浅论施蛰存小说中的双文本性

从《上元灯》到《善女人行品》,施蛰存的小说有一种一以贯之的联系。他的小说或存在两种叙述声音,或具有双文本性可作双重的解读,而正是这种双文本性向我们再现了人性的复杂。也引起了我们对人的内心探索的兴趣。     

论《世说》开始有意为小说

<正>《世说新语》又称《世说》,“世”指人世,“说”指小说,即人世间的小说,亦即“志人小说”.《世说》的文体之为小说,基本上无异议.除《孙氏祠堂书目》称其为《史学传记类》外,《隋书经籍志》、《旧唐书经籍志》、《新唐书艺文志》、《崇文总目》、《通志》、《郡斋读书志》、《直斋书录解题》、《文献通考》、《宋史艺文志》、《百川书志》和《四库全书总目提要》等或称其为“子部小说家”,或直称其为“小说类”.而对其是否有意为小说,则迄今尚有存疑.鲁迅先生早在1924年,在西安讲学,指出“六朝人并非有意为小说”,(《中国小说之历史变迁》)似乎形成了一种定论:即是说进入了唐传奇的时代之后,才“始有意为小说”.浅见认为在无意识的朦胧状态下,居然能创作出象《世说》那样初具规模而且艺术成就极高的小说,的确有些不可思议.应该说,小说作为一种文体,自然有其渐进的发展演变过程.我们不能囿于鲁迅一家之言而停滞不前.因为科学研究的价值全在于在实事求是的基础上对以前的学术成果加以发展和创新,而不能满足于停留在自己的论点和名家的结论相吻合就行了.我们一定要面对《世说》作品的本身,来探索其是否开始有意为小说.     

晚清稀见小说期刊介绍(二)

继１９９９年９月我在南京“天宫斋”购得晚清稀见小说期刊三种《图画旬报》、《大罗画报》、《图画日报》）以后,我便开始对晚清时期出版的各类小说刊物发生了十分的兴趣,并注意起这方面资料的搜集。经过将近二个月的工作,一批过去鲜为人知的小说期刊、报纸开始浮出水面。如《新世界画册》、《游戏杂志》、《潇湘小说》、《新世界小说报》、《小说世界日报》、《七日小说》、《小说世界》、《觉民报》等。虽然其中有些报纸或杂志,或因为书商要价太高,一时无法购入;或因为藏在“深宫人不知”,一时间无暇整理,但由于已经有了权威的证…     

《大马扁》:“假小说以施诬蔑”的巅峰之作

黄世仲的《大马扁》是一部适应清季革命形势,出于政治斗争需要而诬蔑康有为等人的章回小说。它继承和发展了唐代"假小说以施诬蔑之风",并达到登峰造极的地步。从《大马扁》的这种小说性质出发,我们可以正确认识学界对它或褒或贬的评价,并给予它在中国小说史上一个恰如其分的位置。     

“比较阅读”的教学效果

根据高中语文第三册中关于比较阅读的单元知识和训练的要求。我们进行了这一尝试。对鲁迅的小说《药》中的夏四奶奶,叶圣陶的小说《夜》中的老妇人,高尔基的小说《母亲》中的尼洛夫娜,这三个母亲形象进行了比较阅读,收到了以往单篇教学或一般阅读教学所无可比拟的教学效果。时代不同,命运相同。鲁迅的《药》写于1919年,反映的是辛亥革命前后的社会现实。叶

论钱锺书小说化用旧作的现象

钱锺书的《围城》和《人兽鬼》存在化用旧作的现象,即化用早于《围城》和《人兽鬼》的《写在人生边上》及《人生边上的边上》中某个情节或语句,或直接引用,或稍加点染。揭示此类化用,有助于我们从另一个角度对钱锺书小说的创作旨趣有所认识。     

《娇红记》:小说与戏曲辨
