目前,虽然增刊的“口碑”不是太好,但各期刊社出版增刊已是一种普遍现象。这里有追求经济效益的因素在里边,但同时出版增刊也是有一定的意义和作用的。《辽宁师范大学学报》(自然科学版)出版增刊的实践说明只有正刊办得好,才能为增刊的出版提供可能的平台;同时,增刊是正刊的有益补充。  相似文献

《商洛学院学报》2000~2005年载文信息分析   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
利用文献计量学方法,以《商洛学院学报》2000~2005年发表的844篇论文为统计样本,统计结果显示,期均发文量32、5篇,篇密度为0.295篇,篇均页数3.39页;自然科学类论文350篇,占总发文量的41.47%,社会科学类论文494篇,占总发文量的58,53%;刊发获得各级各类基金资助论文数量呈逐年递增趋势,平均有15.0S%的论文获得基金资助(其中获得基助的自然科学类论文占自然科学类论文总发文的24.0%,获得基助的社会科学类论文占社会科学类论文总发文的8、7%);特色栏目共发文128篇,占总发文量的15,17%。分析了学报的优势与特色及其存在的问题与不足.为刊物进一步发展提供科学的量化依据。  相似文献

采用文献计量学的研究方法,对《福建师大福清分校学报》2006-2010年的载文、作者和引文的情况进行统计分析,并与相关的文献进行了比较。结果表明:该刊30期共载文731篇,基金项目论文占11.49%,篇均页码4.51页;论文合著率28.3%,合作指数1.41;第一作者中具有高级职称的占29.8%,女性占45.28%,年龄在35岁以下的占48.84%;篇均引文8.2条,英文引文占10.02%,期刊类引文占44.64%,引文质量有待于提高。并以此为依据,就《福建师大福清分校学报》在如何提高办刊质量、培育作者队伍以及引导文献引用等方面提出了几点建议。  相似文献

This paper examines one mode of mathematical communication: that of student journal writing in mathematics. The focus of the discussion is a study of four years' use of journal writing in mathematics involving approximately 500 students in Grades 7 through 11 in a particular Victorian secondary school. The evaluation of the experimental use in one school of journal writing in mathematics provides a powerful demonstration of the link between language and mathematics and suggests a relationship between students' mathematical writings and their perceptions of mathematics and mathematical activity.The research reported in this paper was funded in part by a grant from the National Center for Research in Mathematical Sciences Education, University of Wisconsin-Madison.  相似文献

以《浙江大学学报(工学版)》、《四川大学学报(工程科学版)》、《山东大学学报(工学版)》、《郑州大学学报(工学版)》、《南昌大学学报(工科版)》、《吉林大学学报(工学版)》、《武汉大学学报(工学版)》7种高校学报工学版2006—2008年3年的载文数据为考察对象,分析了此7种学报工学版的载文量、出版时滞、论文的基金资助情况、第一作者地域分布、年龄分布和职称与学历概况以及7种高校学报工学版目前被国外重要数据库和国内各类核心期刊数据库的收录情况,同时对如何加强高校学报工学版的相互协作和扩大学术影响力提出了一些建议。  相似文献

This article briefly reviews the coverage of higher education in the pages of this journal since its inception. It reflects on the changing role of the academic journal during this period, on some of the related changes which have taken place in academia itself as well as changing fashions in the study of history of education. Its central arguments are that the ways in which the history of universities and higher education have been treated in History of Education are, at one and the same time, both a reflection of these developments and a commentary on them. It concludes with a call for new and wider approaches to the study of higher education which go well beyond the narrow institutional and national accounts which have dominated recent writing to reflect contemporary globalisation and the swiftly changing world in which we live now.  相似文献

Using a comparative case study approach, the researcher followed 13 instructors for 2 years as they attempted to integrate the Visible Human Dissector, an educational software program, into their undergraduate anatomy courses. Instructors were motivated to use the software as a supplement for limited educational resources and because of its ability to provide students with novel educational experiences. Obstacles in technology access and services as well as organizational factors prevented integration. However, personal hesitancy and lack of confidence, posited to be a major obstacle to integration in the literature, played only a minimal role in slow integration for these instructors. The greatest obstacles to changes in instruction supported by the new technology were difficulties in finding computers to run the software in traditional anatomy laboratories.Timothy Weston currently works as research associate for the Alliance for Technology, Learning and Society (ATLAS), Institute Evaluation and Research Group at the University of Colorado, Boulder. He received the Ph.D. from the University of Colorado in Research and Evaluation Methodology in Education and a B.A. in Psychology from Metropolitan State University (1993). His interests include the evaluation of educational technology and the use of web-based assessment for formative course evaluation in undergraduate science.  相似文献

Volume 23 (1) of this journal was a special issue on Education and Development guest-edited by Fred Lazin (Ben Gurion University of the Negev, Israel), Samuel Aroni (University of California at Los Angeles, USA) and Yehuda Gradus (Ben Gurion University of the Negev, Israel). The guest editors comment in this article on the issues which arise from the papers they selected for inclusion in the special issue. In developing countries higher education has to face the problems associated with nation-building and the drive towards fast economic growth; in more developed countries there is the challenge implicit in the social and economic changes necessarily associated with the transition to post-industrial societies. According to the dominant historiographical narrative, the social reconstructionists were a homogeneous group with a shared social, political, economic, and educational agenda. However, the pages of the journal The Social Frontier are replete with evidence that they were not in agreement on significant issues, especially when it came to the proper role of teachers in reform efforts. In fact, a close look reveals that the social reconstructionists presented multiple, overlapping, and often conflicting theories and strategies to advance the reconstruction of society, while explicating different roles for teachers therein. When teachers are placed at the center of the investigation, their factionalism, which has been discussed previously by C.A. Bowers and James Giarelli in their studies of the journal, is conspicuously apparent. Analysis of the different conceptions of teachers presented in The Social Frontier (subsequently titled Frontiers of Democracy) reveals that collectively, the social reconstructionists engaged in “more than one struggle”; and individually, they held views that were influenced by personal priorities and responses to the Depression, the spread of Communism and Fascism, the start of war in Europe and Asia, and, eventually, the involvement of the United States in World War II.  相似文献
