Conclusion Appropriate assessment, counseling and training techniques are imperative for the effective career education of MH adolescents. These techniques should be integrated and viewed as a series of student-centered developmental activities. Counselors can play an important role in the career development of MH adolescents by coordinating these activities. This requires collaboration with special education teachers, other professionals, parents and students themselves to integrate assessment, training, counseling and work experiences.  相似文献

The Authoring Instructional Materials (AIM) program is a set of software tools for curriculum design and maintenance for use in the Navy. Several Navy test sites are conducting cooperative development and testing of the AIM software. Conclusion The perception of a person's value in society is, in large measure, determined by the individual's earning power and the status of the job which that person holds. Sadly, most autistic and other persons with severe handicaps are not only unemployed but also spend most of their lives in segregated settings, isolated from society's mainstream, and dependent upon others for their care.The employability of persons with severe handicaps, such as autism, is contingent on the adequacy of their career development programs. The task of the curriculum developer is to design instructional systems which will produce consistently high levels of learning despite wide variation in pupil characteristics. This can be viewed as a cybernetic question of regulating variety in a system to produce stable and high level output. Six cybernetic principles—goal orientation, limitation of input, monitoring, control decisions, restoration of equilibrium, and positive feedback—are described, and their application to curriculum discussed. It is concluded that a cybernetic model can guide curriculum developers in designing effective learning systems.  相似文献

校本课程是一个以学校为基地进行课程开发的民主决策过程。高等师范院校校本课程的开发有助于培养和造就从事素质教育的师资,有助于及时反映现代科学最新成果,是提高教师素质的一个重要途径和方法。校本课程开发应着重从三个方面构建:一是教育理论综合课程,二是活动课程,三是教育技能课程。校本课程开发要遵循人本性原则、创新性原则、超前性原则和立体性原则。在开发过程中应着重把握课程目标,课程内容的组织和课程评价等环节。  相似文献

ABSTRACT

The present paper describes a comparative study of ten special schools for pupils with moderate learning difficulties in England and Wales. Qualitative analysis of interview data and curriculum documentation collected from the schools provide a model of the curriculum process which is firmly grounded in the data. Comparisons across the categories of the model indicate strong differences between the schools in certain categories, e.g. use of objectives, specification of curriculum intention, monitoring of pupil progress and curriculum evaluation.  相似文献

Conclusion While career plateauing is a major challenge facing contemporary organizations, possible solutions are available. The career development specialist possessing a variety of skills geared toward both proaction and reaction can be instrumental in designing interventions which minimize the negative impact of plateauing. While career plateauing can be a devastating problem for many high achieving, self-sacrificing baby boomers, for others it may present an opportunity to escape the internal pressures for success. Much of what happens to a plateaued employee is determined by the resources possessed by the employee as well as the organization's response to the employee. The activities of the career development specialist constitute much of what is considered the organization's response. A career plateau may mark the beginning of a period characterized by frustration and depression or it may present the opportunity for a new challenge or reappraisal of life direction and goals.  相似文献
