Lammerite as a Degradation Product of Emerald Green: Scientific Studies on a Rural Persian Wall Painting

Pigments on a figurative wall painting in Poudeh village, central Iran, were analysed by micro X-ray fluorescence spectrometry, micro Raman spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy coupled with energy dispersive X-ray spectrometry, micro Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffractometry, and polarised light microscopy. Red lead, ultramarine blue, chrome yellow, brass powder, white huntite, and lammerite (Cu₃(AsO₄)₂) were identified as red, blue, yellow, golden, white, and green pigments, respectively, while gypsum and barite were used as extender. In addition, glushinskite (MgC₂O₄·2H₂O) was identified as a deterioration product of white huntite. Moreover, several analytical studies suggested that lammerite was a degradation product of emerald green (Cu(CH₃COO)₂·3Cu(AsO₂)₂) originally used as green pigment in the painting. The formation of lammerite is suggested to be due to the migration of arsenic throughout the paint layer. Based on the pigments identified, the wall painting is dated from the mid-nineteenth century to the mid-twentieth century.     

In-House Training on New Library Processes at the NIST Research Library: A Case Study

This case study describes the development and implementation of a home-grown internal training program to teach the reference staff at a U.S. federal government library a new process for obtaining research materials that are not owned through alternative means rather than through the traditional interlibrary loan. Proficiency in the new process and increased use of existing resources were goals of the program. Included are the activities related to planning, logistics, success indicators, and lessons learned in the development and delivery of the in-house training program.     

行政法视域下的档案征购制度研究——兼论新《档案法》第二十二条

针对新修订的《中华人民共和国档案法》第二十二条第一款保留“档案征购”这一规定,从行政法视域下展开研究。辨析了档案征购不同于其他四类具体行政行为的独立性特点,对其立法沿革进行了梳理;指出了档案征购所面临的法律规范支撑不足、尺度与界限不明、实践中概念泛化等问题;参考借鉴了国外档案法规中有关非国有档案收集工作的法律条款,对我国非国有档案收集问题给出了三项立法建议:采用明确规范的法律术语、强化配套所有权监管制度设计、增加柔性化替代性措施的种类。     

社会化媒体平台中个人知识管理机制研究——基于社会网络分析的视角

社会网络分析是知识管理的重要研究范式。本研究试图以社会网络为视角,分析社会化媒体平台 中个人知识管理机制。从微观层面看,要将个人知识管理置于社会化媒体的情境中,在互动理念下实现 隐性知识与显性知识的转化。从宏观层面看,要从社会资本的视角审视知识共享与协作。具体来看,强 弱关系影响知识传播意愿,网络结构影响知识传播机会,个人认知影响知识管理能力。

以Thomson Innovation（TI）数据库作为数据来源,对2004至2013年间授权的文化产业相关美国专利进行了检索、清洗和分析。从领域总体的逐年授权情况和技术生命周期,各子类的专利总量和年度变化,以及专利权人的类型结构和主要专利权人信息等角度深入考察了世界文化产业专利的发展趋势、应用态势以及竞争格局,并发现其中存在的一些不平衡现象,这一现象由需求拉动和技术推动两个因素导致。进而结合专利所属IPC（International Patent Classification）分类,验证了信息技术是当代文化产业发展的主要驱动力量,并依据研究结论提出一些对策建议。

应正确著录学位论文等3类参考文献——匡正《参考文献著录规则发展的历史脉络及新国标研究》中的谬误

为了避免对GB/T 7714-2015《信息与文献参考文献著录规则》的使用者产生误导,辨析《出版发行研究》2015年第11期刊登的《参考文献著录规则发展的历史脉络及新国标研究》一文中存在的对新标准的条款理解错误、所列举的示例明显与新标准不一致,以及部分参考文献的著录不正确等问题,并以新标准及相关文献为依据,对谬误做了匡正.     

单篇文献的引文计量指标与Altmetrics的比较分析——以ESI的HotPapers为例

通过选取不同的数据源和分析方法探究Altmetrics文献计量方式对传统的引文计量方式的影响,以及这些计量指标如何评价单篇论文的影响力。结合ESI数据库热点文章的被引频次与Scopus平台提供的Altmetrics各项计量指标,尝试利用SPSS统计软件来分析传统的引文评价指标与Altmetrics各评价指标之间的相关性和差异性。通过研究分析发现:以引文为评价基础的ESI热点文章并不一定对应Altmetrics的高分值文献;进一步的研究从评价论文影响力的5个指标中简化为2个公因子——社交传媒因子和学术引用因子,可从不同群体对文献的不同传播利用方式来评价一篇论文的影响力;不同出版模式的文献在各评价指标上也有显著的差异。     

从文献资源共享到服务共享——图书馆2．0共享新模式研究

对于图书馆的共享问题,长期以来都是图书馆行业的理想。由于管理模式、共享体制的设计、文献知识产权保护等因素,图书馆长期以来奉行的“文献资源共享”并没有达到理想状态。文章认为,在图书馆2．0时代——读者的时代,图书馆应更加关注“读者服务”,发展以用户为核心的服务共享,因此,图书馆可以尝试借鉴银行业的银联模式,按照“平等、统一、共享、参与”的原则,构建基于文献服务的图书馆共享新模式。该文为2009年第五期“重庆大学图书馆2．0实践”专题文章之一。     

Sixth Graders Take on Television: Media Literacy and Critical Attitudes of Television Violence The research was supported by a service learning grant from the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences at the University of MassachusettsAmherst.

This study outlines the effectiveness of a media literacy curriculum in changing attitudes about media violence through critical discussions and analytical viewing exercises. Ninety-three sixth graders participated in a curriculum focusing on “high-risk” ways of presenting violence in the media. Results of a one-group, pre-test post-test design suggest that participation in the curriculum was associated with an increase in critical attitudes about the topic. Open-ended responses also demonstrated enhanced sophistication in analyzing media violence after the curriculum. The study has potentially important implications for media education and media violence.
