The Emergence of Football in Nineteenth-Century England: The Historiographic Debate

The work details the history of football that became established in the latter half of the nineteenth century, the view that social and economic changes resulted in football disappearing from the general community, only surviving in the various public schools, who played a codified game. It was these games that were transplanted to the general population, becoming the sports of rugby and soccer. This remained the established history of football until almost the twenty-first century, whence it was replaced by an increased acknowledgement that during the nineteenth century football did not die out. In fact, popularly played football during this period was conducted under strict rules. It is maintained that rugby and soccer were produced in the nineteenth century by a fusion of influences from both the public schools and wider communities.     

Women,Football and History: International Perspectives

This paper provides an overview of a collection of works related to women and football from international perspectives. After a general discursive introduction, the material discussed has its emphasis on studies connected to women and football that occur outside the locus of established scholarship. In particular, it is noted that the works concentrate on the geographic locations of New Zealand, Australia and the USA, and four major football codes are covered. The investigations are also not limited to women playing football, but female spectators and coterie groups are also considered. In terms of variety, different methodological and theoretical approaches are adopted, and a range of time periods are reflected on. Given the existing state of play, it would seem there is still much to be uncovered, documented and written about when it comes to women and the football codes. The conclusion is that any research agenda that emerges from observations on international perspectives concerning the relationship of women with football will continue to resonate and add value to wider understandings of sport and gender.

青少年足球发展基础的中小学学校足球运动是我国足球后备人才的培养体系的一个重要环节,对我国未来后备人才的建设和我国足球运动整体水平的提高有着重要的现实意义。本文通过文献资料法、调查法和数据分析法,对南阳市中小学足球运动的开展现状进行了深入的研究,对影响南阳市中小学足球运动开展的主要原因,提出了针对性的意见和建议。     

厦门市中学生开展足球运动的理性思考

通过对厦门市16所中学开展青少年校园足球活动情况进行全面的调查,采用走访、问卷、查阅文献资料等方法,客观地分析了厦门市各中学在开展足球活动中的现状。结果表明：中学生对足球运动的关注度高,学校对足球运动的宣传力度不够。各中学有着良好的场地环境和师资力量,应充分调动青年教师的积极性,发挥年轻人的聪明才智。市教委和市体育局应有计划、分步骤地在各中学进行足球活动的推广,并帮助他们解决一些实际问题。     

对中小学校创建足球俱乐部的初步研究

对中小学校足球俱乐部的概念进行了界定,就中小学校建立足球俱乐部的性质、组织特征、组织机构及其运行机制进行探讨,并提出相关建议,以期为体育管理部门提供决策参考,期待我国青少年足球运动员的培养取得突破性进展。     

The Origins of Football Debate: Comments on Adrian Harvey's Historiography

This article is intended as a reply to Adrian Harvey's recent historiography of football in which he continues to distort the story of the initial development of the game. It not only refutes the revisionist hypothesis of an influential football sub-culture based around public houses but also offers an alternative explanation of the game's past, largely based on the influence of ex-public schoolboys and former university undergraduates. It seeks to push the debate a step further by robustly re-asserting the meagre nature of the revisionist evidence in addition to Adrian Harvey's poor scholarship.     

我国小学校园足球训练质量评估指标体系研究

本文采用文献资料法、德尔菲法、层次分析法等,对我国小学校园足球训练质量评估指标体系进行研究。结果认为：在遵循指标科学性、重要性、操作性原则的基础上,通过对小学校园足球训练质量本身及训练环境的系统分析,初步构建了由教练行为、学生行为、训练环境3个一级评估指标、11个二级评估指标、46个三级评估指标构成的评估指标体系。     

加强体育社团建设 提高中学足球教学水平

坚定意志,团结合作,顽强拼搏,勇于奉献,这是中学生足球训练的理念。在当今实施素质教育的大环境中,教师必须坚持以学生的发展为中心,增强学生的体质为目的,根据学生的年龄特征和身心健康成长的规律,认真研究体育学科教材的人文性因素,切实引导学生加强体育锻炼的同时,积极构思足球教学方案,思考中学足球运动训练与足球教学的实施策略。该文分析中学阶段足球教学现状和加强中学体育社团建设,展现足球运动生机的问题,以及中学阶段足球运动训练策略。     

Football Hooliganism Revisited: A Belated Reply to Patrick Murphy,Eric Dunning and Joseph Maguire

In the light of the republication of my original article on ‘Football hooliganism in England before 1914’ in the volume Sports History: Critical Concepts, edited by Wray Vamplew and published by Routledge in 2014, I offer here a belated reply to the counter-critique of my arguments given by Patrick Murphy, Eric Dunning and Joseph Maguire in their article in the International Journal of the History of Sport in 1998. I regard this debate as still relevant to the academic discussion of the history of association football, particularly the concern about the social and historical origins of football hooliganism within an English context, despite the topic being rather less fashionable than it once was. I believe that my original article, and this reply to Murphy, Dunning and Maguire, make a contribution to the ongoing debate within sports history over the relevance of using particular forms of sociological theory (in this case, Norbert Elias' concept of a ‘civilising process’ operating in European history from the middle ages) to explain historical phenomenon. This paradigm, it is argued, distorts the historical interpretation of sport by the use of such a priori sociological arguments.

