But what's the bottom line?

What output indicator is it appropriate to take for economically purposive research? Is it the successful completion of the research, or its successful commercialisation, or its commercialisation in such a way that benefits accrue to the nation? This paper explores the divergence between the second and third of these “bottom lines”. For taxpayers it is the third that counts. Five items are suggested for a research and training agenda to improve performance from this point of view.

试论公司章程的自治底线

公司的设立经自由主义到特许主义、核准主义和严格准则主义的变化,公司法的私法性日益彰显,公司章程被看作股东间的自治契约。然而,公司章程自治不能完全信赖于当事人的自由协商,亦应受公司法强制性规则的限制,本文从原因分析入手,并结合具体内容,探讨公司章程的自治底线。     

雪山的雪线与高等教育的质量底线

2021年,我们课题组承接了四川某高校的一个横向课题,暑假期间多次飞往成都进行调研。课题完成之后,校方邀请课题组游览了位于四川甘孜州康定、道孚和丹巴三县交界处的雅拉雪山。此次雪山之行让我有了一个意外收获——雪山的雪线让我联想到了高等教育的质量底线。雅拉雪山,藏语全称为“夏学雅拉嘎波”(意为东方白牦牛山),海拔5820米(也有资料说是5884米),被康巴藏区的牧民视为心中的一座神山。     

Putting ourselves on the line: the epistemology of the hyphen,intersubjectivity and social responsibility in qualitative research

As researchers, we are intertwined in our research relationships in two ways that put us on the line. First, our very beings are co-constituted and developed in an intersubjective exchange with the people we work with. Acknowledging our interdependence frees us to take an empathetic and hermeneutic stance that I have termed the epistemology of the hyphen, in our qualitative research relationships, and in the process, reject the objectivist, dissociative mode of procuring research. Instead, we produce knowledge that is socially responsible by virtue of its grounding in empathy and care. Second, I suggest that we are also on the line when it comes to the relationship between ourselves, and our audiences. The constraints and freedoms that contour our voices as qualitative researchers shape not only the stories we tell about our participants, but also ourselves as human beings. We must incorporate affect into our reports for them to do justice to ourselves, our readers and listeners, and our participants.

文章运用文献分析、案例分析和逻辑分析等方法,在搜集国内学者对＂网络体育新闻娱乐化＂这一问题研究成果的基础上,通过新闻报道案例,分析网络体育新闻娱乐化操作中出现的误区：丧失真实.网络新闻相关法律法规的脱节、商业网站体育新闻报道空前的竞争压力以及网络媒体＂去中心＂话的特点是造成这一现象的主要原因.而完善法律法规,尤其是加强网络体育新闻从业人员的道德修养,树立＂我是新闻记者＂、＂核实、核实、再核实＂的专业理念才是解决问题的关键.     

从“各人自扫门前雪”谈道德底线

人们的社会行为善的最初级层次,人们有利于他人和社会的最基本的社会要求,人之所以成为道德人的最基本的道德量度,即是社会底线的道德规范,也就是所谓"道德底线"。"各人自扫门前雪,休管他人瓦上霜"给人带来的冷漠感可以直接作用到人们的道德生活之中,小恶可以养成大恶,道德标准也只能是底线。     

Guess Who's Coming to Dinner? Resetting the Table of Modernist Art

Racism has often been expressed in the form of physical violations of human rights, soul destroying emotional taunts and deliberate policies of social exclusion. Many educators who oppose such an approach would be horrified to find racist origins embedded in the aesthetic discourses which they have taken up as their own. In this paper I trace racist imagery and ideology in my own childhood, early schooling and adult art learning, and connect this with the persistent silencing of the black ‘other’ in the story of modernist art. As an educator of future art teachers the deconstruction of racist discourses is as essential as it is for pre‐service students in their own emergent art pedagogy.
