文化发展理念下学校艺术教育的思考和实践

艺术是一种文化形态,艺术教育在学校文化中有着重要价值：表达着学校文化气质,影响着学生文化素养,蕴含着人类文化精神;宜兴市万石实验小学的艺术教育以＂石韵＂为主题表达学校的文化气质,以＂社团＂为载体提升学生的文化素养,以＂熏陶＂为方式弘扬人类的文化精神。     

关于设计文化源与流的思考

设计实践中对于中国文化的表现至今仍停留在仅将其作为“元素”使用的表面形态。本文尝试从传统文化中寻找对于艺术设计最具价值的核心思想作出梳理,寻找文化渊流的思维深处依然赓续不断的思想传统和精神智慧,以此对艺术设计的教学进一步走向深入作必要的反思。     

艺术教育：学校“和爱文化”建设的有效路径

艺术教育中的文化价值

大学作为百年树人之地,对人的知识、见解、思想、信仰、品格、行为等都有重要影响.大学的艺术教育有别于一般的学科教育,其教育的特点让我们在注重技术、技能的训练上,往往忽略了对文化和“人文的学问”的重视.面对今天多数学院教育存在的问题,传承学习中国儒家的教育思想可谓是把钥匙,如春风化雨,万物育焉.     

Philosophy of Art Education in the Visual Culture: Aesthetics for Art Teachers

This paper describes an experimental course in the preparation of art teachers. The goal of the course was to engage final-year art students in thinking about the fundamental questions in aesthetic education and in considering various views of their roles as teachers of art. The classes presented a dialogue between two teachers: a philosopher of art and an artist. We discussed the social justification of art, the place of art in education and more generally the portrayal of visual culture in philosophical thought. The bibliography for the course comprised a list of basic texts in aesthetic education, from Friedrich Schiller to Nelson Goodman. In class we linked the range of philosophical views examined to the artistic exploration of themes (mainly in contemporary and local art). The course also incorporated guest speakers who presented their own projects relating to different meeting points of art and education, including social-activist artists, curators, philosophers of education and school architects. The article presents the rationale for the course, its method and a sample of its content.     

当代审美文化下的美育

随着当代审美文化的兴起，人们的审美观念受到了影响，对于美育提出了新的时代要求。当代美育不仅要恪守传统美育的原则，还应根据时代要求重构人文精神，并走出象牙塔，扩大教育的对象和自身的功能，培养“生活的艺术家”。     

Wilderness Travel as an Art and as a Paradigm for Outdoor Education

One problem of contemporary education is that it tends to be overly specialized. Ideally, education, as opposed to mere training, should develop broad personal competence. Some educational programs promote this whole person competence more than others. Amongst physical activities the art of wilderness travel unites a wide variety of skills and knowledge. It can be seen as a paradigm of an art which unifies the many goals of outdoor education. In this paper wilderness travel is described as an art, its features are examined, and its general lessons described. “Wilderness Travel” symbolizes not only the actualart of travel through the wilderness, but also the way in which such journeys can teach us important lessons about daily life.

How Art Education Can Contribute to the Globalisation of Culture

This paper begins by defining globalisation and discussing the major issues that globalisation raises in the cultural sphere. This includes the relationships of global culture to national and local cultures, the disorientation caused by the compression of time and space, the characterisation of global culture as Americanisation, and the consumer orientation of global culture. The paper then examines the ways in which art education can contribute to these changing social dynamics. These include a celebration of place, addressing heritage and tourist issues, creating hybrid works, discussing commercial choices, examining one-world images, and creating with one-world technologies.
