二十一世纪我国图书馆职业伦理研究综述

二十一世纪我国学界关于图书馆职业伦理研究,可简要归纳为三个方面:基础理论、职业伦理建设、国外介绍借鉴及中外比较研究.基础理论研究层次深度有所突破,职业伦理建设研究存在低层次重复现象,比较研究有待深入联系实际.建议图书馆职业伦理研究准确使用概念,加强理论认识的系统性,理论联系实际,重视运用实证方法.     

国外图书馆老年痴呆服务综述

随着老年痴呆对中国家庭幸福与社会和谐稳定的影响加深,预防和减缓老年痴呆成为健康中国的重要战略目标,老年痴呆服务也应成为图书馆服务创新点,国内图书馆至今较少开展老年痴呆服务。本文系统归纳国外图书馆老年痴呆服务相关文献,发现国外图书馆老年痴呆服务体系比较健全,基于阅读有助于预防和延缓老年痴呆发生的科学理论,探索形成图书馆服务指南、回忆法、记忆工具包等丰富经验,对国内图书馆界提升老年痴呆服务水平有重要的参考价值。

根据多年工作经验,就医学图书馆馆员必须具备的职业能力和职业素养进行思考,以期引起图书馆领导层对人力资源的重视,促进医学图书馆事业健康、科学的发展。     

知识生态视角下图书馆职业能力研究CSSCI

知识生态理论是知识管理的拓展与延伸。论文结合知识生态学理论,从传统图书馆职业能力种群、继承性图书馆职业能力拓展种群和图书馆职业能力生态种群等方面进行研究,构建了图书馆职业能力知识生态体系模型,包含了图书馆职业能力各层面的生态种群。知识生态视角下图书馆职业能力研究是对图书馆用户、知识、技术等方面的统一概括、诠释拓展、继承和"转身"。     

近十年国外图书馆职业发展概况和态势

以专门图书馆协会为主要研究对象，比较世纪之交前后5年对图书馆职业变化和角色定位的认识发展历程以及图书馆员资质和能力的要求变化，并且对图书馆行业的合作伙伴和图书馆界的流行语汇的发展和演变做了分析和说明，考察了近10年来国外图书馆职业的发展概况和态势。     

图书馆人力资源管理国外研究简述

本文运用文献分析法对国外相关文献进行了梳理,分析表明,国外,尤其是美国图书馆界,从20世纪前半叶以来一直在关注图书馆人力资源的研究,虽然研究成果的总量近年来有减少趋势,但现有的文献从多种角度揭示了图书馆人力资源管理的方方面面,已形成较为完善的理论体系和实践基础。

通过对图书馆职业精神概念的理解、图书馆行业核心能力和个体图书馆核心能力的特性的分析,提出了图书馆职业精神是图书馆的根本。图书馆行业核心能力从全局出发着眼于竞争性,体现图书馆精神核心内容——公正、公平、公益性原则的图书馆制度就是它的核心能力。行业内具体图书馆的核心能力更注重协作性,是图书馆职业精神在实践工作中的支撑点。图书馆个体核心能力就是利用专业技能对本馆特色资源进行组织和挖掘,为本馆用户提供知识资源的最大化利用价值的综合能力。     

The Profile of a Modern Filipino Librarian: An Examination of Perceived Competencies

ABSTRACT

This research created a profile of a modern LIS professional by discussing the competencies and skills essential in successfully conducting one's duties. Through a series of focus group discussions and interviews, the researcher identified essential competencies modern LIS professionals should possess. Aside from traditional skills such as cataloging and classification; indexing and abstracting; and library management, non-traditional competencies such as communication skills, advocacy skills, teaching skills, and technological skills were revealed to be vital competencies. These were identified and further supported by discussions of actual library work experiences. In the end, a profile was created it was concluded that a modern LIS professional should be pro-active; an effective communicator; well-informed; adaptable; and should advocate causes relevant to the practice of librarianship.

文章对1995-2004年10年中我国图书馆立法研究进行了综述,揭示了我国图书馆立法研究所取得的成就及其存在的问题.     

