大学生信息素质教育的现状及对策

信息素质不仅是大学生全面发展的必备品质,也是社会发展的现实需要,加强大学生的信息素质教育,是当前教育改革的必然趋势。文章论述了信息素质与信息素质教育的概念,通过对当前我国大学生信息素质教育现状的分析,提出了加强大学生信息素质教育的对策。     

Integrating Online Literacy into Undergraduate Education: a case study

The present situation in which students enter tertiary education with different experiences of online literacy poses challenges for instructors of subjects in which content and online literacy are integrated. It is hard for university teachers to predict what can be expected of incoming students in terms of computer experience, or to plan suitable syllabuses. In this article, the online literacy practices of students in one subject offered at an Australian university are examined. These practices are viewed within the context of the subject itself, and in the wider context of tertiary education. It is suggested that studies of the contexts and practices of online literacy can provide information which will help instructors to have some idea of what to expect concerning their students’ online literacy. In turn, this knowledge may make it easier for instructors to plan subject syllabuses which provide for groups of students with mixed online experiences. Areas for further research are also identified.     

基于电子档案袋的高职课程信息化评价方式探究

职业教育的改革向着评价主体多元化的方向发展,要求实现课程评价的过程化。基于电子档案袋的评价方式实质上是一种质性评价,它记录了学生的表现、作品、反思等内容,能比较全面地反映学生的发展状况,对关注学生的全面发展具有非常重要的价值。学生也在完成档案袋的过程中不断进步,在与教师与同学的交流中提高信息素养,充分体现了多元化评价的理念。

On mathematics teaching for future engineers—in the digital era

Current changes, especially the wide application of information technology, in all fields of our life, mean that mathematical knowledge becomes necessary in almost every domain. It implies new expectations for mathematical education. An urgent need of a new mathematical literacy for all—also a new mathematical literacy for engineers—is evident. It is necessary to consider a process of mathematics learning at tertiary level from the epistemological perspective and to investigate students’ ways of mathematical thinking. This epistemological knowledge is especially indispensable when students use information technology. In this article current requirements regarding mathematical education are discussed, especially those for future engineers. Analysis of examples of learning elementary statistics, using graphing calculators as supporting tools, leads to the formulation of essential aims for mathematics educators concerning mathematics teaching for future engineers.     

Literacy,speech and shame: the cultural politics of literacy and language in Brazil

This article examines the relationship between shame, literacy and social relations by analyzing shame narratives told to the author by youth and adult literacy students during a 24‐month ethnographic research project conducted in two Brazilian cities. Employing Bourdieu’s theoretical framework and literature from the anthropology of emotions, the article asks: What is accomplished through the micropolitics of shaming? What can it teach us about theories of literacy, language and power more broadly? The article shows how speech shaming in Brazil contributed to the cultural production of inequality by individualizing, psychologizing and embodying responsibility or blame for illiteracy. It argues that sociocultural theories of literacy, language and power need to account for the influence of emotions in communicative interactions.     

中国四省市学生ICT胜任力的表现及影响因素——基于PISA 2015 ICT精熟度问卷数据的分析

信息素养是学生生存和发展的基本素养,对信息通信技术(ICT)的胜任力是反映学生信息素养的重要指标。基于PISA 2015中的ICT精熟度问卷数据,对中国四省市学生的ICT胜任力表现进行分析,考查中国学生的ICT资源、ICT使用情况以及ICT兴趣对其ICT胜任力的影响。结果发现:中国四省市学生的ICT胜任力在参测的48个国家和地区中排名靠后;不同性别、不同年级学生的ICT胜任力存在显著差异;家庭ICT资源对学生ICT胜任力有显著的正向预测作用;学生在学校使用ICT越多、在家使用ICT做作业越多,学生的ICT胜任力越高;学生的ICT兴趣越高,他们的ICT胜任力越高,学生的ICT兴趣对他们的ICT胜任力影响最大。为了提高我国学生的ICT胜任力,教育行政部门、学校、教师应充分重视ICT教育,完善ICT素养测评体系;扩大对ICT资源的投入,为学生更多地接触电子设备提供条件;加大ICT和电子设备的使用频率,在教育实践中逐步融入信息素养教育;着力培养学生对信息技术的兴趣,提高他们的ICT胜任力。     

