Analysis and application of error concealment tools in AVS-M decoder

Audio Video coding Standard (AVS) is the latest audio and video coding standard of China. AVS Part 7 (also known as A VS-M) targets mobility applications where error concealment is of great importance. This paper first briefly introduces the general concept of error concealment. Then two error concealment schemes are proposed and implemented on AVS-M decoder under different test conditions. Simulation results of the schemes and suggestions on how to use these tools are also provided.

An Exploration of the Concept of Learner Autonomy

The concept of learner autonomy is well known as very complex as many scholars put emphasis on differences between his ideas and others’. That no consensus has reached so far puzzles us. However, a good understanding of autonomy is the basis of putting development of autonomy into practice. Through examining common features of different concepts and explaining the relationship between autonomy and its related concepts, the highly condensed qualities of "relativity" and "duality" are put forward and some implications about specific ways of fostering autonomy in Chinese educational context are also discussed.     

Modeling and robustness of knowledge network in supply chain

The growth and evolution of the knowledge network in supply chain can be characterized by dynamic growth clustering and non-homogeneous degree distribution.The networks with the above characteristics are also known as scale-free networks.In this paper,the knowledge network model in supply chain is established,in which the preferential attachment mechanism based on the node strength is adopted to simulate the growth and evolution of the network.The nodes in the network have a certain preference in the choice of a knowledge partner.On the basis of the network model,the robustness of the three network models based on different preferential attachment strategies is investigated.The robustness is also referred to as tolerances when the nodes are subjected to random destruction and malicious damage.The simulation results of this study show that the improved network has higher connectivity and stability.

A note on the Marcinkiewicz integral operators on Fp^a,q

In this paper, we shall prove that the Marcinkiewicz integral operator #n, when its kernel Ω satisfies the L^1-Dini condition, is bounded on the Triehel-Lizorkin spaces. It is well known that the Triehel-Lizorkin spaces are generalizations of many familiar spaces such as the Lehesgue spaces and the Soholev spaces. Therefore, our result extends many known theorems on the Marcinkiewicz integral operator. Our method is to regard the Marcinkiewicz integral operator as a vector valued singular integral. We also use another characterization of the Triehel-Lizorkin space which makes our approach more clear.
