运用访谈法、文献资料法、观察法等研究方法,对世界各国及中国运动员参加2004年奥运会的竞技状况进行分析。结果表明：世界田径10强中,美国、俄罗斯是真正的田径强国;牙买加、埃塞俄比亚、肯尼亚、英国是田径较强国家;中国田径女强男弱的局面已改变,但整体竞技能力不高。我国要加大优势和潜优势项目的投入,增强训练的科技含量;加强教练员培养比赛型运动员的能力,不断缩小参赛能力和训练水平与田径强国的差距。     

关于格尔木市新华中学田径业余训练现状的分析

田径运动成绩很大程度上影响一个国家或一个地区竞技体育的整体水平,青少年田径后备人才培养水平是衡量一个国家田径水平的重要标志之一,青少年田径业余训练成了输送田径后备人才的重要途径。我国一直以来各种田径大赛上斩获的金牌远远比其他项目所斩获金牌要少得多;根据我国田径竞技领域的现状推测出我国的田径项目训练还存在很多不足,文章以格尔木市新华中学的田径业余训练为例,分析其在田径业余训练中所存在的问题,并结合训练现状和问题探索改进方案。

通过文献资料调查法、数理统计法和专家访谈法,就湖南省青少年业余田径训练可持续发展的概念及其内涵、指导思想和战略目标问题等进行研究分析,认为湖南省青少年业余田径可持续的发展应加强政府的宏观调控,调整项目结构;加强教练员队伍建设,落实可持续发展观;制定青少年业余田径训练后备人才的选拔制度;改革目前的青少年田径竞赛制度以及收缩项目加强管理;加强青少年田径后备人才与教育结合.

研究结果表明：世界田径强国中,俄罗斯、美国、牙买加、肯尼亚4国女子竞技实力很强,俄罗斯、美国优势更加明显;中国总体竞争实力较弱,阴盛阳衰的现象明显。建议：要加大优势和潜优势项目的投入,增强训练的科技含量;加强教练员培养比赛型运动员的能力,不断缩小参赛能力与训练水平的差距。
