浅谈现代远程教育之我见

远程教育也称为远距离教育(distance education),是指教师和学生依赖远程传播技术而进行的非面对面的教育形式。远程教育是相对于课堂教学而言的,课堂教学是一种师生双方面对面进行交流的教育形式,而远程教育由于有远程传播技术的支持,教师和学生双方是不直接见面的,相互的交流只能依靠于传播手段,超越了教育的时间和空间的限制。

现代远程教育发展与大众化学习

现代科学技术飞速发展 ,人类在不断创新中实现了无数的梦想 ,计算机技术和现代通迅技术在教育教学中的应用正悄然改变着人们获取知识的途径 ,新的学习方法正不断地涌现。从 d- c- learning(distance correspondence learning远程函授学习 )到 R& TV- learning(广播电视学习 )再到 e- learning(electronic learning电子学习 ) ,无不体现出现代科学技术的发展和应用对教育与学习方法产生的革命化变革 ,随着移动远程教育 (m obile distance education)的发展 ,2 1世纪的教育正朝着“有教无类”的大众化教育大踏步迈进。     

谈远距离教育研究方法论问题

一、当前远距离教育研究存在的问题广播电视大学的远距离教育研究当前存在的主要问题有如下几个方面:——远距离教育研究队伍没有形成,专职研究人员极少,大多数是兼职研究,其中主要是教学人员和管理人员。在教学人员当中,大多数由于忙于教学工作,很少有人涉足于研究。许多辅导教师不善于总结经验,更不善于把经验上升为理论研究。——远距离教育理论研究薄弱。特别是应用性理论研究和开发性理论研究比较少。与远距离教育相关的基础理论研究更为薄弱。——重复研究比较多。课题多半集中在上好辅导课、教学管理和生源问题,而且千篇一律,没什么新意、     

试论远距离教育的教学媒体建设

在学校教育中,主要有两种教学方式:一是近距离教学,其特征是以课堂教学为主,这是一种“人——人”教学模式,即一位教师面对几十位学生进行教学;二是远距离教学,其特征是以媒体教学为主,这是一种“物——人”教学模式,即以教学媒体对成千上万的学生组织教学.很显然,没有教学媒体,也就没有远距离教育.所以,教学媒体是远距离教育的重要要素.

Transformation Digital Divide into Digital Opportunities for Rural Population ——Research and Practice of Rural Distance Education and information Service in Beijing

The disparities between urban and rural areas are increasingly widening with the development of the ＂digital divide＂; however, information technology plays an important role in accelerating rural development. After investigation and analysis, Beijing Academy of Agricukure and Forestry Sciences （BAAFS） has schemed out a network transmission solution and an user application system, which are adaptable to the reality in China＇s rural areas and provide a distance education for farmers with e-lectures, multi-media courseware and other information services, including website, Agricultural voice information Consultative Service System, Agricultural Intelligence-System and 3S technology. The rural distance education and information service system greatly contributed to the information-driven agriculture, the qualifying of farmers and the rural development. This paper introduces the training and learning modes of adult education in rural areas through modem information technology. Furthermore, the paper discusses the problems encountered during the development of Beijing rural distance education.

Learning Assessment and Resource Evaluation： Two Tough Battles of Distance Education Xie Yangbin, Sang Xinmin Abstract：This is a dialogue among two scholars about current development and change of distance education in China. Although significant achievements have been made, many problems also emerged in the third generation of distance education. To solve these problems, the authors argue that building and refining a robust evaluation system is one of the priorities. Besides the evaluation of institution and its learning support service delivery, the components of this new system include various emerging models for assessment of learning and evaluation of instructor, curriculum and resources. Around this priority, Learning assessment and resource evaluation could he the first two breakthroughs in the reform of distance education, with the purpose to improve learners independent learning ability, self confidence and comprehensive quality. Benchmarks and quality assurance for online course development in higher education

As online education has entered the main stream of the U.S. higher education, quality assurance in online course development has become a critical topic in distance education. This short article summarizes the major benchmarks related to online course development, listing and comparing the benchmarks of the National Education Association （NEA）, the benchmarks of the American Distance Education Consortium （ADEC）, the benchmarks of the American Federation of Teachers, and the benchmarks of the Quality Matters project. In doing so the author hopes to promote awareness of and commitment to quality assurance in online education.
