远程开放教育成人学习心理分析——对南京电大开放教育成人学生学习心理的调查

本文研究根据成人学习理论,采用问卷调查和个案访谈相结合的方式,从认知、情绪与情感、学习行为倾向性三个层面对南京电大开放教育成人学生的学习心理进行调查与描述,指出当前开放教育成人学习心理具有学习动机多样性、学习活动自发性、学习支持网络完整性、学习行为自主性和适度的学习自信心等特点。     

Design for learning: Adapting the microscopic anatomy laboratory to adult learners

Medical school curricula are undergoing transformational change in response to calls for integrating content across courses and years to enable better retention and application and for individualizing learning to meet the diverse backgrounds and thus differing needs of students. To address the related teaching challenges, faculty can employ solid principles of adult learning and instructional design and use teaching strategies that stimulate different learning styles. We developed laboratory sessions that follow a learner‐centered instructional design model we refer to as “PLHET,” reflecting the steps of preparing, linking, hooking, engaging, and transferring learning, and also applied teaching strategies that reflect Kolb's four styles of learning (accommodative, divergent, assimilative, and convergent). We utilized a group learning format to promote active learning, teamwork, and self‐direction. Preliminary data based on student surveys of laboratory activity show positive responses. In the future, we will test the hypothesis that this design will improve medical students' performance. Anat Sci Educ © 2013 American Association of Anatomists.

教育规划纲要提出要改革人才培养模式,这就要求充分发挥学生在学习中的主体作用,改变现在学生被教育、被学习的状况。给每个学生提供适合的教育,就要把学习的选择权还给学生。学校要减少必修课,增加选修课,为学生的学习选择创造条件。     

Structuring Dialogue with Students via Learning Tasks

We discuss a teaching approach that we believe promotes deep learning and diminishes the powerful voice of the teacher, thereby allowing students and the teacher to reason actively and inquire together in the classroom. This teaching approach is based on an integration of the concepts of dialogue and of mediation and utilizes learning tasks to structure dialogue with students during classroom meetings and outside the classroom, when students work independently. Students' experiences of this approach within the two courses reported on in the article were generally positive.

“从教到指导”的成人教育,提倡一种简单的教育理念。即在教育活动中,成年学生只有当他们成为充分的合作者,在决定诸如“应该学什么、如何学习以及为什么学习”等教育问题时,他们才享有充分的发言权和参与权,才可能学习得更好。实现上述转变的基本理念就是:“指导者”、“指导”、“对话”。     

自我导向学习及其与成人教育发展述评

自我导向学习孕育于成人教育,又推动成人教育的发展。自我导向学习对成人教育的发展影响巨大,奠定了成人教育学的学科基础,形成了成人学习的基本模式;澄清了成人学习认识上的误区,促进了成人学习研究的深化;推动了成人学习流派、学说的涌现和实践模式的建构。拓展理论基础、建构基本原理、加强课程领导和开发有效策略是自我导向学习在我国成人教育研究领域的发展趋势。     

Towards flexible learning for adult learners in professional contexts: an activity-focused course design

This article argues for a flexible model of learning for adults which allows them to make choices and contextualise their learning in a manner appropriate to their own professional practice whilst also developing as a member of a learning community. It presents a design based around online ‘learning activities’ which draws on ideas of constructivism, collaborative learning and reflective practice. The model was developed for adult learning in Higher Education, and has been adapted and extended to a number of different programmes. Implementation of the model for the Teaching Qualification (Further Education) has been the subject of an interpretative evaluation using a multiple methods approach. Learners' experiences of this programme together with issues associated with the application of the model to other programmes are discussed.     

A Research on Learner Retention and Learning Support

Why do some of adult learners successfully accomplish their learning while the others drop out？ This has been an important question in the field of adult learning. For a long time researchers has been exploring this subject around learning barriers as well as motivations. Not until lately did some of adult and distance scholars start to pay attention to the question of why some of the adult students could successfully push through their learning process even if they are in a disadvantaged situation. Thus, Learner Retention has become one of the important themes to discuss in order to understand more about how to assist learners to persist through their learning. The main purpose of this paper is to explore how adult learners persist through their learning and factors that might have influences on them. Adult teachers and NOU students （including those who already graduated and those who dropped out） were interviewed and surveyed. Concluding from those data and content of interviews, this paper set a model that describes how adult learner retain through their learning process and some suggestions are made for better student learning support policies.     

论成人教育在学习化社会中的构建模式

加入WTO后，我国的成人教育事业面临着无限机遇和严峻考验，而构筑新世纪成人教育新理念，建立终身教育化的学习型社会和多方位、多层次的全民教育新体系，在境外教育投资进入中国市场的激烈竞争中打造我国成教事业的精品品牌，参与国际教育竞争，则是我国成教事业的改革和发展前景。

当下,人工智能逐渐成为社会各领域热议的话题,人工智能的发展是一场影响人类日常生活与社会发展的技术性变革。成人教育在每一次科技变革中会产生直接广泛的社会效益,在人工智能浪潮的影响下,成人教育的发展必将受到影响与挑战。通过描述人工智能的兴起,从成人教育的活动场域、课程内容、实施主体等方面分析人工智能浪潮下成人教育发展境遇的可能性转变,研究反思成人教育迈向人工智能时代的合理路径。     

再造学员间网上聚会以创造更好的学生支持服务环境

本文旨在阐述以瑞典民众高中和学习协会为独特形式的瑞典非正规成人教育中远程教育的特征。依据瑞典民众高中和学习协会的办学哲学思想,“会议式学习”是建构式学习的基石,特别是当学习的目的不是为了应付考试而进行信息复制时,更是如此。当学生需要进行分析和批判性地讨论时,他们需要组织小组会议以取得对论题的深刻理解。“会议式学习”这一独特特征在瑞典民众高中和学习协会中的实践已有一个世纪之久。现在,这种在修课学员之间组织小组面对面会议又在现代远程教育中再现,以创造一个更灵活的学习环境,促进深层次学习和提供更好的学生支持服务。瑞典民众高中的教师和学习圈的圈长越来越意识到,在现代化的信息技术的辅助下,创造远程的更好的学习条件是可能的。他们还认识到,创建一个学员们可以聚会、互相学习并相互给予更好支持的虚拟网上论坛也是可能的。而且,实践结果越来越清楚地显示出:远程学习并不只是第二等的选择,与面对面的会议相比,两者各具优点。     

Dialogue education in the post‐secondary classroom: reflecting on dialogue processes from two higher education settings in North America

Initial teacher training for post‐compulsory education in England is currently undergoing profound change in terms of central direction of curricula and the provision of financial support for trainees. Within a discourse of the ‘professionalisation’ of teaching in the sector, unprecedented control of the detailed structure and content of training courses has been established and is increasing in extent. At the same time, principles of free access to Cert. Ed. and PGCE courses are being set aside, so that those universities which provide training are simultaneously contending with imposed curriculum change and with a serious threat to student recruitment. This article examines the origins and nature of these developments, considers the political and economic background from which they stem, and discusses in detail some features of the characteristic discourse of the reforms instituted by central government. It goes on to consider the likely effects of the recent and on‐going changes in university‐led training and suggests that the outcome of the reforms might be to undermine the government's own aspirations for professionalisation of the teaching workforce in post‐compulsory education.
