乌托邦视域中的旅游本质再认识

旅游与乌托邦都是颇有争议的概念,但是旅游所包含的审美和精神愉悦两种元素,所蕴含的人类生命自由价值、精神价值以及健康的乌托邦精神所包含的理想主义和超越批判的精神有助于消解现代性悖论带给人们的精神和情感危机,这些却是不可争议的。把对旅游的研究置于现代性和乌托邦相互观照的视角下,对旅游的本质进行重新认识和评价,在乌托邦的视域中寻求旅游在社会发展中的意义。由此来说,旅游是通往乌托邦的桥梁,旅游目的地是一个异域的理想化的乌托邦,是旅游者的精神家园。健康的乌托邦精神启迪旅游者的心智,美学向度的"畅神"使旅游者在批判现实中消除现代性悖论造成的苦恼,摆脱内心的浮躁,探索自我,超越自我,以乌托邦的方式实现内在精神生活的升华。

诗意地栖居：一种乌托邦的想象

德国存在主义哲学家马丁·海德格尔引用荷尔德林的诗句,并将其中的“诗意地栖居”界定为“与诸神共在,接近万物的本质”。在他看来,在大地上诗意地栖居是一种与技术性栖居艰难抗争的本真栖居。他将挽救社会异化的希望寄托于诗性艺术,然而,技术与艺术本身的矛盾性表明“诗意地栖居”只是一种乌托邦的想象,不具有可行性。     

高等学校思想政治理论课是大学生思想政治教育的主阵地,更是在大学生中推进马克思主义大众化的主阵地。由于当前思想政治理论课在亲和力方面还有欠缺,导致课堂效果不够理想。因此,建议以课堂语言为突破口,从巧用多种形式的导入,借鉴、运用网络先进文化和多媒体技术等方面入手,实现课程优化。

生态社会主义向人们展示了人与自然和谐相处的生动画面,然而却由于该理论的内在缺陷和矛盾而显露出浓重的乌托邦特征。根源在于生态社会主义在“生态学”理想和“人本”关怀间徘徊,虽然坚持了“社会主义”原则,却背离了科学社会主义的实质,对实现生态社会主义主体力量存在着犹豫和矛盾。尽管如此,生态社会主义的这种乌托邦想象对于中国特色社会主义现代化建设仍然具有重要的现实意义。

关联主义和新建构主义都是网络时代的学习理论.前者关注的是学习的外部过程,后者关注的是学习的内部过程,两者可以互为补充.通过对两种理论的异同点的比较与分析,提出了将两者互相融合、共同指导网络时代学习的基本思想,并对网络时代的知识产权问题进行了讨论.     

Beyond Intimaphobia: Object lessons from Foucault and Sade

In this study I suggest ways of thinking through issues of intimacy that have emerged in the late twentieth and early twenty-first centuries in the USA. I propose a state of intimaphobia in education. However, I move beyond exposing this state of intimaphobia to offer particular readings of two philosophers of intimacy: Michel Foucault and the Marquis de Sade. I argue that these two philosophers provide alternative models of thinking through the problems and potentials of and for intimacy. While Foucault has been taken up within education in any number of ways, his concept of the ‘homosexual’ is utilized to offer insights into intimacy. Sade, while the stranger philosopher to engage, offers challenges to contemporary educational practices through the lessons of the libertine. Foucault and Sade offer, to put it simply, promises for pedagogical pleasures that challenge the current fears around intimacy in education.

长期以来,作为西方文学史上重要文学现象的乌托邦文学,尤其是乌托邦及反乌托邦小说没有受到应有的重视,这种情况在中国尤其为甚。这在一定程度上既遮蔽了我们对西方文学史整体景观的了解与鉴赏,也阻隔了我们获得有价值的文学思想资源的可能性。作为研究存在的亚小说文类,乌托邦小说及反乌托邦小说能为我们走近存在,走近人自身的生存境遇,反思我们的文学观,进而重写文学史提供独特视角。     

The Chilly Classroom: Beyond Gender

Abstract. Perceptions of student/professor competence and the reasons for a "chilly" classroom were investigated through a survey of 2,042 students from seventy-seven liberal arts colleges. Chi-square and Mann-Whitney tests showed statistically significant different responses by gender for all the questions. The perceptions of competence survey showed mixed results. With regards to professor competence, female students were much more likely to believe that male professors were viewed as more competent and treated with more respect. With regards to reasons for a "chilly" classroom, neither female nor minority students cited gender or race as a primary reason. In fact, the three most frequent reasons given by all students (regardless of race or gender) were difficulty of course content, professor's teaching style/personality, and personality style of classmates.

This essay analyzes a local civic debate in which the purposive, referential, and deliberative structures of an argument by comparison are rendered inoperative. In so doing, it advances our understanding of the rhetoric of exemplarity, widens our conception of democratic political contention, and directs scholarly attention to local forums of civic life, where rhetorical motive often gives way to pure persuasion, reasoned debate commonly slips into everyday talk, democratic deliberation frequently verges on radical dissensus, and emotional investments routinely culminate in affective events.