The Book of the Film: Enhancing Print Literacy at KS 3

This article concerns the ways in which moving image media enable secondary school students to improve their print literacy standards. It examines productive ways of using moving image media with literary texts to support and enhance the literacy skills of students. It contends that informed use of media enhances students' abilities in critically evaluating, consuming and producing texts and that engaging with print and media texts develops the literacy practices of students.

Curriculum-Integrated Information Literacy (CIIL) in a Community College Nursing Program: A Practical Model

This article describes a strategy to integrate information literacy into the curriculum of a nursing program in a community college. The model is articulated in four explained phases: preparatory, planning, implementation, and evaluation. It describes a collaborative process encouraging librarians to work with nursing faculty, driving students to acquire information literacy competencies, to use information resources as part of their learning process, and to be lifelong learners. The literature reviews the evolution of the concept of informatics in nursing practice and the different blueprints organized to attain information literacy competencies. It also describes studies that have included these competencies into nursing curriculum.     

Women, Literacy and Citizenship: A Critique

This paper examines the recent increase in the concern of adult literacy for citizenship, especially aimed at women in developing societies. It looks at what is happening in this field and why; it examines some of the critiques of this range of activity; and it suggests some alternatives which in the end may be more effective in promoting both literacy learning and the practices of citizenship among women.

Web2.0提供了大量的社会性网络的技术,迅速成为高校学生学习知识和传播信息的新型媒介,使学生有了利用媒介充分表现自己的思想和行为的平台;以web2.0为代表的媒介的发展以及传播途径的多样化,必然对学生媒介素养提出更高的要求;高校媒介素养教育要明确教育的目标、内容、教学分析方法,同时要注重与相关学科的融合,拓宽媒介素养教育的途径,加强媒介素养教育实践和加快师资的培养。     

Relationship between Computer-Based Reading Activities and Reading Achievements among Hong Kong and U.S. Students: A Comparative Study Using PIRLS 2011 Data

Reading for personal interest and acquiring and using information using various reading processes are important parts of reading literacy that students need to develop in order to progress successfully through their schooling and fully function in the information society. Computer assisted reading instructional activities are assumed useful in improving the reading literacy of students, especially reading processes. However, students in Hong Kong and the US demonstrated a substantial performance gap in reading proficiency. Using the data from Progress in International Reading Literacy (PIRLS) 2011, this study examines whether and to what extent four computer-based reading instructional activities influence students’ performance in reading processes central to reading for interest and acquiring and using information in Hong Kong and the US. It found that computer-based reading activities are associated with students’ literacy performance in different ways in the two places. In particular, the more often Hong Kong students used the computer to read, the lower the reading achievement in all reading processes measured. However, in the US context, using the computer to write is positively associated with students’ reading scores in all reading processes while using software is negatively related to their reading performance in using all the reading processes.     

“信息素养”概念再梳理

从概念描述方式观察,对信息素养的表达先后有定义式、过程性、结构性等三种描述方式,分别以保罗·泽考斯基、Big6、桑新民的观点为典型代表,其间经历了关注外延到丰富内涵的转变,由侧重具有信息素养的结果到倾向培养信息素养的过程。从技术发展进程考察,可分为键盘交互、图形用户界面交互、网络应用普及三个阶段,每个阶段教学纲要文件中的目标描述,鲜明地体现出当时的技术背景及认识水平。2003年"高中课标"是两种线索中典型认识的交集,是对信息素养认识过程的归纳和收束。     

浅议高职院校学生信息处理能力的培养
