本文从中国的历史和现状分析民间档案的成因入手,阐述创建民间档案馆的理由,创建民间档案馆的基础和条件以及创建民间档案馆存在的问题和解决对策。     

Curation,conservation, and the artist in Silent Explosion: Ivor Davies and Destruction in Art

This paper examines the preservation and curatorial approaches explored for the exhibition Silent Explosion: Ivor Davies and Destruction in Art at Amgueddfa Cymru – National Museum Wales (November 2015–March 2016). The collaboration between the artist, curator/researcher, and conservators is considered and the evolving and flexible way in which transient pieces were presented/re-presented is described. The paper offers a case study in the context of this exhibition and argues that regardless of whether it is in traditional media (such as painting) or as time-based media (unstable and open to interpretation), Davies' work challenges a perception of artworks as finished, single-authored objects.

来自田野的报告——民族田野调查与非物质文化遗产保护

以民族田野调查为基础,开展研究和保护工作是非物质文化遗产保护行之有效的方法之一。对于方兴来艾的生态博物馆建设．也需要进行民族田野调查．以利于规划和论证。笔者结合民族服饰文化遗产保护工作的实践,从民族田野调查的选题确立、计划制定、资料分析、文物征集等方面探讨了民族田野调查方法在菲物质文化遗产保护中的重要作用。

The digital shift radically changed how cultural heritage is made, disseminated, distributed, accessed, consumed, and monetized. One of the most important revolutions is that the user.s role changed dramatically, shifting from passive observers to active participants and content producers with many new and exciting opportunities for engagement, creative use, and access. The Internet,Public Libraries,and the Digital Divide

Virtually every public library in the United States provides public access Internet computers as a role central to its mission. This article addresses the issue of why the Internet matters for public libraries, both in terms of impacts on the general public, particularly the digitally disadvantaged (part one of the article) and impacts on libraries themselves (part two of the article). Each part of this report begins with an extensive literature review, followed by a data analysis section. In part one, the author uses the 2000 United States Census dataset to evaluate library efforts to bridge the digital divide, by analyzing differences in the growth of public terminals in library systems serving counties with different levels of household income, households in poverty, non-white households, and non-English-speaking households. The analysis finds no disparity in the number of public computers available in areas with high and low incomes but finds a significant—and widening—disparity in the number of computers available in areas with a higher versus lower percentage of non-white and non-English-speaking households. In part two of the report, the author uses a random effects linear regression model to estimate the effects of Internet access on library usage. This analysis finds that having Internet terminals (versus having no Internet terminals) has a significant positive effect on a library's visits and reference transactions, but not on a library's circulation. An increase in the number of Internet terminals has no significant effect, positive or negative, on visits, reference transactions, or circulation.     

Policy,Pop, and the Public: The Discourse of Regulation in British Commercial Radio

This paper examines the language and practices of regulation that have constructed the idea of British commercial radio. It concludes that the regulator's definitions of its purpose and practice are characterized by variability because of the attempt to draw simultaneously from repertoires of definition established in Britain's public service, commercial, and community traditions. In turn, it is noted that this discourse of regulation does not seem to be shared by those who run commercial radio stations. The paper explores the way that the dominance of a particular public service ideal is negotiated with the increasing influence of commercial orders of discourse, and the marginalization of concepts of community broadcasting.     

众声喧哗中的《笑傲江湖》——大众文化与正统文化的观念分歧

2001年3月26日,被媒体炒作良久的《笑傲江湖》一剧终于在央视8套闪亮登场了。该剧播放期间,笔者每天在网易的电视迷论坛里跟踪受众对该剧的观后反应,新浪网则早早开设了一个关于《笑》剧的主题站点。从这两大网站中,笔者收集了40来篇关于《笑》剧接受反馈情况的文章及调查结果。(需要说明的是。网上调查并非严格意义上的社会调查,在抽样方式、问题设计、实施访问等方面都有缺陷。但是接受调查的网民绝大多数是关心《笑》剧的电视受众,他们在身份、年龄、文化程度、性别等多个方面都能够在很大程度上代表《笑》剧的接受群体,因此。这些网上调查有一定的参考价值。)

