Bacteremia due to Rhodococcus equi：a case report and review of the literature

Rhodococcus equi, previously known as Corynebacterium equi, is one of the most important causes of zoonotic infections in grazing animals. Increased cases of human infection with R. equi have been reported, especially in immunocompromised patients, within recent years. We present a case of R. equi bacteremia in a 51-year-old man with diabetes and liver cirrhosis, on long-term corticosteroid therapy after skin-grafting surgery. The patient recovered soon after he was treated with vancomycin. This review focuses on the microbiological characteristics of this organism, and the diagnosis and treatment of this infection.     

常熟市各高新技术产业竞争力之对比研究

科学地评估各高新技术产业的竞争力状况是制定有效的产业发展政策的前提和基础。根据常熟市科技局提供的2005年全部68家高新技术企业的统计数据,利用因子分析法对主要高新技术产业的发展规模、产业素质状况进行了对比分析,结果发现：新材料制造业在发展规模和产业素质方面处于绝对领先地位;电气机械及设备制造业在研发上投入较大,但偿债能力、人力资本以及技术设备竞争力偏弱;电子及通讯设备制造业的人力资源素质最强,但研发投入偏低,出口创汇能力最差;医药制造业的经济效益最好,但技术设备陈旧,研发投入过低。     

亚健康的成因、危害及预防

亚健康状态是介于健康和疾病之间的一种生理、心理功能和代谢过程低下的综合状态。人类大约有七成的人处于亚健康状态，亚健康已向人类健康出示了黄牌，亚健康在很大程度上是慢性非传染病的潜伏期。人类可以通过改善饮食结构、平衡心理、动静结合、改善生活环境等手段，预防和摆脱亚健康状态。     

NIDDM合并肺部感染患者的免疫功能变化研究

[目的]通过对免疫球蛋白(IgA、IgG、IgM),补体(C3、C4),T淋巴细胞亚群(CD3、CD4、CD8),可溶性白细胞介素2受体(SIL-2R)的检测,研究这些免疫指标与NIDDM(非胰岛素依赖性糖尿病)合并肺部感染患者的关系.[方法]采用双抗夹心法测SIL-2R,速率散射比浊法测免疫球蛋白和补体,单克隆法测淋巴细胞亚群等免疫指标.[结果]①糖尿病及其合并感染组SIL-2R显著高于正常对照组(P<0.01).CD4/CD8显著低于正常对照组(P<0.05);②合并感染组较正常对照组IgG、IgA、C3、C4显著升高(P<0.05、P<0.01、P<0.05、P<0.05),IgM无显著变化(P<0.05).[结论]NIDDM合并肺部感染可加重糖尿病及机体免疫功能低下,NIDDM合并肺部感染T淋巴细胞亚群(CD3、CD4、CD8),补体(C3、C4)免疫球蛋白(IgA、IgG)可溶性白细胞介素2受体(SIL-2R)的检测,可作为糖尿病及其合并感染者的病情变化的客观指标.

根据肺结核的传播特点,建立了带潜伏期和潜伏年龄的数学模型.证明了当基本再生数R0<1时,系统无病平衡点是局部和全局渐近稳定的;当R0>1时,无病平衡点不稳定,此时系统存在一个地方病平衡点,并证明了该地方病平衡点是局部渐近稳定的.

恒温边界矩形区域内热传导的可视化计算

建立了稳态热传导问题的有限差分方程,编写了相应的温度场差分计算程序,借此可求得不同恒温边界条件下带内热源的矩形区域内的温度分布,然后采用计算机图形学原理编写了图形显示程序,并将所得离散的温度分布数据转化为相应的图形.最后,基于所得计算图形讨论了相应区域内的热传导特性.     

集中控制多媒体教室教学设备故障研究

随着多媒体教学在高等院校的普及,多媒体教室数量剧增,教学设备故障成为一个突出问题。该文通过对多媒体教学设备的故障进行跟踪调查,研究产生故障的原因及规律,总结降低设备故障发生率的有效措施,并提出了一些建议,以期提高多媒体设备的利用率,保证教学的顺利进行。     

印度促进基础教育公平的措施及其启示

教育公平是社会公平的基础,基础教育公平是社会公平基础之基础。基础教育的公平历来就是世界各国所共同追求的目标,亦是政府不可推卸的责任。本文选取印度这个和我国同为发展中大国的国家,分别从历史、法律政策、财政拨款等方面梳理其在基础教育公平方面做出的巨大努力,以期为解决我国基础教育公平问题提供借鉴。     

Students’ assessment preferences and approaches to learning: can formative assessment make a difference?