日本校园足球经典赛事的启示——以日本高中生足球锦标赛为例

采用文献资料法对日本高中生足球锦标赛进行分析,其成功经验是:赛事包装宣传出色,重视与电视媒体的合作;赛事品牌效应显著,商务运营成熟;赛制残酷、赛程紧密、赛事质量高;“应援”文化极具特色;赛事的竞技性与教育并重。对我国打造代表性校园赛事的启示:加强与主流媒体合作,扩大赛事影响力;打造赛事品牌,完善自身造血功能;培育特色赛事文化;赛事开展要与校园体育文化建设相关联,要具有教育意义。     

陕西省中小学足球运动现状调查与研究

采用文献资料、问卷调查等方法,对陕西省中小学足球运动现状进行调查分析。结果表明:经济水平、教育环境、师资力量等是制约陕西省中小学足球运动普及的主要因素。     

中国足球后备人才培养的历史回顾与反思

通过对中国足球后备人才培养的历史回顾与现状分析,发现中国在足球后备人才培养方面与世界足球强国相比严重缺乏力度。后备人才不仅人数少,而且质量差。中国足球要想得到较快与较大的发展,加强足球后边备人才培养工作显得尤为重要。     

西安市中小学足球竞赛现状及发展对策的研究

西安足球运动水平落后与后辈人才的缺乏和其学校足球的竞赛制度有关,笔者通过对西安市中小学校级、区级 和市级足球竞赛现状的调查,分析了目前学校足球竞赛活动开展不利的原因,并提出了几点建议。

新世纪中小学体育课程设置，要贯彻一个中心的指导思想；体现两个转变的教育观念；均衡竞技体育课程、传统体育课程、时尚体育课程三大种类的教学内容；突出促进学生身心健康、发展智能、规范操行、成功体验四大功能的作用，实现新世纪培养学生的教育目标。     

厦门高中足球运动员文化学习与生涯规划研究

对高中足球运动员的学习情况以及对未来发展的关注情况进行研究,以期提高他们学校生活质量以及在课堂上的参与度,使他们在日后能更好地融入社会生活中。本研究以厦门市高中228名足球运动员为样本,将收集到的数据编入SPSS统计软件中,对受试者的基本环境进行频度分析,用卡方检验性别、年级等差异。本研究的主要结果如下:第一,大多数运动员对于自身的足球运动生活感到满意;第二,高中足球运动员有将近一半担心自己在学习成绩上的不足会影响他们将来的发展;第三,有将近一半的运动员还没有为自己未来的生涯做任何规划;第四,大多数高中足球运动员认同学校正规文化学习的必要性和重要性,希望学校可以更好地为他们安排校内正规课程或者校内补课。     

大连市少年足球教练员能力水平的调查分析

近几年,随着我国足球职业化改革的不断深入,培养足球后备人才的中坚力量——少年足球也在不断的发展。但时至今日各足球俱乐部、学校的足球教练员的训练能力和水平参差不齐。此文采用文献资料、访问调查、问卷调查等研究方法对大连市的足球教练员的现状和能力水平进行研究,通过研究提出了提高教练员水平的的建议和对策。     

高校足球运动员运动损伤情况调查分析

近几年,引进高水平足球运动员的高校越来越多,高校间足球比赛的水平大大提高,比赛的对抗程度、激烈程度明显增强,随之而来发生的运动损伤有上升趋势。如何预防或者减少这些损伤,成了目前高校足球运动发展所要面临的又一个重要课题。本文运用问卷调查结合访谈方式对江苏11所高校足球队训练比赛中的损伤情况进行了调查,通过对原因的分析,提出一些建议和预防的措施。     

高校开展三人制足球比赛的研究

调查研究表明,在高校开展三人制足球比赛,更有利于促进高校大学生健身活动的广泛开展,既提高了高校足球课教学质量,推动高校足球运动的普及与提高,也能有效地解决大学生学习和参与足球活动的矛盾。