俄罗斯地跨亚欧大陆,幅员辽阔、民族众多,积淀形成了独具特色、斑斓多姿的民俗文化,成为构建俄罗斯民族精神的重要载体和内涵动力。本文通过对俄罗斯相关档案馆、博物馆的民俗文化馆藏进行梳理分析,简要评述俄罗斯民俗文化记录、保护、传承现状,力求为中俄文化和合共生、交流发展提供有益借鉴。

通过20世纪以来三次史学图书出版热潮的兴起背景及对社会大众的影响分析,寻求学术文化与大众文化融合在史学领域的途径和趋向,并探索作为一个出版工作者在这一过程中应该肩负的使命。     

Self-Publishing: Opportunities and Threats in a New Age of Mass Culture

Developments in vanity presses, electronic publishing and social media have led to outstanding growth in the publishing industry. Eighty percent of people believe they have a book in them and the opportunities provided by new technologies are responding to their needs. This raises important questions: What effect will these developments have on the industry? In this environment, is quality control feasible? How will potential readers find their treasure? Will book publishing remain a cost-effective activity? We will examine the publishing industry looking for the answers to these questions and may just find that things are not as bleak as we initially thought.     

Expanding Role and Potential of Curation in Education: A Systematic Review of the Literature

ABSTRACT

Advances in computing power have accelerated the growth of knowledge and created opportunities. However, the resulting tidal wave of information presents challenges, including vast quantity with varying quality. In higher education, curation offers one solution as librarians and faculty, as educators and researchers, increasingly curate knowledge for students, colleagues, and other stakeholders. Using integrative and systematic methods, the purpose of this literature review was to examine curation in education. This article presents major findings related to the panorama, perspective, people, product, place, purpose, and process of curation in education. We also discuss major themes including the changing and expanding landscape of curation from curating artifacts to content and data, from non-formal to formal learning contexts, from individual to collaborative curation, and the role of curation in education in bridging people, communities, and knowledge.     

CULTURE and culture at the Royal Ontario Museum: Anthropology Meets Marketing,Part 1

The museum in the contemporary era imports from the nineteenth century a venerable idea: that the first responsibility of a public art museum is to enlighten and improve its visitors, morally, socially, and politically. Yet visitors often seem to have arrived from another planet, bringing with them their own cultural meanings and agendas. A series of two articles presents ethnographic data, anthropological analysis, and a marketing perspective to suggest why the visitors' points of view may seem vertiginously strange to museum personnel. This article, Part One, characterizes the conflict between host and guest as the outcome of two competing models of culture: “preferment” and “transformation.” In a subsequent issue of Curator, Part Two will examine the influence of consumer culture on these models, and offer strategies for rapprochement.     

清代东北流人地方文献与地方民俗文化

清代东北流人是一个特殊的群体,在流放期间,他们笔耕不辍,编纂出了不少有价值的地方文献,为东北地区的文化事业作出了突出贡献。东北流人地方文献中丰富而翔实的记载弥补了东北地区历史记载中的很多空白,流人们忠实地记录了耳闻眼见的东北地方民俗文化。我们从中可以了解到清代东北地区一些富有地域特色和乡土气息的民俗文化,在对这些民俗文化的梳理中,我们可以发现一条清晰的东北各民族文化融合之路。

在梳理科学数据及相关工作的历史背景、发展阶段的基础上,阐述国外学者对DigitalCuration概念的内涵、外延界定,介绍Digital Curation的关键领域和原理,并且从Digital Cura-tion的实施机构及其相关实践项目、学术研究交流活动、教育及其职业发展等方面描述国外Digital Curation的实践进展状况,以期推动国内相关的理论研究和实践进展。
