used to combine results of isolated ranker models in retrieval tasks. The method follows an unsupervised scheme, which is independent of how the isolated ranks are formulated. Our approach is able to combine arbitrary models, defined in terms of different ranking criteria, such as those based on textual, image or hybrid content representations.We reformulate the ad-hoc retrieval problem as a document retrieval based on fusion graphs, which we propose as a new unified representation model capable of merging multiple ranks and expressing inter-relationships of retrieval results automatically. By doing so, we claim that the retrieval system can benefit from learning the manifold structure of datasets, thus leading to more effective results. Another contribution is that our graph-based aggregation formulation, unlike existing approaches, allows for encapsulating contextual information encoded from multiple ranks, which can be directly used for ranking, without further computations and post-processing steps over the graphs. Based on the graphs, a novel similarity retrieval score is formulated using an efficient computation of minimum common subgraphs. Finally, another benefit over existing approaches is the absence of hyperparameters.A comprehensive experimental evaluation was conducted considering diverse well-known public datasets, composed of textual, image, and multimodal documents. Performed experiments demonstrate that our method reaches top performance, yielding better effectiveness scores than state-of-the-art baseline methods and promoting large gains over the rankers being fused, thus demonstrating the successful capability of the proposal in representing queries based on a unified graph-based model of rank fusions.  相似文献
