语篇连贯不能蕴涵衔接

韩礼德和哈桑提出的语篇连贯的标准,受到了Widdowson、Enkvist和严世清等学者的批评。实际上。Widdowson和Enkvist混淆了“衔接”和“衔接手段”这两个不同的概念,严世清等则将“语域的一致性”单纯地理解为“话题”的延续。因此,他们的批评是不能被接受的。然而,韩礼德和哈桑提出的语篇连贯的标准也必须联系语篇产生的语境加以补充。
