要加强对幼儿教师教育技能的培训

<正> 面向21世纪的幼儿教育最紧迫的任务是实施素质教育,培养身心全面和谐发展的跨世纪人才。建立一支业务精良、高素质的具有现代化水平的幼儿教师队伍是实施素质教育的根本保证。随着幼教改革的深人和发展,幼儿教师除具备良好的职业道德、丰富的专业知识和较高的文化素养外,要具备以现代教育思想为指导的教育技能,改善教师的教育行为,已成为幼教界的共识。 教育技能是教师顺利完成教育任务的行为方式。教育技能是建立在教师正确的教育观念和思想及丰富的知识基础上,从事教育工作所必需的能力。具备相应的教育技能在幼儿园教育中是十分必要的,应加强对幼儿教师教育技能的培训。 一、加强对幼儿教师教育技能培训的必要性 幼儿园教师的教育能力直接关系到教育效果,教师教育技能的掌握、积累及不断丰富和深刻,是教师教育能力不断提高和发展的重要基础。 《幼儿园工作规程》指出:“遵循幼儿身心发展的规律,符合幼儿年龄特点,因人施教。”“要创设与教育相适应的良好环境,为幼儿提供活动和表现能力的机会与条件。”幼儿园的教育活动要“促进每个幼儿在不同水平上的发展。”幼儿教师每天面对的是一个个起点不同、特点不同的活生生的幼儿,幼儿教师要对这些不断发展的幼儿实施保育和教育,不能只用单一的教育手?     

对幼儿园班级规则的记录与分析

本研究采用事件取样观察法,对8所幼儿园29个班级幼儿教师提出的215条规则进行研究.结果发现,幼儿教师提出的规则主要集中在学习和生活方面;对幼儿执行规则的情况,幼儿教师的反馈方式主要是表扬和批评;幼儿教师一般要求幼儿必须遵守规则.为真正发挥规则的教育作用,幼儿教师应增强所制定规则的科学合理性与有效性,要求幼儿执行规则的力度应合规适宜.

观察幼儿:幼儿教师专业发展的关键

幼儿教师教育缺失的原因表现为学前师范教育、在职教师教育与幼儿教师教育一体化存在的问题。学前师范教育主要存在脆弱的教育见习与实习,当前学前专业课程设置与教学过程存在偏向于艺术技能训练而忽视教育技能训练的问题,部分开办学前专业的高师院校存在师资建设等问题。重新理解观察幼儿在幼儿教师教育的价值是促进幼儿教师专业发展的前提。

Soft skills at the Malaysian institutes of higher learning

This article discusses human capital development through the seven soft skills elements which comprise communication skills, critical thinking and problem solving skills, team work, lifelong learning and information management skills, entrepreneurship skills, ethics, and professional moral and leadership skills. The Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysia recently announced that the said soft skills are to be introduced to undergraduates of Institutes of Higher Learning in Malaysia. Suggestions on how these elements are to be incorporated in the undergraduates program are also put forward.     

Reading to young children: A head-start in life?

This paper investigates the importance of parents reading to their young children. Using Australian data we find that parental reading to children at age 4–5 has positive and significant effects on reading skills and cognitive skills (including numeracy skills) of these children at least up to age 10 or 11. The effects on skills more closely related to reading and language are larger than those on skills such as numeracy skills. However, all findings in relation to reading and other cognitive skills are persistent and robust to a wide range of sensitivity analyses. Although reading to children is also correlated with children's non-cognitive skills, after accounting for the endogeneity of reading to children, no causal effect remains.

Speaking and listening are important to them who wants to improve their ability in English.It is the same to reading.The paper focuses on the skills of improving reading ability.An efficient reader determines beforehand why he is reading a particular selection and he decides which strategies and skills he will use to achieve his goal.There are two basic skills: language skills and reading skills.     

COGNITIVE COMPONENTS OF DEVELOPMENTAL WRITING SKILL

A significant number of studies have examined the cognitive components of basic academic skills, which has led to major changes in both teaching and early identification assessment practices. However, the majority of previous research has focused solely on reading. This study examines the cognitive components of academic writing skills across early grade levels (1–4) while controlling for basic word identification skills. Results from this study suggest writing skill requires several cognitive skills of differing emphasis depending on the level of writing skill. Perceptual and rapid perceptual processing skills are important during the early acquisition of writing skills followed by a transition to language and language retrieval skills and later still to working memory skills. Applications for education and cognitive assessment are discussed.     

Education and Training: Beyond the Great Debate

Abstract

Strategies in schools for developing students’ action‐planning skills are explored. The student skills required for effective action planning are defined, and means of developing them are identified. Attention is also paid to the nature of the teacher skills required to foster the development of the student skills, and the means of developing these teacher skills. Potential links with teacher appraisal schemes and with institutional development planning are noted.     

2008年女子散打锦标赛拳腿摔技术统计分析

运用文献资料法、观察法、数理统计法、逻辑分析法等研究方法,对2008年我国女子散打锦标赛运动员技术运用现状进行分析．研究表明：我国女子散打运动员技术运用基本成熟,但拳法技术粗糙,腿法技术单一,摔法运用能力不强,组合技术运用能力不突出的现象依然存在．因此,运动员应在提高功力的基础上,在技术的组合运用上狠下功夫,在全面发展的基础上突出自己的特长,以更好地适应不断发展的赛事要求．     

工科院校开展学生职业技能培训的几点思考

职业技能教育与培训是工科院校教学计划的重要组成部分。学校建设好能适应学生实习要求的职业技能培训中心和校外实习基地是提高学生职业技能培训质量的重要前提和根本保证。对学生进行职业技能培训要因材施教,不同的专业安排不同的教学计划与内容。学生是主体,要充分调动学生的主动性和积极性,把学生职业技能培训与国家职业技能资格证书考试相结合。教师是搞好学生职业技能培训的关键。要建设一支热心学生职业技能培训,不断进取有较强实践动手能力的教师队伍。     

Adolescents With Disabilities: The Need for Occupational Social Skills Training

In this article, occupational social skills are defined and their importance is highlighted. The lack of occupational social skills has been estimated to be responsible for almost 90% of job loss. Although a number of commercial social skills instructional programs are available, none address social skills as they relate to specific occupations. We offer 4 different ways to develop appropriate occupational social skills training.     

Perceptions of STEM alumni and students on developing 21st century skills through methods of teaching and learning

21st century skills are essential for career readiness. We investigated the development of students’ 21st century skills at a science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) research university: Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. We designed a self-reporting questionnaire covering 14 skills and deployed it to approximately 1500 students and alumni. Respondents were asked to rate each skill based on the degree to which it was developed during their studies. Domain-general skills scored higher than STEM-specific skills or soft (interpersonal) skills, whereas STEM-specific skills scored higher than soft skills. Content analysis revealed nine methods of teaching and learning through which skills developed. The four active methods had a small effect on domain-general skills, while the five passive methods had a medium-to-large effect on these skills. Active methods had a medium-size effect on both STEM-specific and soft skills, whereas passive methods had no effect on either group. Our contribution lies in identifying and matching methods to skills.
