论中国特色社会主义民主的完善

本文研究共分三部分:第一部分介绍了民主研究对中国的现实意义:简要论述了民主建设在我国的研究现状,分析了产生这种状况的历史原因和现实原因。第二部分详细论述了完善中国特色民主的具体措施:完善人大民主、改造政协制度、完善中国共产党领导下的多党合作制、改革和完善县级及县以下的政权制度、合理减少行政审批、完善司法民主、加强经济文化领域的民主建设、充分发挥信息媒体的监督作用、建立协商民主、培育社会民主及积极加强党内民主建设。第三部分进一步揭示了民主建设对于中国特色社会主义建设的意义,特别是民主与社会主义之间的密切联系急需进一步研究。

中国的早期现代化以洋务运动为其开端,继之戊戌变法、辛亥革命掀起政治民主文化的浪潮,但终因封建思想文化的严重阻挠而归于失败。五四新文化运动高举民主、科学两面旗帜,其价值取向在于扫清中国通向现代化道路上的思想文化障碍。在当代,五四时期所祈求的民主与科学,是我国现代化建设事业的基本动力、重要保证和必由之路。
