It was a bright, sunny September morning, and I was in a huge, pale pink ball gown, with a tiara on my head, waving to the crowds on either sides of the street. I was sitting on a float with eight other girls, who were all wearing the same ball gown, grinning from ear to ear as the parade continued down the boardwalk from one end of the beach to the other. The dynamic response of an infinite beam placed on a Pasternak foundation when the system was subjected to a moving load was investigated. We used the double Fourier transform and its inversion to solve the formulations of the problem. A closed form analytic solution of the beam was obtained by the theorem of residues. We selected a numerical example to illustrate the dynamic response of the beam on Pasternak and Winkler foundations, respectively. We discuss the effect of the moving load velocity on the dynamic displacement response of the beam. The maximum deflection of the beam increases slightly with increased load velocity but increases significantly with reduced shear modulus of subgrade at a given velocity. The maximum deflection of a beam resting on a Pasternak foundation is much smaller than that of a beam on a Winkler foundation.  相似文献

This paper presents a new theoretical model to determine the optimal axial preload of a spindle system, for challenging the traditional method which relies heavily on experience of engineers. The axial preloading stiffness was treated as the sum of the spindle modal stiffness and the framework elastic stiffness, based on a novel concept that magnitude of preloads can be controlled by measuring the resonant frequency of a spindle system. By employing an example of a certain type of aircraft simulating rotary table, the modal stiffness was measured on the Agilent 35670A Dynamic Signal Analyzer by experimental modal analysis. The equivalent elastic stiffness was simulated by both finite element analysis in ANSYS? and a curve fitting in MATLAB?. Results showed that the static preloading stiffness of the spindle was 7.2125×107 N/m, and that the optimal preloading force was 120.0848 N. Practical application proved the feasibility of our method.  相似文献

An experimental machine vision apparatus was used to identify and extract recyclable plastic bottles out of a conveyor belt. Color images were taken with a commercially available Webcam, and the recognition was performed by our homemade software, based on the shape and dimensions of object images. The software was able to manage multiple bottles in a single image and was additionally extended to cases involving touching bottles. The identification was fulfilled by comparing the set of measured features with an existing database and meanwhile integrating various recognition techniques such as minimum distance in the feature space, self-organized maps, and neural networks. The recognition system was tested on a set of 50 different bottles and provided so far an accuracy of about 97% on bottle identification. The extraction of the bottles was performed by means of a pneumatic arm, which was activated according to the plastic type; polyethylene-terephthalate (PET) bottles were left on the conveyor belt, while non-PET bottles were extracted. The software was designed to provide the best compromise between reliability and speed for real-time applications in view of the commercialization of the system at existing recycling plants.  相似文献

Inert metal explosive,a new kind of explosive,is a mixture of high explosive and inert metal particle.When this kind of explosive is detonated,an inert metal particle flow will be formed by the ex-plosive product driving.To determine the characteristics of the movement of the metal particle flow,a series of aluminium plates were designed to be the targets on which the metal particle flow impacted.The test result was presented and a numerical model was set up to analyze the impact of the high speed inert metal particles on aluminium plate.Based on the numerical analysis,the relationship between the characteristic of the mark on the target plate and the initial condition of the inert metal particles was pro-posed.From the analysis of the impact on target plates,more information about the movement of the metal particles could be reconstructed.  相似文献

Based on microscope and image processing, a new method of auto tool setting for micro milling was presented. Firstly, a realtime image of tool setting area was obtained by microscope and CCD camera, then image processing was carried out on this image and the gap between the tool and workpiece was calculated. The gap measurement was sent to motion controlling card to make the tool approach to the surface of workpiece. These steps were repeated until the gap is zero, which means that tool setting was finished. Moreover, a reliability verification test was conducted. We developed a measuring instrument that had wide range, high precision, small measuring touch force. The instrument for three-dimensional (3D) surface topography measurement was composed of a high precision displacement sensor based on the Michelson interference principle, a 3D platform based on vertical scanning, a measuring and control circuit, and an industrial control computer. It was a closed loop control system, which changed the traditional moving stylus scanning style into a moving platform scanning style. When the workpiece was measured, the lever of the displacement sensor returned to the balanced position in every sample interval according to the zero offset of the displacement sensor. The non-linear error caused by the rotation of the lever was, therefore, very small even if the measuring range was wide. The instrument can measure the roughness and the profile size of a curved surface.  相似文献

The purpose of the research was to develop and find out the efficiency of a web-based training package (WBT package), the effectiveness, the satisfaction, as well as the performance evaluation of housewife group of WBT on Yoga. Sample of 30 persons were the group of housewives from Soi Prachautit 15, Ratburana Region, Bangkok Metropolitan Area. Research tools were: (1) the WBT package on Yoga, (2) a user's manual of WBT package on Yoga; (3) an achievement test; (4) a questionnaire on the group of housewives' satisfaction, and (5) a performance evaluation form on Yoga. The research results revealed that the efficiency of the WBT package was at 80.08/82.89, which was higher than 80/80 as already identified by the criteria. When the average scores of pre-test (M=22.33, SD=3.13) and post-test (M=82.89, SD=-3.37) training were compared, it was found that the WBT package could increase the learning effectiveness to 60.56%, which met the criteria set of 60%. The mean scores of the group of housewives' satisfaction was at a good level (M=4.40, SD=-0.60). According to the Yoga performance evaluation on group of housewives, the average mean scores (M=3.81, SD=-1.62) of the group of housewives' training was 75% correct, and perfect as shown in the WBT package. Thus, the WBT package on Yoga could be used as a self-study.  相似文献