Core competencies for information professionals of Thai academic libraries in the next decade (A.D. 2010–2019)

This research aimed to develop core competencies framework for information professionals of Thai academic libraries in the next decade (2010–2019). The study consisted of two phases, Phase 1- the study of opinions about the roles of Thai academic libraries and information professionals in the next decade (Tanloet & Tuamsuk, 2011) and Phase 2- the development of core competencies framework conducted by using the Delphi technique. This paper presents Phase 2 of the study. The research conceptual framework on core competencies for information professionals was synthesized and adopted from several resources including [Gulati and Raina, 2000] , [Gorman and Corbitt, 2002] , [Abels et?al., 2003] and [Ashcroft, 2004] and University of Nebraska-Lincoln Library (2007). The subject of this small Delphi study included 21 experts from the following three groups: eight instructors of library and information science, eight administrators/practitioners of academic libraries, and five scholars who have had active roles in the library and information professionals. Data were collected in three rounds and analyzed by using the median, mode, and inter-quartile range. Results of the study were concluded and discussed on the three following core competencies for information professionals of Thai academic libraries in the next decade. 1) The Knowledge - consists of eight areas including knowledge of the foundations of information profession, information resources, information and knowledge management, information technology, library and information services, organizational management, research and user studies, and continuing education and lifelong learning. 2) The Skills – consist of 11 skills including user services, information resource management, information technology, marketing, language and communication, team working, analytical thinking, problem solving and decision making, management and planning, teaching and training, conceptual thinking, and knowledge management skills. 3) The personal attributes – consist of seven characteristics including the leadership, service mentality, morals and professional ethics, achievement motivation, accountability, self-management and adaptability.     

智慧图书馆建设视角下馆员元数据核心能力构建

构建与智慧图书馆建设目标相适配、与实践需求相结合的馆员核心能力体系,能够有效促进馆员的专业化发展,对于全国智慧图书馆体系建设也具有重要意义。本文通过梳理国家级战略规划以及图书馆“十四五”发展规划,挖掘智慧图书馆建设中元数据管理需求,确定战略目标;参考元数据馆员岗位职责,分析战略目标实现过程中的各项元数据活动;基于已有馆员核心能力标准,梳理馆员元数据核心能力要素。根据布鲁姆教育目标分类法,将核心能力分为三类：能懂(记忆与理解)、能做(分析与应用)和能创新(评价与创造),构建馆员元数据核心能力框架,该框架可以作为评估馆员元数据能力的分级标准,有助于培养元数据管理人才,为智慧图书馆建设提供人才支撑。图1。表5。参考文献28。     

Developing Teaching Competencies for Instructors in the Academic Library

Abstract

A university library developed a list of teaching competencies with three goals in mind: (1) to improve the quality of teaching in the information literacy program, (2) to create an outline for training in pedagogy, and (3) to provide a mechanism for self and peer assessment in library instruction. The authors describe the development process and discuss the rationale for each set of skills and behaviors. The article includes the list of competencies.

图书情报硕士专业学位(MLIS)研究生需要具备扎实的专业知识素养、职业实践技能、社会协同能力和创新创业才能,其核心能力的缺失会造成人才竞争优势降低、学科声望提升受阻、图情事业发展驱动不足,以及图情教育缺乏支持等不良后果。文章提出通过采取优化培养方案、深化课程改革、加强实践教育、开展协作办学等措施,提升MLIS获得者的核心能力,进而克服跨专业报考教育劣势、功利目的严重、培养方案同质、师资水平失衡等制约MLIS人才培养的不利因素。     

Library and Informatics Skills Competencies Statements from Major Health Professional Associations

Every major health profession now provides competency statements for preparing new members for their respective professions. These competency statements normally include expectations for training health professions students in library/informatics skills. For purposes of this article, searches were conducted using various sources to produce a comprehensive 32-page Compendium <https://repository.unm.edu/handle/1928/15363> that inventories library/informatics-related competency statements. This compendium should aid readers in integrating their library/informatics skills training into various health professions education curricula.
