从Quirk等有关虚拟语式重要性方面的观点的变化着手,探讨了“两型说”及其起源、Quirk等与章振邦等在类型划分上的异同、“两型说”的缺陷及刘礼进(2001)对Quirk等的误读,并指出,作为虚拟语式重要特征的“句法从属性”是客观存在,无法否认的。在解答刘礼进(2001)有关问题时,作者对“后时虚拟式”的最早观点作了部分修正,提出：“命令虚拟式”体现“语境后时”,“程式虚拟式”体现“意念后时”。

本文以Ariel的“语言学的、认知的”可及性理论为基础，对英语的指称词语进行认知解释。主要从指称词语的编码原则及可及性等级等方面介绍了Ariel提出的可及性理论，其普遍性和对指称词语可及性等级划分的细致性越来越受到研究者们的推崇。在英语中，高可及性标示语主要由代词来充当，中可及性标示语由指示词语充当，而低可及性标示语主要由专有名词和有定描述语充当。

“继承语”理论视角下的海外华文教学再考察

语言教学传统上采用第一语言与第二语言、母语与外语这种二元方式来划分教学类型,而近年来兴起的“继承语”理论则认为继承语习得与一语习得和二语习得均不相同,具有自己独特的特征,提出继承语教学、第一语言教学、第二语言教学的三分模式。本文从这一新的理论视角对汉语教学的类型进行重新划分,认为华文教学就是汉语继承语教学,狭义的华文教学具有既不等同于汉语第一语言教学也不等同于汉语第二语言教学的特点,提出针对汉语继承语学习者应采取相应的有效路径和方法。