The purpose of this paper is to gain insight into the relationships between hands‐on experiences with formative assessment, students’ assessment preferences and their approaches to learning. The sample consisted of 108 university first‐year Bachelor’s students studying criminology. Data were obtained using the Revised two‐factor study process questionnaire (R‐SPQ‐2F) and the Assessment preferences inventory (API). The study shows that differences in assessment preferences are correlated with differences in approach to learning. Students’ preferences for assessment methods with higher‐order thinking tasks are significantly lower after actual experience with a formative assessment. Moreover, students also changed their approaches to learning after hands‐on experience with a formative mode of assessment. Surprisingly, this change evinced a more ‘surface approach’ to learning. Nevertheless, this is in line with other recent research findings. The paper ends with some possible explanations, and new directions for research are proposed.     

A comparison of the criterion-related validity (academic achievement) of the WPPSI and the WISC-R

Correlations of WPPSI IQs with concurrently administered subtests from the WRAT were compared with analogous WISC-R/WRAT correlations in a group of children referred by regular classroom teachers for school psychological services. Although the magnitudes of all correlations were reduced, due to restriction of range, the comparisons indicated no significant differences in the magnitudes of the correlations of the WPPSI and the WISC-R with the WRAT. These results support the use of the two instruments as equivalent predictors of achievement.

为了更好的普及太阳能综合利用技术,丰富教学、实训资源,深圳职业技术学院结合本院多年的教学经验,自主开发研制了一套太阳能综合利用教学、实训装置。为了更好的说明该套装置的功能和特点,将以系统总述、硬件构成、上位机系统、数据采集及通信系统、太阳能光伏发电及实训项目、太阳能＆空气双源热泵热水系统等6篇文章详细介绍相关的内容。本文为系列文章（Ⅰ）——系统总述,从整体上对该套装置进行了描述,并重点阐述了该套装置的设计思路及其功能特点,对类似教学设备的开发有一定的指导意义。     

毛细现象平衡高度

介绍了毛细现象产生的机理，并利用静力平衡、热力平衡、能量最小原理三种方法分别求得毛细平衡高度。计算结果表明这三种方法是等效的。     

论企业现代设备管理与健康维护的关系

以目前国内设备维护管理的发展为背景,提出采用健康维护的基本思想来实现设备的科学管理。论文探讨了设备的健康状态评价、健康维护策略等基本问题,阐述了健康维护与现代设备管理之间的联系,指明了设备管理的实质就是产品的质量管理,并强调分析了设备的选型、安装调试等前期管理。最后指出实施规范化的操作是最好的设备维护管理方式之一。     

国家助学金的评定尺度与温度 ——从“因穿耐克鞋被取消助学金”谈起

近几年来,高校对国家助学金评定的“奇葩”规定有增无减,曾经有一则“因穿耐克鞋被取消助学金”的网帖走红网络,引起了网络舆论对“贫困生应该是什么样子”的热议。 国家助学金能否被高校通过科学评定而分配到贫困生手里,是一件事关教育公平的大事情。本文对国家助学金的设立宗旨、资助情况、评定质疑、评定尺度与评定温度进行了客观分析,认为对于贫困生的关注,需要的是尊重而不是怜悯。 因此说,高校需要掌握国家助学金的评定尺度、更需要传递评定温度。     

Reading intervention need not be negligible: Response to Cossu (1999)

The treatment effects of a reading intervention study by Hatcher, Hulme and Ellis (1994) have been described as unstable (Cossu 1999) and to be evidence that reading-delayed children are impervious to intervention. Data are presented to show that, in this study, the combined reading and phonological awareness training group (R+P) made greater progress in learning to read than the Reading alone (R) and Phonological awareness alone (P) groups in addition to that of the unseen control group (C). Group R+P also exhibited effect sizes of 1.1 to 2.6 for accuracy, and 1.3 to 1.6 for comprehension, some nine months after the intervention had ceased. These data affirm the stability of the treatment effect, the Sound Linkage hypothesis and the effectiveness of comprehensive and well-structured intervention programmes.
