自我管理是当代大学生必备的素质,也是当代大学生教育的重要内容。文章在对自我管理内涵约定的基础上,认为,自我管理是大学生事业成功的重要保障;自我管理能够提高大学生的活动绩效;自我管理有助于促进大学生的身心健康。大学生的自我管理能力的培养主要可以从这样几个操作层面进行:即学习管理、交往活动的管理、计划组织实施能力的管理、资源与机会管理、行为动力系统的管理、自我控制能力的管理、责任心的管理和健康管理等。  相似文献

This analysis attempts a systematic synthesis of the rather large body of research on college students' views on teaching and their assessment of the effectiveness of various attitudes, behaviors, and pedagogical practices of instructors. Across studies, the following characteristics are consistently associated with superior college teachers or teaching (as determined in a variety of ways): stimulation of interest; clarity and understandableness; knowledge of subject matter; preparation for, and organization of, the course; and enthusiasm for the subject matter and for teaching. Friendliness (concern and respect for students), helpfulness (availability), and openness to others' opinions (encouragement of class questions and discussion) are characteristics that students say they prefer in teachers (especially when they freely describe their ideal or best teacher and the characteristics they see as important to good teaching). However, a teacher's standing on these characteristics appears not to be particularly important to students' global assessment of their actual teachers on teacher-evaluation questionnaires. Finally, relative to other characteristics, certain regulative activities of the instructor are typically and consistently lower in importance for superior teaching, at least by the several indicators used in the studies under review. Both a sharpened sense of direction and promotion of specific institutional images seem necessary if the community college is to achieve a more distinct identity. Congruence between faculty and administrative preferences for possible directions and images seems vital if the direction and images are to be achieved. A randomly selected sample of full-time faculty and senior-level administrators in the State University of New York's thirty community colleges was surveyed to determine faculty and administrative preferences for four institutional directions and seven images for the community college. The results showed a surprising degree of congruence between faculty and administrators as to preferred direction and images. In addition, the relationship of certain demographic variables to preferences was examined, with limited correlations resulting. It was concluded that faculty and administrators were especially supportive of the institution's comprehensiveness since it provides a niche for everyone.  相似文献

Student and alumni reports of learning and development during college play an important role in research on educational outcomes. An intriguing finding of this research is the positive relationship between perceived learning and satisfaction with college. While studies have documented an association between perceptions of learning and satisfaction, the nature of the relationship is not clearly defined. This study evaluates two competing models of perceived learning and satisfaction. The first model represents a true relationship between learning and satisfaction, while the second treats the relationship as an artifact of a halo effect. Data came from subjects who completed learning and satisfaction questions as seniors and again two years after graduation. Analyses revealed that treating the learning-satisfaction relationship as an artifact of a halo effect provided the best representation of the data. Although not conclusive, results suggested that educational researchers and assessment practitioners should be careful in interpreting self-reports of learning and development, particularly as they relate to satisfaction with college.Presented at the Annual Forum of the Association for Institutional Research, Atlanta, Georgia, May 10–13, 1992.  相似文献
